The Arctis Nova 5 is discounted in my country to 95€, so I was thining about buying it. The only problem is the regular 5 is discounted, not the 5X, and I had a thought, what if I connect the headphones to my Xbox via an USB-C - AUX cable? Would that work properly?
If not, what headphones would you recommend for sub 100€? My priorities are good sound quality and comfort, and I don't need a mic.
Is it possible to move the sonar presets to the arctis nova pro wireless headphones. I do see on the DAC where it says SONAR. But I can't switch between the presets that I saved. Thanks in advance
I am stuck between these two choices. In our local store 7p+ is $18 more than the 9x. What i like about the 7 is it white hehe and dongle's usb-c, also the charging port. While 9X have also dongle usb a, also have bluetooth support, and usb micro charging port.
I had someone draw a picture for my OLED on my Apex 7 TKL keyboard and I've been having bugs with Sonar and Moments and was considering a fresh install, but I don't want to lose this image. I see there's a way to upload images but I don't see a way to download or save the existing one. Is there a way I can do this?
Does anybody know how to fix this issue that I’m having? Every time I’m in VR chat and I go to clip something on steel series and I open it up to go back to the clip. I can’t hear any audio from the clip. I took in VR chat, especially my voice and everyone else’s.
I use the headset on all of my consoles and the single is obviously USB-C, but the Series X and Switch don’t even have USB-C so obviously that’s not an option. But will I see any sort of audio downgrade using the A cord on PS5? I use the front USB-C to charge my controller and wondering if plugging headset in the back via the USB-A wire puts the sound at any disadvantage?

Just got the Arctis Nova 1 and i dont seem to have surround sound (ik theres prob a different name for it but basically if theres a goober behind you in game, you could tell from audio.) I know the Arctis Nova 1 wont show up in engine where you can customize all of that stuff because it has a 3.5mm jack and that wont detect in engine for some reason.
Tried turning on spatial audio in sonar too and it still just doesnt work.
Is there anything i can do/use (like buy 3.5mm to usb) that'll give me surround sound w this headset besides the built in verson with my pc windows sonic? Thank ye
when the pc reboots all keys with custom macros attached are reset and the macros are duplicated I'm on windows 10 with an old apex pro

Is the equalizer compatible with the Arctis Nova 7X’s?
I just bought the headset an hour ago and am having issues setting up the microphone. I am using it with the aux cord plugged in but i cannot a way to set up the microphone.
Does the headset require bluetooth to work with the mic?
I am on windows 11 and can hear sound but have no mic input.
Im not sure whether im using the wrong input or what.
Does anyone have any tips or questions?
I used my X7's with my xbox for years with minimal issues besides simple disconnect-and-reoconnects. I decided to use it with my Windows laptop and I found that the mic no longer works on either device. The audio still works perfectly and can be edited through SteelSeries GG
I made sure all drivers were up-to-date, reset the headphones with a pin, no updates on GG. I went through all the GG setting in Sonar and whatnot too, but nowhere could I find anything that fixed it. The live mic testing on there doesn't;t work, no matter what I put the mic volume to, and mic monitoring on Xbox parties and Discord never comes up and no one can hear me.
Any ideas that I may have missed?
Title explains. My headset audio works fine but I get no input, even with a microphone detected by windows. Any help?
I got my Earbuds lastnight and i was excited. I connected them to my Rode CasterDuo. The audio keeds cutting out. Ive rebooted everything. Ive disconnected and reconnected them. I cant find one ounce of support on their page and its frustrating. So if anyone else is having this issue and figureed out a solution. I would love to know. Its beyond frustating.
I bought a pair of Nova Pro Wireless on amazon and had to return due to the ANC nub and not liking feeling it against my ear...
I read this got updated, but my question is how I do I buy another one and know I'll actually get an updated one? Are all the white models one with new samller ANC nub?
Hi! I have the Arctis 7p+ headset which I’ve loved, but looking to get some of the new arctis earbuds for mobile gaming.
I’ve just moved house and lost the usb-c transmitter for the 7p+ headset but I’m wondering if the transmitter that comes with the earbuds will be compatible with the headset too? It’d just save me buying another transmitter for the headset (which seems to be permanently out of stock anyway…). Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
I’ve restarted my Xbox the game I’ve turned the headphones off and on and they still sound like Optimus prime getting sucked off please help it’s insufferable😭 and they are charged btw
The headband on my Arctis Nova 3 has stretched out and I’m planning to get a replacement, but it’s way easier to find the headbands for the 7 and Pro. Does anyone know if they’ll still fit or do I absolutely need to get one for the Nova 3 ?
I figure the holes are the same but I don’t know if the dimensions are weird about it
My nova pro station base no longer turns on at all, although it was still working yesterday. Really need help, I don't know anything about it..
it's the Nova 7, not the 7x or Pro.
cant believe somene sells a 150€ Headset that isnt compatible with Xbox but works fine on a PS5, Switch and the 11 Years old PS4 but for some reason doesnt on a modern Xbox Series X.
any way to make it work or do i have to refund it?

I just bought a new setup and have always used Steelseries as my primary equipment.
What would you recommend for mouse and headset ? And why.
I mainly play fps games and watch movies.

But I only play on Xbox series x but I've heard that you can't use it for party chat ? And if you want to you need to connect to your phone for party chat Or was that only on an old version and how does the mic sound? In party chat
Hello! Im having the same issue reported in this post that did not receive a solution.
Basically, the Moments app that records gameplay does not record in the selected resolution when using a wide/ultrawide screen. In my case, I have a 3440x1440 screen and using the 720/1080/1440p record option ends giving a 808p video that gets super compressed when I try to upload it anywhere. Tried both game and desktop capture modes.
Do someone know a solution for this problem? or is it just not compatible? Thanks

After i started my computer today i noticed that my audio wasnt working. When i went into sonar it says "sonar got stuck loading error 17". The last things i did were update sonar and update windows to the newest version. Can somebody with the same problem help me fix it?
My original cabel for Arctis 5 is broken, and I found an 5 year old post saying that it shares the connector with another proprietary cable, Nikon UC-E6.
Did anyone tried using it or any other USB cabel with Arcits 5?
(I'm aware that there is a small chance that a camera cable will work with headphones, but maybe there is some other replacement cable.)
Buying og chatmix cabel is impossible as of right now and using 3.5mm cabel takes away some of the features.

So i got the Arctis Nova 5 last week for my pc but whenever i play a game it has this weird glitchy sound. I don’t have it whenever i listen to music or watch a video only when i play a game.
Yeah, this is quickly becoming the reason I will never buy SS again. How do you engineer something this poorly?
