I get fogged every time I take out my GoPro on the central coast. I use the dry strips. It's usually pretty bad after about 30 minutes so the last 2 hrs of the sesh are crap. Any ideas?
I have a Canon Powershot SX130IS and I like it for taking pictures on land, so I want to use it for surf photography. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with it?
Some dudes go surfing all over the world getting into shenanigans like getting on the wrong boat somewhere in asia or the pacific and having a lion try to eat their wetsuits while driving through a national park somewhere in Africa
I saw part of this movie the longest time ago and need to see the whole thing. If you guys can make this happen I will give you a ton of schmeckles
What software did you use to edit them? What types of cameras made the video possible? Location of the video? Any other info would be great!
Hi everyone,
I am working with the video crew for the Triple Crown of Surfing and with the final contest coming up I thought I would try to write a little about what it is like to to put on a webcast. Will also be bringing a better camera to Pipeline to show some better BTS footage.
Anyways if interested you can check out my blog here
Here are a couple of camera phone pictures I took of Dane and Kelly.
Hope this isn't off topic. Thought it might be interesting to some!
I recently picked up a Spiratone 400mm f6.3 lens from Ebay for $40. Needed a special T-Mount to fit on my camera but got some decent shots and could be an affordable alternative for anyone who isn't a pro who wants to get some decent surf shots.

I'm young (22) and ignorant. I've been surfing all my life and want to pursue a career in the surf industry but I have a bunch of questions to ask. Anyone here??
Heading off on a trip and looking to log some footage. I'd like keep the price of the body under $600 and the lens under $300. I'm thinking a DSLR will be my best bet. Thoughts? Thanks.
I'm glad that this sub exist, it needs more love though!
Anyway, I have a Kodak Zi8 that I've been using it for a while. This camera is great, it's been an awesome tool to grab hd footage. But I have to admit when my buddy showewd me his Gopro the other day I was jelouse that I couldn't take my cam in to the water. And I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this particular camera or of anyone knows about a good housing for underwater use. I've seen the universal pouches but I don't know how good the quality would be. I've seen the $250 case on Amazon, but that's ridiculously expensive
