Your rather specific subreddit on stenciling and all things related!
Post your cut-out templates, your results and just anything on stencil art. A subbreddit specifically for anything stencil. We love using the word stencil around here. It just rolls off the tongue so nicely. Stencil, stencil, stencil. Stencil.

As the title says. I really need some help pushing this to the finish line. My first big stencil out of a depression hole. It's a commission and is 1.5 m x 1m The images he gave me were separate with one being high res and the other taken on a potato.
I've been trying to hand paint some more details in the big dog but I think it sucks. I will be fixing that right eye, don't worry
Help me please, what can i do to make it look good for the customer ( without starting again because i threw the stencils
Has anyone used TPH or staples to print their stencils? My end goal is to get my photos printed on a lighter card stock with a size of 24” or bigger. I used to get mine printed on card stock but limited to a certain size that had me lining up 2-4 pieces together for one layer. Would much prefer to skip that step and get it printed on one piece. Any ideas on other places and potential cost would also be appreciated. TIA!
Did some stencil work a bit over 20 years ago, and recently got back into it. Here are a couple of my new pices :)
Good morning and Happy Easter. I am located in NYC and I am looking for someone who could show me how to make custom stencils. I can pay someone for their time.
I've got this cool design for a multilayer stencil. I want to use it to paint an old electric guitar. It'll be 7 layers. I made the artwork in GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) basically free open source Photoshop alternative. I was emailing with a company I found online to cut stencils (and their website said they support lots of different software/file types) but they ended up being like oh we can't open it can you send it as adobe illustrator files..
So is there any one that can take my GIMP files and make some stencils? It needs to be 21.5 x 15in and I realize vector would be better, but the artwork is raster at 300dpi. Hopefully that's high res enough to compensate for not being vector.
Hi guys, this is my second stencil graphic, any comment/suggestions?
Stencil art on canvas, 45 x 50 cm
Four layers on a Target shipping bag.
I made this with A4 painting paper. I had some problems due to bad weather (wind) that moved the stencil a bit (but I'm gonna try with something heavier). The real issue is the white, when sprayed the color seemed normal (a bit glueish though) but when it dried it looked like this. Any advice?
