r/tappedout Rules
1. Don't be a dick Self explanitory
2. Add threads Friend requests belong in the monthly "add me" thread stickied at the top of the sub and linked in the sidebar. New "add me" posts will be deleted.
3. Asking for other people's login info Don't do it. This sub is not the place for any services that require someone else's login credentials. Conversely, if someone asks for your login info, we strongly recommend not giving it to them. There are no "verified users," nor is there any type of verification process here. Linking to or promoting any server or hack that charges money for donuts/items will result in a ban.
4. Repeat posts/topics Repeat posts will be removed. They have been clogging up the front page of the sub and causing squabbles among our members.
5. EA employees EA employees are welcome here. If you wish to identify yourself as an EA employee in the sub, please message the mods so we can verify you. If you wish to participate without identifying yourself as an employee, you don't need to contact us. Please note that if you do identify yourself as an employee in a post, one of the mods will contact you for verification. Falsely impersonating an EA employee will result in a permanent ban.
6. Personal Squabbles Keep them out of our community. Attempting to dox, flame, or troll other users is a quick way to be removed from the community.
7. Screenshots Screenshots are permitted, but please do not post new topics with screenshots of completed multiple character tasks, your mystery box prizes, your Springfield Downs or Go-Kart Track winnings, Scratch-R winnings, completed corn, or Moe hiding in the burning bush. New topics containing these types of screenshots will be removed. Unless of course you have a serious question. We understand these can be fun and exciting, but these posts tend to clog the front page of this subreddit when allowed.
8. Springfield/Account transfers Offering your town for sale in this subreddit is not allowed.
9. Quality posts Low quality/low effort posts will be removed at the discretion of the mods. Please use descriptive titles when posting a question, as "Help!" or "TappedOut help" do not help other users who may be having the same problem find your post, which leads to the same questions being asked over and over.

Sorry if this is a stupid question to ask but I see I all over Reddit. How can I host a private server for my self so that I can start playing again?
If I had more time I'd add more, but then again I suck at city planning. So tell me what you think.
And it killed most devices other than the iPad Pro so it was really impractical. But did work.
Goodbye, old friend.
Actually enjoying it so far
Everybody's posting their fantastic Springfields, so I thought I'd post my terrible one. I played for all 12 years, and this is what I have to show for it. I spent the last night before shutdown buying all the rest of the land, but I probably never would have gotten around to reorganizing.
Feel free to roast my map!
I had published without entering any text and especially any image.
really an amazing event, I remember waking up in the morning and getting straight on, then coming back to see the next prizes. so nostalgic and personally the best event in the game in my opinion. 10/10 characters and story
On the last day I save a memory of my city... Twelve years after I say goodbye to this amazing game. As a Simpson fan and a videogames player I'm sad but happy that we we're able to play it. Goodbye friends.
I only just found out it was possible to save your town. Is this still possible or is it too late? I was hoping to boot up a private server for my dad to keep playing on his town. I seen some people say download is failing but I’m not sure if it’s because servers down or because of something else
Yeah eating this for you Homer... TOO Many memories 😭
