Hi are there any technologies that allow easy stencil transfer on to clothing without having to spray paint. i heard about iron on transfer papers, but the ones i bought has a plastic layer. i only want the line to be transffered on to the clothing is it possible.
I am following a few curb painters in my area and have already got started but want to know what material yall recommend similar to this that gives you crisp edges on the stencils? I have tried mylar 7mil with my cricut to cut numbers with bridges and even if i tape it and use strong adhesive spray to get it as flat as I can it gets bad overspray in some parts but this guy can take cardstock with a gap between the curb behind it and still get perfect lines like on his parody video here: https://www.instagram.com/arenascurbappeal/reel/DB-QytFPLjJ/
I want to offer clean numbering and bordering like the rounded border he did but also am curious what material you recommend. Please give any advice. And the spray nozzle that shoots upward out of the can as opposed at an angle toward the wall, could that also help? Where can I order those for my rustoleum cans. And I realized now that I am using the rustoleum ultra cover cans, would you recommend any specific rustoleum type of can for this work? Thanks everyone enjoying stenciling so far!
First real try at stenciling since making some with my dad as a kid. Forgot to make registration marks so one or two layers are a bit off, but overall I’m super pleased with how it turned out. Based off an old mondo world poster

7 layer stencil for bike shop 13th anniversary
7 layers, all hand cut. Had some happy little accidents n this one. Just kinda rolled with it.
I used a stencil and made it 3d the used some gold and bronze guilding wax to highlight areas, it was too much so put some green back over, now I just despise it. How can I make it better? Any help appreciated. Please be kind. I'm an oversensitive spaz 🤪
I think it might be worth it.
