My friend is all pumped up telling everyone how much money you can get out of it and spent like 70$ for cards. Hes doing preety good as im watching him play so im asking myself hows that gonna work on a long run. Is it like worth investing 1k? is income gonna be that bigger compared to 50$? How long are you guys playing and what your total income?
I thought this would be an interesting attempt at getting into a dapp.
Unfortunately right from the off this is clearly P2W garbage once you’ve stumped 10 bucks to try it out.
You just can’t compete with the starter deck, game matches you up constantly with players far too powerful.
You quickly realize that you need pump a lot of money into this to be competitive. I don’t mind spending money on something enjoyable but after two days with this I’m out.
If anyone is reading this and thinking of jumping in, don’t bother save your money.
I’ve so far invested quite a lot in to this game and after playing for only a few months I’ve learned a little about it and I would like to hear from the very few members of this sub and your thoughts on the matter.
At its current state, I don’t think the game has much potential to actually grow. With that said, I do enjoy the game. Let’s talk about the pros and cons of the game play and also any other thoughts or considerations you might have. I’m hoping that this is a productive conversation at the least.
-the game is very new -the game is still in a beta version -the game requires crypto or credit to begin playing -the target audience seems to be geared towards those individuals who enjoy these turn based card games, which let’s face it, that audience is pretty small. -the game play gives you the feeling that you have no control after you have chosen your deck for a battle -the artwork could use a little work. It is on a computer (and soon to be other forms of media platforms) so take full advantage of the digital appearance -the upper level leagues are only for those who have played when beta decks were prizes or those who spend enough to get a higher level set. A starter set will not get you in to the better reward tiers unless you work your butt off over a long period of time -the affiliate program is a great idea and I hope it helps to recruit other players -you will need to have a good understanding of crypto exchanges and how to maneuver the Steemit wallet if you wish to buy and sell to expand your deck or make profit. -glitchy battle match up system (I’ve been forced to surrender just because it lags on the loading screen; possibly just me and my system though?) -the idea of combining cards to make them more rare, stronger and more valuable is great; but there will be a point where no one will want to buy a $200 USD card unless they are in it for the big tournaments. -the idea of the tournament system is great! This has lots of potential and makes the game stand above some of the rest.
These are my thoughts and by no means do I expect other to think like me. I just wanted to share and ask about your thoughts. Thanks so much to the 59 members of this sub. I hope you check in and give some feedback.
