Hello, Nexiva here. For those players who often visited the Strike Frontier forum at community.muvluv.moe most probably will notice me.

The forum at muvluv.moe in general cannot be opened, as for now.

Hopefully there is someone from there who read this, maybe we could use this as backup forum until the main back on? Or maybe somewhere else like making a group chats?

Name of the event : The Scarlet Twins

Time : 17/11/2016 - 24/11/2016 (13:00, Japan time)

Goal of the event : Clear the quest, kill as many BETA as possible and get points to exchange them for items

New contents :

• 5 new event quests (easy,medium,hard,extreme,ultimate). The harder the quest, the more points you get. There is a chance that a bonus wave made of technique type tank class is added at the end of the quest. There is another chance that a bonus wave made of tank class and fort class is added instead.
• 2 new characters : SR Cryska (AOE attack skill) and SSR Inia (AOE attack skill). SSR Inia's skill is special. There is black psychic explosion visual effect that is shown each time her skill is activated. You can increase the damage you do to BETA by having SSR Inia (+80%) and/or SR Criska (+40%). You can get them by the gacha lottery.
• 1 new TSF : SU-37 Terminator, P-type, Machine gun. You can get by exchanging 1,000,000 event points.
• new gacha tab (explained bellow)
• one new event chapter. To unlock all of the scenes, gather more than 1,000,000 points and clear more than 25 event quests.

Explanation of the new gacha tab:

• Besides the usual event gacha tab, rare gacha tab, normal gacha tab and ticket gacha tab, there is a new tab.
• This tab is the gacha box tab. It was added this week to celebrate the fact that the game reached 350,000 players.
• In this tab, you pull characters and TSFs out of a box that contains 50 characters/TSFs. Contrary to the other tabs, the characters and TSFs you pull will be not be put back in the box. It means the probability to get your favorite gacha increases. It also means you are sure to get ALL of the characters and TSFs in the box if you pull 50 gachas.
• You can see the content of the box at the bottom left corner of the screen.
• If you don't like the content of the box, you can change it by clicking on the red button at the right. It will give you another full new box. You can do it 5 times per day.
• Each box has 1 SSR.
• You can all of the characters and TSFs of all of the boxes at the top right corner of the screen.
• It takes DMM points so real money to pull gacha. 1000 per gacha so emptying a box costs 25,000 DMM points (250$...). At least, if you absolutely want a certain gacha, you're sure to get it. It's statistically way better than the rare gacha tab.

Others:

• Missile TSFs have been nerfed. Now any attack skill used with missile TSF will do less damage.
• TSF automatically dodges laser now. In other words, we are invincible to laser...
• This week, the probability to get a "great success" when strengthening card is increased.
• and some other not so important stuffs.

Update 21/11/2016 : SR Inia was added. You can get her for 1,200,000 points.

Am i onyly one who think Tama SR have better scene than Tama SSR?

I just noticed point exchange option on DMM site, but dont known how it works. it show me i have 500points which i can exchange for 50 in game point, but i dont known how to do that. can someone tell me how to use it? Oh, and that Daily Pachinko. its written its free, but i dont see any button to roll on that site.

so... how to do that? password propably by "i forgot password" or some other thing like that, but what about mail?

EVENT - 04/11/2017 - 10/11/2017 Major Operation Guruguru Labyrinth

The event ends next week Thursday at 13:00 (Japanese time). The goal of the event is to get medals to exchange them for stuffs. You get medals by breaking the treasure chests in the quests. The particularity of the event quests is that they are mazes.

• There are 3 types of medals : gold, silver and bronze.
• There are 4 event quests : Extreme difficulty, Hard, Medium, Easy. Of course, the harder the quest, the better the reward is. The number of medals and the rarity increase with the difficulty.
• The number of medals per quest increases if you have the following characters (that you can get through the gacha lottery) :
  • SSR “Little beast” Daikuji Ayu (+50%)
  • SR Hoduki Akaru (+30 %)
  • HR Suzumiya Akane (+10%)
• Note that the number of medals you get at the end is rounded up. So even if you have Akane (+10%), if you get a single gold medal, you will get UP(1.1)=2 medals.
• The items you can get by exchanging medals are: -SR Gold Fubuki (the special Fubuki of Daikuji Ayu) which is a shield power type TSF. It costs 30 gold medals
  • 2 SR tickets. One ticket costs 50 gold medals.
  -Limit breaking materials (cost gold medals).
  • 4 HR tickets (30 silver medals), gold battle records (15 silver medals) etc…
  • EXP/TSF Experience Boosts, Gold, Gacha points
• To complete the quests easily, use speed-type TSFs. Note that you win when you kill all of the BETA and destroy the chests OR when you run out of time. You can just focus on destroying the chests and surviving.

