On most stages 80% of the stage is black/invisible. Playing on dolphin on a Retroid 4+. Everything else seems to run fine. Anybody have a fix?
I was reading a really old post from this sub that was made close to 10 years ago that said GC is superior to Classic Controllers for this reason if nothing else: L-canceling can be done with an analog L/R press, and when done this way, there is no delay in being able to tech. If done with a full L/R press, a Classic Controller L/R press, or any other button mapped to shield, a delay is created before you can tech.. either 20 or 40 frames, I forget.
I tested in Dolphin for several minutes and couldn't L-cancel with analog once. When was this changed? Was the tech delay after L-canceling removed completely? The only difference I could see with analog vs full press is that you can't air dodge with analog, so it could be used in some niche scenarios where you want to immediately shield when landing.
Are there any other uses of analog inputs? Classic Controller analog (physically only on non-pro Classics) actually worked the same way as GC analog, so if there are, that cont could take advantage of them too.
If analog has no point in this game, then (if this is at all tournament legal, much less possible) wouldn't the ideal GC controller be one that has "hair" triggers? Like: analog input completely disabled, with little to no travel for a full press?
I'm pretty confident in the validity of my unorthodox button assignments, but am unsure about what to set the right stick to. I've read that attack/tilt stick sucks because A: SDI's effect is lessened, B: A decent amount of tech is harder/impossible to do (glide tossing, DACUS), with little to no tech being easier, and C: Smash attacks come out a little quicker with the C-stick compared to Control stick + attack button. Is all that still true now, after the devs reworked the C-stick options?
If I go that route, I'd have to choose between tilt and attack. With attack being better in the air for nairs not requiring a stop in momentum, and tilt making angled tilts easier on the ground. Wish both those elements could be combined.
So since tilt/attack is assumably out and special is just no, I can option smash or charge. Is there a disadvantage to using charge? Does it SDI the same amount? Any tech negatively affected? Messing around with them in the sandbag room I found it a little difficult to do a completely uncharged smash if the stick is set to charge, like I had to be very conscious of not holding the c-stick for any length of time. Compared to setting it on smash, holding the shoulder button mapped to attack to charge isn't a big deal.
I wanna download and look at it. And I think that was the one most tournaments runned
Whenever I use the keyboard configuration on P+, the game just doesn't read it. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Hey guys, just like the title says, I cant get Project M to boot up Smash Bros Universe properly on my wii. I was able to get Project + to boot up fine also PMEX boots up fine. But of course when i try to do Universe it boots up vanilla brawl. It should be a simple drag and drop of files into my SD card but for whatever reason it wont boot up correctly for me please help. I've been trying to get it to work for the longest time its so frustrating.
Does anyone by any chance still have a KTAR tournament build for Project M or Vanilla Brawl?
Is it easier to use BrawlEx on project M or project+
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find the Project M version of the track "The Attic's a Dungeon?!" from Mother 3, which plays on some Earthbound/Mother-themed stages. I've searched online, including YouTube, but haven't been able to find this specific remix or version used in Project M. Has anyone come across this track or know where I might find it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Whenever I try to load the mod through the home brew channel the unmodded game opens instead. Is there a way to fix this?
I'm very new to this, I installed it today and just followed a guide on youtube and I got it to open properly but I can't really do anything from there, it opened up on the character select screen and there is no cursor, when I hover over the window with my mouse cursor it just disappears and connecting a controller did nothing, I know it's running because there is background music and the background animations is going, what am I doing wrong?
hello every time i try to load up project + everything works correctly but it stays as a black screen for a long time and not loading please help me thank you
Just downloaded it and was wondering if it’s still used or are most people holding out for rollback?
