It is better to keep the mic retracted every use or should I just keep it pulled out as I mostly use it nightly?
Hey all, I'm looking for new headphones and have been eyeing these 2, the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless and the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Are either of them good? Which one is better than the other?
My headsets audio keeps stuttering and crackling, sometimes it just cuts out for a second. It only happens when I'm on pc, i have tried reinstalling windows, not using sonar, different usb ports and just using Bluetooth but nothing seems to work. I even returned my headset and got a new one, and that worked for a little while but then the issue came back. Can anyone help with this?
It's a longshot since the mouse is nearly two years old, but I'm not ready to give it up just yet!
I've been having some issues with this mouse recently and wanted to see if any one in this community had some fixes, or knew if driver rollbacks might help (or where to get the driver rollbacks)
Issues in question:
Scroll wheel doesn't work as intended from time to time. Sometimes I'll try to scroll down, and nothing will happen, or it will scroll up. I've resorted to clicking the scroll wheel in, then mousing down in order to scroll.
It won't connect wireless anymore. At least not consistently.
I'll be mid ritual in poe2 while trying to be wireless with this thing and it'll disconnect randomly, even on a full charge.
Or when I first boot my computer, it won't connect right away and I'll have to turn it off and then back on once or twice before it connects.
It's plugged in permanently now, and that makes me a little sad for what I paid for it
When I first bought my arctis nova pro wireless along with my arena 9 speakers the fallback device feature worked flawlessly, once the software switches from my arena 9 to my arctis nova pro wireless the audio starts outputting immediately. Now when the software switches from my arena 9 to my arctis it will take around 30 seconds to a minute for the audio to start outputting through my headphones. So that is 30sec-1min where there is no audio at all from either devices. I'm pretty sure this is a GG issue because I cannot find anything else relating to this issue through windows.
Hi, I've used the Arctis Nova headset for a while and it's worked great on my PC. However, now out of the blue, the mic just suddenly, doesn't work??? No, it's not on mute. It's not a problem with my PC, everything is set up right. My headphones are at 100 percent but my PC and all applications just don't detect anything! Please help, I'm a streamer and I really need this working.
I’ve tried everything that I can think of but my base station just randomly turned off and I can’t get it back on. It’s plugged into both my Xbox and my PC. I’ve tried new cords, turning everything off for a bit, leaving everything unplugged, plugging the base station directly into an outlet instead of the PC/Xbox, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? Am I going to need to just replace the base station? Hoping I’m not the only person to even have this issue.
My "w" key is having issues. When I click only once here's wwwhat happens w w w wwwww w w ww w www wwwwwwwwwwww. Random amount of inputs. I'm clicking once and pushing space. Not any issue wwwith any other key. Noticed while playing Valorant, I couldn't move forward at times and I would stop running.
I've turned actuation up to max (4). Tried protection mode on it. Haven't spilled anything on the keyboard. I have latest firmware.
I've been getting this error from the software for the past couple months now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software multiple times now and its the same thing over and over again.
There's a big banner on steelseries.com that says you can use the code APEX15 to get 15% off of Apex keyboards. However, when I apply the code in cart, it accepts the code, but nothing is discounted.
Its been a Couple of days since I've got these and I'm having random interference/glitchy-static sounds and at the same time my right earbud stops playing music. It comes back after 15ish seconds but it's so underwhelming considering they're brand new..any solutions? I've got the latest firmware, and a custom EQ, ANC on(max) while on Bluetooth on Iphone 16 pro.
I've recently picked up a Arctis Pro headset due to the control box having line in/out. Coming from a Arctis 7 which had line in/out on the USB dongle.
I've a Fifine mixer/XLR microphone that I use instead of the headset mic. On my old 7, I was able to take Line out from the mixer, to the line out on my Arctis 7 USB dongle and I was able to control anything I set to that device on my PC via mixer.
Now that I have the Arctis Pro, I tried going from Line out on mixer to Line in on the control box and unable to control the volumes assigned on my mixer as before. I've played with Sonar but cannot configure it to do what I want. Does anyone have any ideas or have a similar setup. Maybe I'm missing something simple.
I’m using the Aerox 3 Wireless, and it’s the worst wireless mouse I’ve ever used. The software is beyond terrible. When I connect it via the USB-C adapter, it sometimes randomly disconnects, and the only way to fix it is by turning it off and on again. When the wireless connection drops and I plug in the cable, sometimes it won’t work unless I completely close and restart the software. YOUR COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
Recently bought an Arctis 9 wireless, just wondering what’s the best sonar settings for rainbow six siege (need to hear footsteps in certain directions) any tips?