This week, the probability to get “Great success” when upgrading character’s skill is increased. The new gameplay mode “Patrol” was updated. Now you can do it 3 times per hour. The patch note also says the laser classes were re-adjusted.

Regarding the current special gacha lottery where you can get SSR Yifei, some Japanese player gathered data and found the probability to get X SSR chara or X SSR TSF. I then translated his results.

For now I gave up on trying to translate everything because it's taking way too much time (10+ hours for one chapter = 5 episodes) and because even then, I really REALLY need to improve my Japanese and to compare the official English translation of MLU with the Japanese version to understand how to translate the expressions of each character.

EVENT: 28/10/2016 - 04/11/2016 : Slashing through thunder, Yui Takamura

• Slashing through thunder, SR Yui Takamura is the star of this event. Like the other events, you can get her as a drop by farming the event quests. There is also a new character you can get by farming the event quests : SR Osawa Rinka.
• There are 5 event quests. Easy difficulty, medium difficulty, hard difficulty and extreme difficulty and ultimate difficulty. The probability to get her increases with the difficulty.
• To increase the drop rate of Yui, you can use the following TSFs in your squadron and as your friend's squad leader TSF:
• SSR XFJ-01a Shiranui Phase 1 (+200% for the first copy you have and then +25% for the next copies.)
  • SR TSF-Type82F Zuikaku (+100% for the first copy you have and then +10% for the next copies.)
  • HR J-10 殲撃10型 (+30% for the first copy you have and then +4% for the next copies.)
• To increase the drop rate of the new character Osawa Rinka, you can use the following TSFs in your squadron and as your friend's squad leader TSF:
  • SR Purple Fubuki (+100% for the first copy you have and then +50% for the next copies.)
• The quests are all squad battle type quests. Almost of the BETAs are technique type so use power type. It should have been easy to farm them ...
• If it wasn't for the laser classes... The last mission is especially tricky because of the two lasers. I recommend to micro-manage your units and to use a power rife type TSF with a character with a directional attack skill to snipe the laser before you get yourself sniped.
• There are new event missions. They are basically clear X times the event quest Y.

Regarding the new content (event excluded)

• They are 25 new main quests. I don't think you should have any trouble clearing them.
• There is a new main story chapter!
• There is a new gameplay feature that you can play by going to the home screen and clicking the new button 哨戒任務. From what I understood, you just watch your TSF flying and picking up items. You can do it one time every hour. It's very useless but at least you get to watch your flying TSF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• To celebrate the release of Schwarzesmarken 殉教者たち (~the martyrs) , the daily login bonus will be replaced by an even better daily login bonus.

Explanation about the new gachas:

• To celebrate the release of the new Schwarzesmarken VN, the following gacha lotteries are added:
  • TSF gachas : spend 5000 DMM points, get 11 R+ TSF gachas and at least one SSR TSF gacha.
  • Character gachas : spend 5000 DMM points, get 11 R+ character gachas and at least one SSR character gacha.
  • Event gachas : same as the usual rare gacha lottery except the probability to get the TSFs to increase the Yui drop rate is increased.
  • Special rare gachas: same as the usual rare gacha lottery except the probability to get the new SSR Yifei is multiplied by 5.

About the bugs:

• SR Marimo and SR Ayamine were bugged. G-crystal wasn't given after reading one of their episode. That was corrected and now you can read their stories again to get G-crystals.
• The following bugs will be corrected next week:
• Even if you click on a target during battle, your character doesn't attack the target.
• Your squadron doesn't' get stat bonus if you use SR Kasumi as your CP.
• Not really important stuffs.

I will do the second chapter this weekend but I will most likely only update it next week (to let KJO and Tyradra check the spelling/grammar). But...maybe it's better if I give you a summary of the whole story first?

Also, can anyone make videos the event's story? That story is going to disappear once the event ends so I want to keep track of it.

So this may be the point where I drop out of the game until it fixes various issues, but I wanted to see how they're being handled by everyone else.

