I wanted to write this post on the very small chance it reaches the man who saved me from missing me and my wife’s marriage ceremony

Last year in July me and my now wife decided to travel to Georgia to get married. I won’t bore you with the details: basically, on the day of our elopement I needed to walk back to my hotel to get something and I got HORRIBLY lost. My phone battery was dead so I couldn’t check a map. I asked around for help and many were kind enough to point me in the right direction. However, I was still lost beyond belief. So close yet so far.

I then approach Aleksander who, initially very cautious, decides to turn on his google maps and WALK ME ALL THE WAY TO THE HOTEL! We had a lovely conversation all the way. He’s a hardworking man who left Russia around the start of the Ukraine war.

Without this man’s gracious help I would not have been able to marry the love of my life that day.

To Aleksander I wish nothing but the best for him and his wife.

A few asides:

Tbilisi rules! We had such an awesome time. Shoutouts to Tanini and Andro there, delicious food.

And as a foreigner who has learned a small bit about Georgia’s current political situation, I wish you guys the best in general. It is very tragic.

Every time I come to Georgia, to Tbilisi for a few months, my hair starts falling at the speed of light, which never happens while I'm in Estonia. I'm Georgian-Estonian. Do others notice that? I have properties in western Georgia, and the water is much better there (I was born there, and generally, everything is better there than in Tbilisi, but anyway). I think it has to do with Tbilisi water specifically.

We are more than 20 students from israel learning medicine in georgia some of us have one year or two To graduate from university when we arrive to the airport they ban us to enter the country whithout saying what the reason and no one would to talk to us we could pay what ever it cost to solve this

Hi everyone! I (m28) and my partner (f25) are going to visit Tbilisi late July /early August. I'd love some insider recommendations of what to do / what to avoid. I am in my 12th semester in medical university my professor was revising us suturing i was with the georgian students and I do understand georgian I'm indian all of a sudden he started making fun of indians and how they smell and he had indian patients and started imitating indians explaining symptoms when I confronted him in front of everyone he laughed and told I will be the exam centre teacher and mind what I say next I just stormed out of class why are Georgians soo racist even the georgian students were laughing

Hello, long story short, i had an order from the USA delivered to the warehouse of Kiwipost, and in the description of the delivery it clearly mentioned that it was handed to one of their representatives ( it was confirmed by kiwipost aswell), i had countless back and forth emails with them and they always say it was not received by them, i don’t know what to do my order was very expensive and it seems like they’re up to no help, i contacted amazon and they said the order was delivered to the exact location, mind you that i had multiple packages delivered to Kiwipost without any issues this is the first time im encountering such issues. Anyone was in a similar situation or know what i can do in a situation like this, its very frustrating, any help would be great. Thank you
