I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know the subreddit's allies! Our loyalty will always be to /r/PrequelMemes, but we have made a deal with a few other subreddits...

/r/Chinese_Bootleg_Memes is a fast-growing meme subreddit for the Chinese bootlegs of the prequels! They are in our sidebar and we are in theirs.

There is also /r/weirdquestions, which isn't technically related to Star Wars but needs subscribers so I'm posting it anyway. It's a subreddit I have managed to get a hold of and now I need help getting it busy if anyone feels like helping out and posting there.

I turned off the feature where it forces you to subscribe to view the subreddit. It was obnoxious. Sorry to the 15 or so people it forced a subscription out of.

I may just disable voting for visitors. That's more reasonable and what a lot of subs do.

Welcome to /r/starwarstvmemes! This is a short guide to the subreddit that will help you get started (if you don't want the extra information: just post TV Star Wars memes here)

So, the first question: what counts as a TV meme? Anything that originally aired on TV or was part of something meant to be aired on TV. That means:

• The Clone Wars
• Tartakovsky's Clone Wars
• Trailers/TV Spots
• Rebels
• Various LEGO Star Wars shows/minis
• Forces of Destiny

This does not mean:

• The films
• Web-exclusive shorts/videos
• Anything that didn't premiere on or was not meant to premiere on TV. No movie marathons please.

So, with that out of the way, what are the rules around here? For now;

1. Follow site-wide Reddiquette.
2. Respect other posters- no trolling, no bullying, no insults, no doxing, anything you would not do to a person in real life.
3. The spoiler policy: all spoilers must be flaired up to a month after the release date. After that it's fair game.
4. Flair your posts!

Also, the subreddit really needs help growing in the early stages. It may say 103 subscribers but I'm the only one regularly posting right now. Regularly post memes and I'll offer you a post as moderator as reward! Feel free to share the subreddit on other parts of Reddit or anywhere else you want.
