One Spring Mod for the pedals of the Green Button Controller

Hi everyone, a newbie here. I just bought my first ever controller (green buttons) and wanted to do the One-spring mod so that I won't be risking of breaking it, however the only video showing how it's done of LeFishy has been wiped from the Internet. I cannot find any pictures nor videos.

Can anyone help, please?

I have seen the blue controller mod on YouTube, but from what I understand the mod on the green one is much more difficult.

Left controller block issues

I’m experiencing a peculiar issue with my newly acquired Japanese steel battalion controller (green buttons) and I was lucky enough to come across a thread on this subreddit that perfectly describes my issue, but doesn’t offer any detailed instructions on how to fix the issue. I figured if the fault is as common as the post says it is then there should be more information online about repairing it, but I haven’t been able to find any.

TLDR: When I move the left stick it causes my pilot to look up. If anyone could point me to some resources to fix my faulty left stick I’d appreciate it.

Steel Battalion Campaign - Round 6, Turn 1 - Post Carnage Report: After a fierce initial push inland, the P.R.F. successfully established solid territory. The Hai Shi Dao, apparently surprised from the assault, were unable to shore up a quick enough defense.

Question on og SB disc read/console issue

I know it isn't related to SB online, but I figured if anyone knew than this would probably be the group to ask. I have 2 consoles, both stock original xbox with nothing done to them. One reads the original SB disc and plays fine; for some reason the other will not. I have put other games into it and played without issue; I've no idea why it wont play SB and wondered if maybe there was some model or release of the og xbox that didn't vibe with the game?

Some questions on acquiring this beautiful game.

Hello everyone, I just recently discovered the fact that this exists, and as a mech fan who loves immersion in games more than anything, I've been immediately hooked by Tekki fever. The problems: I'm a broke college student, and I don't have a single thing I need to play, and don't know much about acquiring or playing more retro games and hardware. I figured if there was anywhere I should ask questions it was here, but if there was a place better suited for that purpose you all could direct me to, it would be appreciated as well. To be clear, I'm interested in getting the original Steel Battalion experience first, but likely will be interested in getting the sequel just to get more playtime out of the beast of a controller. That all out of the way, here come the questions. To play, I'd have to get an xbox as well as the controller and game, the only thing I may already have access to is a TV that could play it. Most of the listings on eBay I find with the controller and game include the Japanese version. Again, have no experience with these things, so if I got the Japanese game, would it run on any xbox, or would I need a Japanese one? If that was arranged, would there be language options or would I be stuck with Japanese text? I'm a native English speaker so if I could be able to have a full English version of the game that would be much preferable. What would be the suggested method of buying the game and controller? I've been mostly just finding eBay listings but are there better places to look? Perhaps places with more friendly pay structures to help those who can't lay 800 dollars on it flat out at least? Lastly, is there anything I should watch out for as someone wanting to get into the game? This is more coming at it from an actually acquiring what I need to play the game and have the best experience, but I'd also appreciate any general play advice of you feel like giving it. Thank you so much for anyone taking the time out of their day to read and respond. I don't really expect a lot of responses but I just wanted to try and get some perspective from people who theoretically either have all this stuff already or are also trying to get it themselves.
