Post and take surveys!

Making a good survey

  1. Make sure your survey follows the guidelines of this subreddit. For clarification, a "meme survey" is not a survey about memes (we welcome those!) but a survey being posted "for the meme."

  2. Start with a good understanding of your audience and what you want from them. For example, don't put questions like "What car do you drive?" on a survey about skincare products.

  3. Make sure your questions are clear and concise, using language that isn't too hard to understand.

  4. Now that you have your questions written, translate your survey onto an online platform. We recommend Google Forms or Typeform.

Posting your survey to Reddit

  1. Again, make sure your survey follows our guidelines, Reddit's Content Policy, and any other subreddit's guidelines that you intend to post to.

  2. Post your survey to r/takemysurvey as a link, not a self post.

  3. Answer the questions that AutoModerator commented on your post. Once you do that, a moderator will approve your survey. If you don't, we reserve the right to remove it.

  4. Post your survey to r/SampleSize, making sure that you follow their rules.

  5. Wait for the responses to roll in!

Now that you know the basics, you're ready to start making surveys! Good luck!
