Subreddit Rules

Playlist name issue
playlists with long names look like this. how can I solve this? it has nothing to do with the theme. it is the same when I uninstall the theme. it is annoying for me.

Win10 Powershell install stuck in a loop of installing, not finding spicetify, and installing again
My Spotify automatically updated today, and usually I can just use `spicetify apply` in Powershell to get it back, but I got an error saying `spicetify` wasn't recognized as a command. Went through a bunch of failed installations (stuck in the same loop I outline below, but at this point I thought it could be an upgrade problem and not an install one), and ended up fully uninstalling Spotify and Spicetify (via Powershell).
After reinstalling it, Powershell says it installs correctly, asks if I want to install marketplace, and then during the marketplace install it says I don't have Spicetify installed. It goes through the Spicetify install again, asks if I want to install marketplace again... over and over. Saying `no` to the marketplace gives this error: `A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'path',` and then ends the install. All other Powershell commands such as `apply` or `upgrade` also give a similar error. Opening Spotify after this, it has the default spicetify look, but the marketplace isn't there. Attached is a screenshot of my failed clean Powershell install. Any idea what's going wrong?
Edit: Despite working in its `default` mode on Spotify, the Spicetify folder did not re-install to %appdata% where it usually is. I don't know where it would have went instead so that it still works semi-normally. I also attempted installing it with winget, which worked for base Spicetify, but same as before, no marketplace, no appdata folder, and no Powershell commands work.

im using the "beautiful lyrics" extension and lyrics are just dissapearing for some songs,
like for example a week ago i listened to the song "Sundress" by A$AP Rocky and the lyrics were there and now they are just gone

Picture in picture extension for lyrics?
As the title says, is there am extension, or way to get lyrics to appear, picture in picture? I have the beautiful lyric extension (I can't remember it's name), but I love it, although I often have Spotify open while doing other things, and would love if I could pin the lyrics only
Any help appreciated

The marketplace/home new locations
i just had to re-install spicetify and spotify, i had the "old UI" and now i have this obnoxious layout, does anyone know a snippet/theme/app to move home and the marketplace back to the sidebar? thanks lots

Light mode pink theme for Spicetify
modified version of \"Sakura\" color scheme inside of Comfy NYRI4, OhItsTom, kyrie25 theme
instead of studying i decided to make this theme instead lol, if you wanna use it aswell, get the Comfy NYRI4, OhItsTom, kyrie25 theme and turn on the devtools on Spicetify (inside of the marketplace > settings > Theme Developer Tools), there'll be a new button right next to the color scheme button, click it and modify the text to the following pastebin: https://pastebin.com/JSrLXBG0 (just do CTRL+A on the Theme Developer Tools, then copy the pastebin and do CTRL+V in the Theme Developer Tools) then click save and restart your spotify (spotify in taskbar > right click > Troubleshooting > Reload) then just pick the Sakura color scheme again and it should be modified! hope you enjoy this theme if you do decide to use it :3

Getting an error in Powershell when trying to reinstall Spicetify
Uninstalled Spicetify a few hours ago because of a few visual bugs I was facing, and got this error while trying to reinstall. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Spicetify not there almost everytime i open the app
Like it says in the title. Almost everytime i open spotify every other week, Spicetify is not there working. So i have to redo the whole process of installing it, even thought i have to auto-update code installed... It's really frustrating, what's up with that?

Nightcore/Speed changer extension
I have been looking for a nightcore extension for a while but eventually gave up, is there any way that this could be possible, or is there already an extension that I just don't know about? Currently I have just settled on using the web player and using a chrome extension but I really want to do this in the app. Thanks in advance!

hi everyone! the “beautiful lyrics” extension stopped working (the microphone icon at the bottom is gone) and the library doesn't open. i reinstalled both spotify and spicetify, but it didn't help. how to fix this?

Marketplace icon not showing up
I was installing spicetify on my macbook, and when I did it didn't have the marketplace icon anywhere on the screen. I tried reinstalling the marketplace through the same command, and got this error:
sh: line 55: spicetify: command not found
I don't know why, and I really want to use some of the good features on the app.

Running personal theme
I downloaded a theme in the marketplace, but wanted to make a few color adjustments to my taste. I downloaded the raw code and made the changes I wanted. But now, I cant find a way to run my updated CSS on my spicetify.
How can I do it? I just wanna run for myself, and not place in the marketplace, since there is a saying for not uploading similar themes
I’m running Spicetify on a Macbook Pro M1, if thats relevant

How can I use my iphone and pc at the same time with spotify/spicetify without switching songs?
Hi, I used to use spicetify version 1.0.2, before upgrading today, what I noticed was that few things changed and one of them was that I was previously able to use my iphone and my pc at the same time, I was doing that as I have my jabras headphones equalized through the iphone app. Anyways, now since updating, whenever I try to switch from computer to iphone, it kicks the other one out, and it prevents me from manipulating the playlist - as before say a commercial was on the iphone, I could have just switched songs on my pc, and my iphone spotify would update, allowing me to basically adjust any part of the song I would want to jump to, or allowing me to switch between the two devices without being switched to a new track (through being kicked out from the other device). Anyone know how to make it so that I can use my devices as before?
I also want to add that switching between the two now tends to pause the songs making it unable to listen on both if I try to do that trick
