Happy 2013!

Hey guys! Did you all get the memo? Philosophers are in a high demand and thousands upon thousands of jobs are open!

Today after literally submitting to over a thousand job applications, dozens of interviews, and long nights with stiff drinks, I was finally hired! I can now slowly work towards paying off my debt, and who knows?! Maybe even moving out of my parents house, but hey, that's what 2016 is for!

Dear Reddit.

After speaking with my dear father, Sir Manus vonBourghan, I was given permission to use the Time Machine again. Back in the Stone Age, it seemed to be a little muddled up after the Neanderthals had bowled it over. It is Fixed, now. The handy-man who works on our Ship, Jessup, patched it up just before I left. Today was a bit more adventurous than I would have hoped. I arrived in a large city during the afternoon, i believe. Where I live, and moreover, when I live (Year 3000, sector 10-FcommaQ, in the Nox region of Earth) Of course, I've learned that you people back in 2013 didn't call it that.

You call your Empire "The United States of America", Apparently. Well, a little less than 1000 years from 2013, they will be called the Divided American Empires. I suppose a lot will have changed, yes? Well now, I should also include that I live where you people call "Canada", Which is now known as Noxus Reign Umberg, also know as the Nox region.

Back to my story.

Washington, DC, as you Lot call it, is a very busy City. Nothing like this where i live. I wandered around aimlessly until I tired myself, and became very thirsty. One of your street vendors wouldn't take my money, so i had to find somewhere where I could get some. No one would trade money, even after I told them that mine works perfectly, and they just had to wait a thousand years.

Eventually a found a lovely cafe known as "Starbucks" to rest in. I was still thirsty, and a tad bit peckish. A lad offered to buy me something, and I was eternally grateful for that. We chatted for a bit. Well, it was more he chatted and I listened. I had never been to this Era before, so I was quite frightened. I asked him about the city, where I was and how to get around. He offered to show me great places to be in the city, and of course, I accepted his offer. You 2013 people are very nice!!

After showing me museums, Food Shoppes, and other amazing places in DC, He invited me over to his place for dinner. How sweet of him.

I am at his flat right now. His two housemates are here as well. They are playing a vintage (Or, at least, Vintage to me) videogaming system called the xbox. I hope to have more adventures in the year 2013 tomorrow, and head back to 3000 soon as well.