For example, if I want to navigate anywhere in the bottom-right of my screen, I can't. The game literally refuses to acknowledge clicks (or taps on mobile) in that region of space, making these maze maps just about unplayable.

Another major issue is the utter lack of obedience from the TSF's. Click a box as a target and you'd figure they'd attack it, but if there's literally anything else in the vicinity forget it, that's the new target.

Anyone else, or are my browsers and phone just especially crappy?

EVENT : 2016/10/20 - 2016/10/28

There are actually two events. A new event, that I will call Comprehensive Exam Event, and an old event : Minori's Special Training.

Comprehensive Exam Event

It's a farming event. There are three types of items that you can farm to exchange for various rewards. The three types are:

Gold Star : you can get 1,5,10 of them from gold treasure box . You can exchange them for SR Swimsuit Marimo-chan and Gold TST/Chara Limit Breaking Items
Silver Star : you can get 1,5,10 of them from silver treasure box. You can exchange them for SR/HR tickets, and Limit Breaking Items.
Bronze Star : you can get 1,5,10 of them from bronze treasure box.You can exchange them for TST/Chara Xp Boost items, gold and gacha points.

To exchange items, go to the shop and then click on the third tab. For reference, getting 1 copy of Marimo costs 13 gold stars. You can easily get 2 stars by doing the last event quest that costs 12 stamina. So you can readily get all of the rewards before the end of the event even without anything to regenerate your stamina.

All of the types of box appear randomly in the event quests. Of course, the higher the difficulty, the higher the chance to find a rare box is.

To increase the number of stars you get, you or your friend can have the following characters in your squadron:

• SSR Chizuru （+50%)
• SSR Mikoto （+50%)
• SR Swimsuit Kei （+30%)
• HR Haruko (+10%)

The quests are essentially a labyrinth where you have to destroy a certain number of walls to find the treasure boxes and the BETAs. When the time reaches 0, you will automatically win the quest as long as you're alive. To win the quest before the time is used up, destroy all BETAs. But the main purpose of the quest is to search and destroy treasure boxes.

The event is accompanied by 5 new canon story episodes. They are essentially the sequel of the main story.

That's about it.

Minori's Special Training.

It's just like the first event. You farm the enemy boss and you can get SR Minori. The only difference is that the quests are different. For example, you play your full squadron at the same time during the last two quests.

As a side note, this event is great to get G-crystals. You can 5 (for getting B rank on the 1st event quests) + 5 (for getting B rank on the 2nd event quests) + 8 (from raising affection of SR Marimo and reading her story) + 5 (for reading the event story) + most likely 8-24 (from getting new SR characters and raising their affection) + 3 (for the maintenance)= at least 29 G-crystals at least.

Been debating myself about this. By the end of the event, most of us should have 10-20 extra Stella's after combining our main one. Since gems are now scarce and hard to farm, would it be better to combine a bunch of Stella's to get those 3 extra gems, or does leveling skills actually make a worthwhile difference?

Pros of combining: More Golden Discs 3 gems per every 5 Stellas

Pros of leveling the skill of one Stella: Less costly gold wise A higher level skill (unsure if this makes a real difference)

i use Vincent because i dunno why but when i switch to other CP even my SR the girl with the bunny my units takes way more dmg dunno if its a bug or something so Vincent is a SSR in disguise kudos to the guy

Looks like it got patched. Final reward for max affection on N and HN pilots are now silver discs instead of a gem. R pilots and above still give gems.

Had 1 million points racked up and was prepared to spend it before the event end/maintenance starts at 14:59.

Well I've been known to have this problem (School and everything I tend to misread instructions or rush through it and make stupid avoidable mistakes) So applying that bad habit of mine here.... I misread the maintenance and realized it starts at 13:00 and ENDS at 14:59.

We don't know the detail yet but I can already tell you that starting from tomorrow:

• A new event will replace the current one
• New main story quests will be added
• New main story scenarios will be added
• Some bugs will be corrected

AND

• A gameplay mode will be added : "Squadron Sortie" (temporary translation). Like in this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq7bD3tg7-Y , you will be able to play your whole squadron at the same time!

Of course, I will update the detail tomorrow.

