I’m trying to order some clothes and it’s asked me to submit a picture of my id and debit card. What do I submit for the “bank card bill”? There’s statements for my account but they’re multiple pages long for every single month

So I’m trying to set an account up but it kept saying error(;_;).

So since I've learned Taobao was made more easily accessible to Australia. I had decided to buy some things I'd been wanting for a long time, everything so far was going pretty normally, with no issues. But just a couple of days after I first ordered, I opened my app to be greeted with an account restriction notice

Of course, I panicked a little but I tried to listen to the instructions to verify -Passport Authentication for Foreigners- it then popped up with a screen that told me I needed to first verify my Alipay account, so I downloaded Alipay and created an account. On Alipay, it was a bit confusing how to real name verify it because there was no clear section even in the -Account and Security- settings section.

Eventually, after I read some other Reddit posts and searched the internet a little more I managed to add my passport and verify my identity information on Alipay. I thought all there was left to do was go back to Taobao and be able to finish removing the restriction on my account, but nope, it still said I needed to verify my Alipay account.

With that I figured I had to link my Taobao to my Alipay, I went on Alipay and searched for Taobao and it popped up with a screen to link my Taobao to Alipay, clicking on my account and clicked the -Bind- account button, it simply popped up with the message that told me -This Taobao account has transactions in progress- and that's where I'm stumped.

Before I made the Alipay account, I did order my items using Apple Pay so possibly that had something to do with it. I'm not quite sure since I am a completely new user of Taobao, the last update I remember from constantly checking my item status' was that they arrived at the warehouse right before the international shipping, so what happens at this point? I've seen other users talk about more fees even after paying the first fees at checkout so I want to know if that'll be the case for me too (I decided to choose pick-up if that's important which I doubt but will still mention that).

Currently, Taobao's page keeps popping up with the -verify Alipay- page, Alipay won't bind my Taobao account, and I have no idea how to access or get my $200+ order at this stage. Some questions I have are:

- How long would the warehouse hold my orders?
- Will I be able to get a refund if I am not able to receive my orders?
- Has anyone else dealt with this situation before and how was it resolved(or not)?

The latest update as of today is that I went to the customer service help link on my Taobao ban notice and sent a message briefly detailing my problems.

In the meanwhile, as I wait for a call in the following days, does anyone have any possible solutions for me or things I could try out?

Update 1: Was able to access my orders' tacking info; just not from Taobao

I had gotten text messages from Cainiao that simply informed me that my packages had been shipped, and I decided to try downloading Cainiao and see if I can use the same login details to access my tracking there and yep it worked

I end up on this page here and finally, I'm a little relieved, though I still have a lingering question, it says that my packages are being prepared for export customs and it will be sent after it is completed.

So my new question is? Does it mean I don't have to pay a consolidation (or maybe I already have and I just didn't know it) or does it mean something else? Again, I am relatively unfamiliar with how most of these work or what they mean.

So I recently purchased a parcel through superbuy, but when it arrived in the warehouse it showed several shipping methods which were like 20$+ for my 6 dollar item, making taobaos direct shipping way cheaper (I regret choosing superbuy, I’m 5 days past refunding/return and don’t think I can get my money back)

Now I’m placing an order on taobao of 4 makeup items, all small things but way cheaper than over here. Price came out to about 23$ on consolidated shipping which I believe is the base price before they add on shipping fees. Would it be cheaper to do consolidated, or pay the 10$ shipping for direct? Someone with more experience please help me out 🙏🙏

I bought some Nike Dunks from a TMall shop for a price that was good but not out of this world. 483 RMB compared with the 639RMB on the official Nike store.

When they arrived something felt wrong about them. I know TMall products are all supposedly legit but I can’t help but feel like these shoes are fake. The smell of them really reminded me of fake shoes I’d encountered in the past.
