I want to change the shorcuts set to some other key for convenience, but I don't know where that file is, I tried appdata/roaming and appdata/local, but the file doesn't seem to exist, at least not there.

error Cannot detect Spotify location. Please manually set "spotify_path" in config-xpui.ini
i loved the dynamic Nord theme but these days it's broken and I've had to switch to another theme. Was wondering if there's any sort of fork available that I don't know about?
I desperately want the old artist navigation back, where tiles were populated on the main page instead of the side bar. Installed Spicetify and themes that showed it to try, but I think they're just old screen caps.
Anyone have a method? Expanding that window helps, but it's just not the ideal navigation for me.
so basically i was messing around and accidentally created a bunch of empty custom apps by mistake, now there are rmpty spot of uless "apps"
i can see theme in the list in the shell but they aren't linked to any folder
is there any way to remove them?
I recently installed Spicetify and when I try to install a theme, the following error message appears:
"Please set current_theme in config-xpui.ini to "marketplace" to install themes using the Marketplace".
Any idea on how to fix this?
EDIT: Decided to install the marketplace separately and was able to install a theme, worked for me.
EDIT 2: Even though I was able to install themes, they seem to be glitched. No real fix so far, hopefully an update will come soon to fix this.
i have a friend who wants to use spicetify but are concerned that it will affect their spotify wrapped statistics
thanks for any answers
It's the same for Extensions, Snippets, Apps, Installed. Everything. Why is it like this and how do I fix it? I can't see the names of descriptions of anything. Help.
I'm using the AUR version for spicetify and spotify, both up to date.
Whenever I try to apply a theme it keeps throwing permission denied
for the file /opt/spotify/Apps/login.spa
.
If I use ls
to check the file's permissions it returns -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4,3M Feb 22 08:52 /opt/spotify/Apps/login.spa
.
I've tried to change permissions and ownership on that file but it didn't work.
I ran my normal update batch file and it crashed (like it has been as of recent). Upon opening spotify it was blank. No problem, I'll just reinstall spicetify all together in powershell. Nope. It had worked before but not today, still a blank screen in spotify. Uninstalled spicetify and had to reinstall sppotify from scratch. Anyone else having issues?
I attempted to install spicetify again after a fresh new spotify and again it bricked the program. Now it's back to boring, plain spotify
I recently fully updated spicetify and spotify to the newest version because I wasn't able to use the marketplace. I also couldn't see the lyrics, even with lyrics-plus. Now that i have it on its newest version, my fullscreen doesn't have a correlated button I can press to access the menu.
Here, I have not installed DJ Info. I have used it in the past and see it has obstructed the view of my list. I uninstalled it a long time ago, but it still shows
How do I get rid of this? I reinstalled Spicetify and Spotify. Cleared backups and everything. How would I remove this?
I previously relied on a method that involved removing permissions from the 'Update' folder Spotify creates whenever it updates. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to work.
I am having trouble finding an extension that enables me to play one clicked song from an album and then after the song completely stop without autoplaying the rest of the album. It always starts another song from the album. It would be cool to stream as if by radio to the end of the queue you want, without the music continuing after the queue. "Full queue clear" is the closest I have found, but when clearing the "Next from" queue, the music pauses for a second and then continues.
is there a way to get genius lyrics back on this extra? i listen to a lot of juice wrld and thats the only provider with actual lyrics :sob:

I just tried downloading spicetify for the first time, and everything was green when I downloaded it, there weren't any errors. However, when I open Spotify, there is nothing there; it's just the normal layout. Can someone please help?
I appreciate any help you can provide,
