1. Content must be related to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Please read the community guidelines and familiarize yourself with all of our rules prior to posting. All submissions must relate to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom. If you have any questions regarding the rules, you can send us a modmail

2. Spoiler guidelines

Standalone posts discussing spoilers must meet all requirements below:

• Contains a vague-enough, spoiler-free title
• Descriptive enough title to know what kind of spoilers to expect
• Is marked as spoiler via the post options

Discussion of spoilers must be within the scope of the post title. You can link to another post to discuss spoilers within another scope.

Spoilers must be masked using Reddit's spoilertext format.

3. Post Quality Standards (High Effort vs Low Effort)

Posts should be unique and transformative. No repetitive content, or copying (sub)reddit trends. - Titles should be descriptive in order to be searchable and for people to have an clear expectation what's inside a post. (They still have to be free from spoilers) - Memes should be more substantial than just a screenshot and a title. If a similar meme, trend or joke is flooding the subreddit, don't overuse the same tired trend. - Baiting for clicks or upvotes should be avoided at all cost

4. Tag posts with the appropriate flair

We have a wide variety of flairs available, and posts are required to be flaired prior to submission. Intentionally mislabeled posts may be removed at the discretion of the moderation team. Additional clarification can be sought via modmail prior to posting.

5. Check for duplicates

Before posting check if something similar has already been posted recently. Duplicate posts will be removed at the moderators discretion. Sort by new and use the search function to find if there have any similar post already. If you are not sure if something counts as being similar you can ask via modmail for clarification.

6. Credit artists/creators

If you are submitting fanart, comics, guides, memes, videos, or other media that you did not create, you MUST credit the original creator in the title of your submission as well as provide a link to the source in a comment. Posts that do not meet these guidelines are subject to removal. If you are posting your own artwork, please note as such in either the post title (preferred) or a follow-up comment.

7. Be respectful and follow Reddiquette

Please follow the Reddiquette by being civil and respectful at all times. Excessive flaming, harassment, insults, derogatory/disallowed verbiage, posts/comments intended to incite drama and cause conflict, or rants and complaints that aren't constructive in nature will be removed. Repeat offenders will be subject to disciplinary action based on the discretion of the moderation team.

8. No unlicensed or TOS-breaking content / URL Shorteners

Do not discuss, request or post sources linking to unlicensed content aggregation sites. This includes illegal streaming websites, etc. We don't allow anything that breaks platform or game TOS.

Please refrain from using URL shorteners, and instead use full links. Due to the difficulty of moderating said content, all URL shortening links will be removed.

9. Self Promotion Rule

Do not treat the subreddit as your advertisement platform.

Blatant advertisement or self-promotion is prohibited, especially from users who don't interact with the community, and just post links to their own platform without participating. If you're ever in doubt you can always contact the mod team via modmail and ask.

11. No NSFW content

Content has to be SFW to the same extent as the game and the general Zelda franchise. Posts that can be perceived as NSFW has to be labeled as such.

12. Moderator's Discretion & Contacting

Please remember that all the moderators have the rights and ability to execute any action they deem worthy. If you need to contact us, please do so via modmail!
