i got this tattoo just a couple of hours ago and realized that the tattoo artist forgot to shave my arm before doing it. maybe it was bc he was in a rush bc i was indecisive on the placement and he actually shaved my bicep at first bc that’s where it was originally gna be placed but then i changed my mind lmao so we moved it to my forearm.
but anyways, will this be a problem???
I got this tattoo 24 days ago, since 1 week ago I only wash it with soap and water about 2 times a day, because it had already finished peeling. A few days ago these almost imperceptible pimples grew(no color), you can only see them with flash or looking from a certain angle, they are a little bit scratchy.
got my first tat a few weeks ago and i’ve been wanting a sleeve for the past year. any ideas?

Tattooist told me to leave it for three days another told me 48 hours but I trust the other one more as he is much more professional. Would taking it off after 48 hours be okay? Also does everything look okay? I'm worried the ink that's kind of leaked out will stain or stay there. Second tattoo but first time using second skin so kind of scared. Please be kind
Hey guys,
I got a tattoo 5 weeks (and 3 days) ago. Today I went to the sauna but then someone mentioned about how it is not good to go to sauna with a new tattoo. Have I waited enough? I was only in there for 20 min. The tattoo peeled off like 2-3 weeks ago. Sorry if some of you find the question to be dumb.
I did this tattoo myself and I’m not sure if I’m allergic to the red ink. There was an abnormal amount of plasma and some raised bumps near the tattoo. Is it normal?
So since I was young I always wanted to connect the three moles on my arm into an Orion tattoo. However I know you’re not supposed to tattoo over moles. Any ideas on how to get around this without it looking stupid? I drew this mockup with a tattoo pen over the moles(they are located in the belt as the three stars or black dots on my arm).
I’m getting my first tattoos (two headed tiger for gemini and sea goat for capricorn) and I am not sure of placements, can you give me some suggestions?
❌Ik lol,so it looks somethin like that ,got it done in like middle school and for some reason it doesn’t seem to be fading maybe because my friend went too deep with the needle, yeah i want a design to cover it
All my scars are a rlly close match to my skin tone that sometimes I can’t even see them depending on the lighting I just know where they are. I’m rlly worried abt the shop lighting and if the artist might miss it with the stencil placement being too high or low. Any advice? I really mentally need this one covered up but I’m scared of it going wrong so I’ve been putting it off for awhile but I j can’t look at it anymore and my bracelets get in the way of typing and writing for college
So I have a couple of throat tattoos that I had the line work done around a couple months ago. They are awesome and I love them so much. It wasn’t until we started the coloring on the left side of my throat that I realized I had a problem. The intensity and pain of the coloring was downright the worst pain I ever experienced when it comes to tattooing. It’s almost indescribable how awful the pain was. I usually power through all tattoo pain and even coloring but I think since it’s in such a sensitive spot it just hurts WAY more.
Tomorrow I’m getting my right side of the throat colored in, and it’s about 4x the amount of color than the left side. Im usually one for anxiety and let me tell you, this is killing me from the inside how much I am anticipating the pain. I’m trying to hype myself up so I can get through it with confidence and for the awesome end result, it’s just going to be hell for me for around 6 hours.
Other than that, the reason for this post is sharing this problem in hopes of getting advice from others. My session is going to be tomorrow at 1PM and I usually bring candy and a sugary drink to keep my sugar up, a stress ball, and my earbuds. Hopefully there’s more that I can do to make this work better but I doubt it.
If there’s anything else you think I can do, please let me know. Thanks
I'm not at all a fan of a lot of small tattoos or small lines to for a few years I've been planning a pretty big spine, shoulder blades and upper arms piece. It has a lot of fully black parts and I've been talking about it a lot with my tattooed friends in order to get their suggestions on artists. I'm aware I'll likely have to go to a different country and do multiple sessions to get the best results and artists for it. I've been saving up.
I'm just worried since this would be my first tattoo the artist might not do one that big. I have a lot of piercings and due to other history I'm very aware of having a high pain tollerance. But anyone can claim to have a high pain tollerance.
Should I be worried?
Hey guys i want to get this tiger tattoo however i don’t want to have the gap in the inside of my arm what can i have instead?
i was just reading up on laws in different countries and i got curious. the legal age to get a tattoo in the UK is 18, and in france it is 16 with parental consent. if a 16 year old went to france and happened to get a tattoo, theres not much authorities can do back in the uk right? bc they still followed the law in the country they got that tattoo? am i just being dumb or is there some loophole or whatever. just wondering :)

Might be a stupid question but seriously how do you go about just trusting an artist to do a massive piece on you ?
Like 90% of regret is because the artist didn't do a good job, and even artists who have excellent work still end up messing up..
So if you've never worked with an artist you can't always trust their previous work, images can be edited and cropped.
You can make sure they work at a reputable shop but honestly how do you gauge a reputable shop? Reviews can be made up, followers can be purchased.
You can check to see if you can get a referral but that's not always the easiest and it would feel awkward asking the artist "hey is it possible for you to give me a reference?" LOL what artist would agree to that..
Maybe I'm just jaded because I feel my arist didn't do a great job. Maybe i didnt do all my due dillegence but I'm trying to learn how to trust my next artist and I legit can't think of anything besides
Getting a smaller piece done first.. but that's expensive and I feel like you're just getting unnecessary tattoos
I've got the angel already just under my calf and now I'm thinking about adding to it this particular image as background... Her wings wrap around half my leg (if that helps). Thanks