EDIT :

• The event ends 2016/10/20.
• The aim of the event is to get SR Stella
• You can increase the drop probability by having one of the highlighted TSFs (J-10 and F15). The probability to get these TSFs from the gacha lottery is increased. The probability to get Stella is increased by 50%/30%/20% for each SSR/SR/HR highlighted TSF that you or your friend have.
• There are new daily quests.
• There are 4 event quests. For the two last quests, you play with your whole squadron as the same time.
• With my almost maxed SR+, T-type squadron, even the last quest was very easy. I annihilated everything.

-I played the least mission with only highlighted with one TSF two times and Stella dropped two times. It seems like the drop rate is quite high. I got 5 copies out of about 20 times with +50% drop rate..

• The stamina of story quests is halved permanently! The stamina of daily quests is more than halved permanently!

Explanation about the new gacha event:

If you go to the gacha lottery screen, you will see there is special tab that shows 5 steps:

• First step : spend 10 DMM points and get 1 gacha
• Second step : spend 100 DMM points and get 1 gacha
• Third step : spend 300 DMM points and get 2 gachas
• Fourth step : spend 500 DMM points and get 3 gachas
• Filth step : spend 1000 DMM points and get 5 gachas and you are guaranteed to get a highlighted TSF of rarity HR or higher.

To go from one step to another, simply spend your DMM points on the step.

Hayase, Haruko, Tama, Mikoto, Marimo, Takeru, Inia, and Ayamine have been added to the mix.

Since the odds of drawing multiple SSR's is pretty low, the all-stars of any team are probably going to be the potentially higher-levelled higher-stat'd SR's with the good skills. Minori is already practically a must have for the healing, and mizugi Meiya is honestly an easy choice to slot into a rocket TSF. What other skills are y'all looking to round out the squad with? I got lucky and snagged 2x SSR Yui but screwed up her levelling so it'll be awhile before she gets maxed due to the gold cost but she's in for sure.

It's a farming event. By killing as many BETA as possible and by clearing the event missions ( 5 in total), you get event points. Then you can exchange your event points for 2 SR Guaranteed Gacha Ticket (cost : 300,000 + 450,000 points), 2 HR Guaranteed Gacha Ticket (total cost: 70,000 + 50,000), one Gold Medal (500,000 points) that is used to limit break your SSR character. You can also get many other useful stuffs. But the most important is the tickets and the gold medal (and gold disks too). You can also get one copy of SR Swimsuit Meiya and SR Minori by exchanging 2,500,000 points. It's crazy expensive but if you don't have one yet, do it! Especially Minori, she is in my opinion the most important character in the entire game (gameplay wise).

If you or your friend has a SR Tsukuyomi Mana you get +70% more points. If you or you friend has a SSR Tsukuyomi Mana, you get +100% points.

By clearing the last mission that costs just 12 stamima with a friend that has SR Mana, I got in average 35,000 points. Thanks to my 68 stamina, I can do it 5 times so that equals to 175,000 points. So if you connect at least once everyday and empty your stamina one time, you get 1,225,000 points in one week. Enough to buy the tickets and the gold medal.

So basically this event is at least two free SR cards and five HR cards for everyone.

When you buy all of the tickets, I think you can try to get SR cards through normal gachas. If you convert all of your event points into gacha points, doing the last event mission 5 times gives you enough gacha points to pull 180 normal cards! However, farming material might be the best idea. Especially battle logs (disks) because they can't be gotten in another way.

One last thing. The event missions are even better to farm affection and G-crystals than the mission 1.2/1-1.

Conclusion : It's time to get rich before the next event next week Thursday!

EVENT UPDATE 10/06 - 10/13

New mission added. "ULTIMATE difficulty". The name is not an exaggeration. This is the hardest mission so far. I only managed to get A rank. Even with a team full of SSR level max, you're going to have some trouble. The mission has two S-type bosses, several groups of S-type and P-type BETAs and three heavy lasers at the same time. Too bad there is no fort class or laser fort ahah! Here is what I recommend. 1 S-type Sword TSF with max level SR Minori to deal with the P-type BETAS and to heal 1 T-type Sword TSF with max level SSR Meiya to deal with the bosses (hit and run) 3 T-type Missile TSFs with max level SR+ AOE skill characters to deal with the groups and to do burst damage to the bosses

Since this is a fairly new sub-reddit, I was hoping users would move from the Muv-Luv Community Forums and SF Frontier Wiki Comment Section to here eventually so questions/tips can be shared/answered quickly and archived in an easy to navigate setting.

The reddit will be changed here and there to look more unique aesthetically and is welcome to suggestions.
