I actually think what joel did with the beat system goes beyond anything mozart or beethoven or bach ever did. If you tried to describe the beat system of strobe in words you would be almost guaranteed to fail because it almost defies logic. And yet the song just works.
Storbjörn
Don’t forget to strobe.
i know the song itself is beautiful with simple sound design unique waltzing bell intro to a machinistic part teasing the next level melody which then unravels and increases in intensity to the drop but damn do the sound effects balance everything it makes the song so much more atmospheric and cold even the very end of the song is like it's saying goodbye it's incredible
Got new Strobe
…before deadmau5 - Strobe and after deadmau5 - Strobe (BS and AS).
Strobe
"Strobe" by deadmau5 is nothing short of a modern-day symphony, where electronic music transcends its genre to become a work of art that echoes the genius of history's most revered composers. In the same way that Mozart's "Requiem" immerses us in a profound emotional journey, "Strobe" takes us on a deeply introspective voyage, evoking a vast spectrum of emotions, from serene contemplation to intense euphoria.
The meticulous structure of "Strobe" reflects the architectural precision of Beethoven's symphonies, where every element is in perfect harmony, building toward a climactic release that feels both inevitable and sublime. Just as Beethoven's compositions broke the boundaries of his time, pushing the limits of what music could express, deadmau5 has crafted a piece that challenges the very definition of electronic music, elevating it to a form of expression that is as profound and timeless as anything composed by the masters.
"Strobe" is a sonic canvas where sound and emotion are inextricably linked, akin to how Beethoven’s symphonies or Mozart’s operas capture the complexities of the human condition. It is a composition that will endure, much like the works of those musical giants, because it speaks to something universal and eternal in all of us. Deadmau5, with "Strobe," has not just created a track—he has composed an electronic symphony that will resonate for generations, just as Mozart and Beethoven's music has done for centuries.
This song makes me nostalgic for a past I never had, grateful for a present different than the one before me, and excited for a future I will never see. It's fire and night. It's something everyone has felt, but only some have heard. It's inexplicably magnificent.
