r/tappedout Rules
1. Don't be a dick Self explanitory
2. Add threads Friend requests belong in the monthly "add me" thread stickied at the top of the sub and linked in the sidebar. New "add me" posts will be deleted.
3. Asking for other people's login info Don't do it. This sub is not the place for any services that require someone else's login credentials. Conversely, if someone asks for your login info, we strongly recommend not giving it to them. There are no "verified users," nor is there any type of verification process here. Linking to or promoting any server or hack that charges money for donuts/items will result in a ban.
4. Repeat posts/topics Repeat posts will be removed. They have been clogging up the front page of the sub and causing squabbles among our members.
5. EA employees EA employees are welcome here. If you wish to identify yourself as an EA employee in the sub, please message the mods so we can verify you. If you wish to participate without identifying yourself as an employee, you don't need to contact us. Please note that if you do identify yourself as an employee in a post, one of the mods will contact you for verification. Falsely impersonating an EA employee will result in a permanent ban.
6. Personal Squabbles Keep them out of our community. Attempting to dox, flame, or troll other users is a quick way to be removed from the community.
7. Screenshots Screenshots are permitted, but please do not post new topics with screenshots of completed multiple character tasks, your mystery box prizes, your Springfield Downs or Go-Kart Track winnings, Scratch-R winnings, completed corn, or Moe hiding in the burning bush. New topics containing these types of screenshots will be removed. Unless of course you have a serious question. We understand these can be fun and exciting, but these posts tend to clog the front page of this subreddit when allowed.
8. Springfield/Account transfers Offering your town for sale in this subreddit is not allowed.
9. Quality posts Low quality/low effort posts will be removed at the discretion of the mods. Please use descriptive titles when posting a question, as "Help!" or "TappedOut help" do not help other users who may be having the same problem find your post, which leads to the same questions being asked over and over.

Hit the finish line on Oct 31
I never used the multiplyer since it came out but as the games ending I figured why not? Just worked out I got here on the games last day of availability. I really wish they changed it for Halloween like they usually did.

Sooooo when the devs announced the game was closing I remember seeing a post here where the devs were talking about making a private server with fan driven updates, is there any more news on that at all?

Tapping out officially
I haven't logged in for over two weeks now. Yeah, it was fun at first being able to generate as much money and donuts that I wanted and to be able to get any character, building, or decoration that I wanted with them, but it got pretty pointless feeling pretty quickly.. Not to mention that unlocking all of the content from the last 12 years over a short period of a few weeks gets overwhelming, and the time and effort it would take to make it all look good would be wasted come January. I got some good laughs from a few storylines, but even they wore out. I just uninstalled the game, but I'll keep tabs on any updates.

Hi all. With unlimited doughnuts, cash, and all of the taps released; I was wondering what the most efficient store item was to increase my multiplier while using minimal space.

Expanded water park
I used to have a nice compact water park in my town, then I got The Void and it didn’t quite fit in the space available. So instead of making it fit, I just significantly expanded the water park to include a hotel resort, artificial beach areas, and some space-filling holiday chalets. Yes, the trees were a nightmare. Here’s a tour.

I got 2 questions here, before leaving this game.
tried to create a portrait of my town, but the image quality isn’t as high as it appears in the game. It becomes blurry when I zoom in. How can I improve this? Or does this happen to everyone?
Tomorrow will be the last day for all purchases in the shops, so what’s the point of leaving almost 80 days until the game shuts down? Just one last look at my Simpsons’ daily life in this game? 😭

This subreddit is shutting down. Need to know how to access private servers when they are up
I just created an EA account because I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be able to tomorrow when the game is taken off the app store. Could someone please tell me how I would access the private TSTO servers when they start running in January. Also some other questions like is it likely to work or will disney be a dick a force it to shut down. And then if it does work will we get a fall and Christmas update.
