I'm a new rider looking to get a SV650s as my first bike and saw this listing on facebook. Since I'm not knowledgeable on bikes, I wanted to ask from a watch of this video, does this bike seem alright? Specifically, did the bike sound fine? I thought I heard some kind of rattling sound but I could be completely off base.
Thank you!
I’m looking into getting a Quad Lock or some kind of phone mount, but I’m not sure what would be the best bang for my buck. I’ve got an ‘02 sv650s. Any input on what phone mount I should get would be terrific, thank you.
Hello guys, wee issue I’ve got. Whenever I put my seat under the hooks like it’s meant to be the holes to bolt the seat to the frame don’t line up at all so I’m forced to have the seat like this (visibly out of line) could this be a cheapo aftermarket seat ? Anyone else had this issue and is there a way to fix it or should I just go for a new one? Cheers
I have a 2004 SV 1000 and recently it started making a rattle noise at idle but only when the bike is hot it comes from the clutch side and it goes away when I pull in the clutch. Any ideas what that could be
Hi
I have seen a few handguards available for the 3rd gen (2016+) SV650, but all of them seem to be universal ones that just happen to fit as all of them have a single mounting point.
Do you guys know any that has double mounting point and are compatible with the third gen?
I found this ones from powerbronze which seem to have double point but they ankwardly cover the brake fluid cap and I am also looking for something more sturdy, just in case I ever drop the bike
thanks a lot and have a nice day
Hey, this is my first bike, 2005 sv650s. I was just wondering if there is supposed to be a gap between the front throttle body and the air filter box. In the picture I’m pulling slightly up on the air filter box to make the gap more noticeable. Appreciate the help in advance!
Bike runs and drives well 45k miles anyone know if this is normal sv sound or if somethings gone, thx
Just ordered new 7/8 bars because the current ones are pretty cooked. Looking for a a good throttle tube assembly that is a direct replacement for an 07’ SV650 throttle tube a cable. I am also looking for some new controls for the handlebars, any suggestions would be amazing, I’ve been looking online but most things are single cable or are wrong diameter, thank you in advance!
Hello everyone!
I've been thinking lately about buying a cheap SV650s from 2004 as a race bike project. It has 60.000 kms (around 37.300 miles) and the owner is selling it for just a 1000€. I already have a bike, lovely gsx650f with license restriction (thanks European Union). I've been looking a few videos of the SV650, people say it's fun to ride and easy to modify. So, back to the question. Is it really worth buying a SV650s for a race bike project? Is it that easy to modify? And if it's worth it, what modifications should I do? Should I keep the fairings and have an aerodynamic benefit or should I leave it straight naked?
(Bike in the picture it's the one being sold)
Suzuki has still not released any info on a 2025 model SV650 for the U.S market. The U.K and the Euro market have the 2025 SV650 already. Are they discontinuing the SV650 in the U.S for 2025?
I’m looking to get a new exhaust for my 2007 sv650s. I don’t really like the look of the stock exhaust and the sound is ok but I’m looking to get a better one. Ideally I would want to get a slip on because full systems are a bit pricy for me. I have watched a couple of videos on exhausts but I was just curious if anyone had any recommendations or tips. Thank you.
Why hasn't Suzuki released in 2024 25th anniversary edition SV650? They don't care at all at this point? 25 years of production doesn't mean anything to them? They could have used same color they use for Busa.
Hello! I made a post about leaking oil, a lot of u assumed that it was the clutch, but actually it was the ¿countershaft Seal?, and to change that u need to take off the clutch worm mechanism or whatever its called, but after I picked up the bike from the repair shop where they changed the seal, then Théb the clutch was just weird, didnt engage properly (kept going forward) even with full clutch, so I was like "im gonna adjust it at home, they probably did something with it at the repair shop" but I cant seem to adjust it, now it doesnt wanna disengage at all, so i cant roll forward... Anyone has any idea on what might be wrong or what happend? They should actually take the bike later on and try to fix it (bcs they fucked it up because the clutch was totally okay before the visit)
