Need good pics of missing hardcover dust jackets for “B.P.R.D. Plague Of Frogs Volume 4 Hardcover” and the hardcover Star Wars omnibus for “Kanan”

So I’m asking if any fellow graphic novel omnibus junkies out there felt like being a hero and would be able to email me high quality (as in the highest quality that you would be able to) pics of either or both dust jacket covers that I desperately need as it is slowly driving me insane. There is a local printing company here that will make replicas for me however I cannot find any good scanned pics or just normal pics. Or does anyone have an alternative suggestion for me to pursue? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME READING THIS- I APPRECIATE YOU SLAYERS!

What's the species of the huge beast Luke fights

Hello! I read a Star Wars Marvel comic (from a series released after they reacquired the rights post 2014) where Luke fights a huge beast, much bigger than the rancor.

I'm trying to remember the species' name and/or the comic in which this arena fight took place, but can't quite get there.

Could anyone point me in the right direction, please? Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: The creature is not Kongo the Disemboweler.

EDIT II: Not the Sand-slug, either. It was two-armed and two-legged, if memory serves correct.

New to Comics and searching for "cool" ones

I have gotten close to no comics and incredibly interested in them, but theres so much and I dont know which ones to look for or get, so Im wondering if anyone could recommend their favourites or ones with alot of action, warefare or even horror type comics. Doesn't have to be offical in lore! (Also Love quotes and characters that seem ruthless)

TL:DR Recommend your favourite comics or ones with alot of action!

Single issue or story arc review?

I am doing a blog where him reviewing all Star Wars canon media. I am coming to the end of Path of Deceit, and following this are some comics books.

My question is: do you guys think post a review each issue, or at the end of each story arc? For example, after Quest of the Jedi is a 4-issue series the Blade. Would you prefer one review at the end of the 4, or would you prefer a review after each issue?

Found the entirety of Brian Wood’s short-lived run in Trade Paperback form on eBay for $50 counting shipping and handling.

I actually reread the series late in the summer at the end of August (I collected all 20 issues when they originally came out January 2013-August 2014) and after reading those (plus Free Comic Book Day 2012 & 2013) I was feeling nostalgic and bittersweet.

At some point I found myself looking at current prices on eBay and when I came across the whole lot for $39.99 + $8.00 shipping, I couldn’t pass this up. I truly feel that if Lucasfilm wasn’t sold to Disney, we not only would’ve gotten our first M-Rated Star Wars game (1313) before GTA VI, but we could’ve gotten a great run out of this series. At least in terms of working around the 35 years of preexisting lore that was nullified, hence this series’s cancellation. It’s also worth mentioning that Vol. 4 dropped on this day (October 28th) in 2014. Ten years ago. It really doesn’t seem that long ago but at the same time it kinda does. Time flies.

Other than that, what we did get IMO felt like a simple and poignant way to end the 15 years of modern storytelling that the Prequels and TCW made possible, and by extension an intricate timeline that has existed and entertained generations for 35 years. A treat for young and old indeed.

Modern Era Epic Collections. How many volumes will we get?

By my calculation we should get 5 volumes to cover the 75 issues by Aaron and Gillen, if there approximately 15 issues per Epic Collection. How do you think it will be mapped out?

What are some good sellers/streamers to follow?

What are some good sellers/streamers for Star Wars comics and cards?

I have been collecting Star Wars comics for a few years now and just recently started collecting Star Wars Topps cards as well. I have a pretty good buying strategy via different sites, eBay, and my local comic book store. However, I have seen some live streams/sales for comics and cards and live breaks and all of that. It's pretty new for me and I have watched a couple streams via eBay new application, and one on whatnot.

My ask is for you all to share any good sellers or streamers with me that I should follow and check out as I feel a bit like a ship without a rudder right now. Any other tips or advice you have would be much appreciated as well. Thank you in advance!

Subscription vs direct market

Came here looking for the difference between my comics that have barcodes vs the ones with Spidey heads. Found that answer.

However, all of mine (#45-103 of the Marvel run from the 80s) were obtained via subscription, and a few of them have Spidey heads.

I understand there is no appreciable difference in value, but … it bugs me.

Anyone have insight?

New to star wars comics

Hello everyone :) Recently started reading the SW comics, a bit randomly (reading different sets of issues here and there, from different characters and eras).

Wanted to know if there are any suggestions on comics that dive into the origins of Jedi/sith, almost into the religious side of it (sorry if it's to broad, don't really know how to explain it better myself).

Thanks everyone for the help!

Format preferences; Epic Collections or Omnibus HCs?

For the bargain price of $30 at Ollie’s, I copped the Rise of the Sith HC Omnibus. Had I known it was gonna show up at Ollie’s eventually, I would have held off on purchasing the two Epic Collections that make up this era. I had actually read through the Epic Collection editions over the summer to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of The Phantom Menace.

I have come to the comics community for input on these formats. What are the pros and cons of owning the respective volume formats? Is it more or less the same thing?

First hardcover. I only really buy issues.

I was very surprised when I opened the package and learned I could probably knock someone out with this thing. Was never able to get IDW stuff when they were being printed. Could use one of these for Star Wars Adventures.

I’m right now on the 2020 comics. I finished Vader a while ago and then I started Star Wars 2020, I am on issue 17 but for now idk how to feel about it. It’s very boring for me. Does it get better afterwards or it is the same? Thank you for reading.
