Been trying out very subtle different themes and they all just tank my spotify's performance. Past few months spotify has been running worse out of nowhere but I just can't use any themes.
It's not a hardware issue. I'll tell you that now. 32gb of 3200mhz ram and ryzen 5 3600.
Anyone have the same problem?
i love the starry night theme, but i want my progress bar back at the bottom :(
i have the default progress bar snippet installed but its not doing anything.. can anyone help?
So I just installed Spicetify today, and the theme I wanted to use isn't working right
The text theme isn't displaying the home screen right, with almost every image being replaced with some random letters. the side bar also doesn't seem to showing right
Its a fresh installation of spotify, and I've tried both the github version and marketplace version getting the same result. Also tried disabling the "enable carousels on home" feature like some other posts have suggested
I have the extension of adblock made by Charlie (available in marketplace) but i think after yesterday's spotify update, my adblocker broke, like i can skip infinitely but advertisement pops out, any fix or alts?
I've had Spicetify for only one week so I don't know how any of it works so sorry if my question is silly lol. My Spotify app updated and once the app relaunched all my themes and stuff got deleted. I tried the Spicetify apply and backup commands but nothing happened. I ended up uninstalling both Spotify AND Spicetify but after setting everything up again I'm not getting the marketplace icon.
Is this bc Spicetify is not the same version as Spotify? Do I have to wait?
Sorry again if my question makes no sense lol. Tysm.
i am talking about those 3 dots, how can i remove them without changing the theme, can i code a snippet that gets rid of it? TIA
I installed everything perfectly and i wanted to change the theme with theme dev tools, but this isn't allowing to save :( (It have save written but it doesn't work)
i'm searching something to personalize spotify or to view lyrics cause with Xmanager i can't view them
anyway is there something i can install for android?
i got curious and clicked on home config and before i knew it, the order of home page was all jumbled up, how do i revert it back to default?
the things that should be on top are now buried very deep, how do i fix this?
Hello!! I just downloaded spicetify and it's great!! I just can't really find this theme that they have on their website and I find it really really pretty. Does anyone know where I can find its github/code? Thank you sm!
Hello I successfully downloaded Spicetify on my pc and it was working completely fine until I closed Spotify and later on opened It on my phone. I came home, opened Spotify on my pc, and it told me that it was installing Spotify even though it was already installed, and once it installed, Spicetify was completely gone. Why does this happen? And can I fix it? Did Spicetify stop working because my phone doesn't have the extension? I'm confused.
Like the title says, spicetify itself has messed with the new releases section and the image is way too big. No extensions or themes installed, just base spicetify, how do i fix this?
How do I fix this? This is my first time doing this so I don't really know whats going on here nor how I could fix this
I remember there was one but I can not find it. Also, using inspect element on the browser just gives me access to the 300x300 res picture.
so bisacally each time i reboot my cmputer i have to manually reapplicate the configuration by going to the windows power shell and type "spicetify backup apply" it's a bit annoying and im looking for another way to keep the theme just the way it is without any of this inconvenient i even tried to modify the Spotify Shortcut to Use "spicetify auto" but it still doesnt work
what should i do ?
does anyone know how to fix this
For some reason, even though the extension was working just fine, last night it started glitching and doesn't show me the music genres a song belongs to. I've tried deleting and downloading it again, yet the same thing happens.
Hey guys,
i´m pretty new to spicetify and i´m trying to make my own theme.
I tried to look at some themes on the marketplace and it always uses some "--spice"-atributes for color. Like here for example:
If somebody could help me, it would be appreciated.
I also take every advise gladly + If some of you know good docs or tutorials for spicetify develeopment it would be highly appreciated.
Thank youuuuuuu :)))
Does Ad blocker from browsers can be the main reason too? TYIA
It's annoying when you accidentally add 2 of the same songs to your playlist.
Hello, i recently downloaded eternal jukebox but then it stopped working and i just deleted the folder that you make and now all of spicetify isnt working.
Does anyone know what to do?
I just got Spicetify and all I have is beautiful lyrics installed and a theme, will this make Spotify use more CPU even when the app is minimised?
the sudden cutoff is really bad, is there something to make it fade out like at the top or remove it entirely?
it was just plain old spotify with adds
I’m on a windows computer and so far spicetify is working great, but all at a cost of my frames per second
i don't know if this is happening for anyone else, but when i open better local files, it says "something went wrong, try reloading the page"
i have uninstalled and reinstalled both the plugin, spicetify, and spotify itself but can't get it to work. anyone else who had this problem before fixed it?
thanks in advance :)