Unsure as to how long it has been out of stock for. At least a couple of weeks since last I checked. Anyone know if it's discontinued without notice?
I have the arctis nova pro wired and i don’t know which adjustments to sonar would give me the best experience. Please help
Hey, was wondering if anyone has had this issue and has a solution.
The keyboard turns on when wired and with bluetooth but when the switch is set to 2.4Ghz only the function button next to the OLED lights up and it doesn't do anything else. Sometimes the charging status lights will come up (1-9) but that's it.
Hello redditors,
I have Arctis Pro Wireless headphones and I wonder if there is a piece of software that will automatically switch the audio source on my laptop when I am tuning on the headset. My transmitter is always connected so every time I want to put on the headphones I have to go to options and change the source manually which takes me 2 (!) seconds.
Help is appreciated.
Why doesnt it let me click start when i update my keyboard. And what do they mean by turn off 2ghz and all that im really confused i need help???
Had this mouse for 3 years. Never had an issue until just now where I was playing with my rgb settings then all of a sudden, my rgb stops working. Any recommended solutions to this issue?
I recently bought arctics nova 4x and installed the steel series thing to make the headset work and my friends are saying they can hear everything. Spotify, game sound, opera gx typing sounds (I have custom sounds) everything. How do I fix this problem
P.s I’m new to this brand of headphones and also new to pc
Thanks
As the title says, this has been a pretty ongoing issue for me. Especially when I use discord, my friends tell me they can hear their own voices and some of my computer audio coming from my mic. It also seems to be happening in zoom calls when I am watching youtube, a very small amount of voice activity is heard, even when my physical mic on my headset is muted. Ive tried a bunch of solutions on the internet, but nothing really seems to be that helpful. Anyone got any tips?
i recently got these headphones after the wire on my old arctis headphones fell apart. the sound quality is so much worse, music sounds horrendous and when playing games i cant tell where footsteps/sounds are coming from. my friends on discord are having trouble hearing me properly too, saying it sounds distorted or im cutting out. i've tried googling how to sort it but i dont really understand what people mean or where to find the settings people are talking about. is there a guide for dummies that can help me fix it?? or are they just bad headphones
My mouse rival 600 randomly stopped working and i checked the stellseries gg app and it says it is not connected and i can't find any answer on google.
Any one knows how to stop the Steelseries engine from using too much bandwidth? Its already impacting my games and i have already turned of moments which records highlights and clips.
They start off by connecting to 2.4 mode and playing audio for a few seconds then the audio distorts and they disconnect and in the app it says reconnect headset on both ears, I’ve tried just about everything to get them to work, cleaning, repairing them, restarting computer and factory reset just about anything I could find online which isn’t much, I’ve run out of ideas.
I've had a HyperX Cloud for 10 years now, and it has served me well. But I want a wireless headset. I'm wondering if the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless will be a good upgrade in terms of audio quality and utility. It generally seems like a well received headset, but I've been seeing a lot of negative comments about it here on the subreddit. I've had a Arctis Nova 7 on my work travel setup for a few years, and have been extremely happy with it. But on my home setup I still use the HyperX.
Mic quality is not important, as I eventually bought a table mic (I got a lot of comments on the mic being very bad when I was gaming at home), but the Nova 7 was always solid. Build quality is important. I buy my stuff to last. The HyperX has a lot of metal, and it still looks new after 10 years. Comfort is also important. If it's anything like the Nova 7, then I know it will be good. ANC is not important to me.
Basically, they pick up no audio, the wheel for the self hearing doesn't work, the lights don't work, I can't turn them on and off and the Bluetooth button also doesn't work. The only thing that does work is the wheel for the volume to make the self hearing louder and quieter and the mute button. I have tried everything. I am currently charging the headphones but the light isn't there and it also didn't make the beeping sound for the battery being low. I don't wanna buy a new pair, I had these only for around almost 2 and a half years or something and they have been my ride or die for gaming and they have never had this problem, what do I do? Any help would really be appreciated 🫶
Looking for a wireless headset to use on xbox and PC but I'm not sure which one I should go for.
My console is in my living room far away from the sofa so the base for the pro would be collecting dust besides swapping batteries.
My concern about the headsets: -are the firmware updates across these 3 headsets stable -battery life -sound quality
I found a nova pro wireless (used) and 7x for just a little more money than the 5x
