Basically, I'm boutta finish the final and true ending of the VN I hear the anime of sg 0 basically the final route before they actually reach steins gate and was wondering if there is any other anime media that takes place before she 0 anime that I should watch.

I just finished Steins Gate, haven’t watched 0, and I have some questions.

The first question I have is how SERN didn’t take over in the Steins Gate world line. Because Kurisu was alive, wouldn’t they have kidnapped/made her work for them in order to develop a time machine? Especially because her father went on television and talked about these papers to make a time machine? I mean, we don’t see what happens too far into the Steins Gate world line so it could be a possibility that in the future SERN does invent a time machine.

Maybe they do take over in that world line actually we just don’t see it happen because the show ends. I don’t know.

The second thing that kind of confuses me is who Mr. Braun is and how the hell did he get involved with SERN and the rounders? I know he was some kind of scientist or something.

I’m like 5 episodes in and I’m confused but I love the Dr. pepper product placement. I love Dr Pepper and it’s so funny that anytime I pick up a Dr Pepper to drink it, they also bring one on screen. Screw plot, more Dr Pepper.

I am rewatching after a long time and during it the whole relationship dynamic didn’t sit right with me. Maybe it just personal opinions but to me it would make more sense for Okabe’s romantic interest to be Mayuri. If the love of my life died I would fight just has hard if not harder as he did when Mayuri seemed fated to die. But after only 1 try he just gave up, sure he was really sad about it, but he seemed to just accept it. What really got me was when Mayuri was leaving in the Time Machine and he thought she died he immediately goes to time travel again! That why it’d make more sense in my opinion for his true love interest to be Mayuri.

Shoutouts to the biggest hype man, the one and only Maki Wind. Our guy has so much game that he doesn't need a 3D gf to know how to treat a girl.

His VR waifu puts him ahead of the curve for when AI waifus become real IRL. He is a true visionary and an inspiration.

I know that sounds like a weird question, everything is subjetive after all, so let me clarify:

I loved steins;gate, I was surprised to see it lived up to the hype, I also really like the ending and I was glad everything turned out okay. Then I discovered 0 exists, and based on the pitch of a timeline where Okabe failed to save Kurisu... I am not particularly thrilled. I am a simple person, I like happy endings, so while I want more steins;gate, I don't really want to see it undo what I enjoyed about the original.

So I have a simple question, will everything turn out well in the end? Yeah, it's spoiler but I do not want to trade my memory of the good ending with a bad one just to get more content. If it's as good or better than the original then I consider it good, if it's bleaker/sadder (like with Kurisu still dead) then I'd rather not watch it.

I know this might sound weird or childish, but I like sending characters I liked off with a good ending, rather than a sad one. I'm sure I can sit through it if I know it won't ruin my idea of the happy ending the original provided.

So after some extensive searching I grabbed steins gate, and steins gate 0 part 1 blurays off a local store and feebay. Why is steins gate 0 part 2 on bluray so hard to find? It seems to be OOS or back ordered everywhere, and the copies that do exist are well over $100 USD. Am I just not looking in the right places?

I haven't played any other games outside steins;gate , but I was intrigued when I learned about them being in a simulation , what other bizarre concepts are in this series ?

So i was wondering, is there like official merchandise from steins gate? I wanted to buy some figurines or something...

Is this some extra episode or ova? I don't remember seeing this. I saw it on youtube, and the animation is so good, it feels like a real episode. Is this fan made or there is actually something like this available to watch? I am confused.

why does the world line change in d-mail and not in the time leap machine? i understand that dmail is because of the butterfly effect that needs to change the world lines to "correct the universe" but why doesn't this logic apply when jumping in time leap, by sending your consciousness to the past with memories of the future you can make completely different decisions like killing someone who wasn't meant to die, literally any random thing that drastically changes the future of that same world line, then why doesn't it change? i also don't quite understand why suzuha's machine can physically travel to the past causing the characters to not forget who she is, besides the fact that mr braun remembers having met her in the present and in the past, wouldn't this mean that there would be two suzuhas in the same line and would it be a contradiction? if she died before 2000 then would she no longer be born in 2017? or does suzuha's time machine change the world line? if so why do people remember her?

I found a bunch of timeline charts for the anime, but couldn’t find one for the VN so I decided to make one myself

I do think I’ve condensed the repetitions slightly, but i believe that the broad strokes of each Time Leap loop are represented

I also have omitted Mayuri and Kurisu’s endings through the Beta Attractor Field in favor of making the true ending chart more clear

First of all, I played both S;G and S;G 0 and I loved them, but I will not talk about the latter regarding the question I have to ask.

Before asking the question, we know that Reading Steiner is a ability that allows Rintaro Okabe to remember worldlines even when divergence changes.

Later, we learn that this ability is not entirely unique to him, as other characters can retain memories in the form of deja vu or dreams, as confirmed in Chapter 7.

Rintaro Okabe, however, has an easier time with it since it comes to him instinctively.

Up until now, no problem.

But there's something I really can't understand or something I might have missed.

Why when the divergence changes, Rintaro Okabe has no memory of the past of the worldline he just landed in? Or even when he simply travels back to the past?

At first, I thought it was because he was the one causing these changes or doing the time leap himself.
But for example, when Luka does a time leap in Chapter 8 to spend one last moment with Mayuri, Rintaro has no memory of it and needs to be told, even though he's not the one doing the time leap this time.

I finished the game fairly recently, so there are still a few small misunderstandings I have.
