I tried out the game with the steel series code and now think about buying dlc. Are the dlc worth it?
With this insane giveaway you get a full playset of the majority of all cards in the game for free! All you need to do is go to https://games.steelseries.com/giveaway/1500842831/spellweaver-valiant-dawn-full-playset-giveaway and sign up to steelseries for free.
This is an amazing time to try out the game or to return to it. You'll also never have to rely on random packs again since all cards beyond the core set (which you'll now have for free) are available as complete packages for both in-game or premium currency.

Best card game ever. I have spoken.
but I think I'm a little late to the party hahaha
I'm having a blast against the AI though, dominion is such a cool faction!
Hi, I've been a CCG veteran for several years and played most of the usual suspects (HS, MTG, Eternal, Gwent, Shadow Era). I like the look of this but have one or two issues before committing...
Is the player base worryingly small? I don't see too many frequent posts on here and read that newbies have long waits for PvP games.
Is the game cross platform? I regularly play on Steam as well as mobile.
How f2p is it for a newcomer at this stage?
Thanks in advance for your time.

Hey! so im thinking of getting back into Spellweaver, i played it like crazy back in the day, if i remember correctly i started at beta and quit a bit after the first expansion. How easy would it be to get back into it with decks and such without investing a ton of more money(i already invested a fair share into it)
I just downloaded it and im super suprised my old account is still active!
Hi I just recently found out about the game. I'm currently only level 6 and would like some advice about the game. Like should I by normal good or evil pack? I'm going to unlock trial on level 8 shud I do them? What deck should I aim for?
Tank you very much
All the new cards are out now!
New cards that habe been revealed so far:
Nature: Untamed Green Dragon
Rage/Dominion: Malvina, Houndmaster (note: she is legendary)
Aspectless: Fate's Touch
Aspectless: Wilderness Guardian
Rage/Nature: Flaming Satyr
Wisdom/Nature: Library of Life
I just wanted to know because it doesn’t seem like this reddit is all that active so I’d rather not invest time if it’s a dead game.
It says there's no server to connect to...
Draft Tournaments now have better rewards. Both single game's and best of three's 3 point reward now includes a draft ticket, which can be used as the 3 pack + ticket entry fee for draft tournaments. So, if you place high in a draft, you get to enter the next one for free! You of course still get to keep all the cards you draft.
Draft tournaments are now scheduled on a day-by-day basis with 5 drafts every day. Three of those are best of three and the other two single game.
Happy drafting!
Join the fun or just finish your quests.
I try to organise it regulary.
Let me know if you dont have time today but in general are interested!
Cheers Ante

Hi everyone,
As a fresh new player I would like to ask the following questions :
How is the game doing ? is there enough people playing to find online games quickly ? I am more interested in draft and trials than ranked games for the moment.
Any ideas of beginner decks list I could use to complete the quests and campaigns ?
Should I focus on one particular heroe to build up my card collection ?
What about the total number of cards to collect ? can someone give me a number ?
Thanks for your answers !
Update: The buff patch has been postponed due to technical difficulties with iOS involving recent changes to the framework and external libraries.
Update2: Since the iOS problems haven taken resources away from new content, the next batch of Ancients Rising cards will be pushed back to april.
Update3: Good news! The balance patch will finally go live this thursday 28th of march. At the same time the next batch of cards will be implemented for internal testing.
After the last batch of new cards really shook up the game last month we already have some cool stuff right around the corner. These are the planned features and changes for the start of 2019:
- nerf patch mid-january
- buff patch late febuary
- some player onboarding changes and new reward system in march
- next batch of new Ancients Rising cards in late march
Check back here or on the official discord to stay up to date when more details are revealed!
Update: The cards are out NOW!
The next batch of cards in the Ancients Rising set will release on Friday December 21st! This release will feature a total of 15 new cards and a new subtype/keyword. Be sure to check back here or on the official discord, so you don't miss any new reveals.
Keep in mind that all cards are still being tested and may be subject to change.
The new keyword is Invocation. Invocations are spells that stay on the board after you play them and are invoked when a certain condition is met, which turns them into a creature. However you can only invoke one card at a time. For example, if you have 4 Angels of Retribution on the field and start your turn at 10 or less life, you will only be able to turn one of them into a creature immediately. The next one will be invoked at the start of your next turn and so on.
Here are all the new cards that have been revealed so far:
NEW: Colorless common: Wall in the North (Note: In the current version the first effect only works, if you have a wall on the front line.)
Colorless common: Primal Battle
Nature/Corruption common: Woodland Revenant (Invocation)
Colorless uncommon: Arcane Summoning
Order/Rage uncommon: Angel of Retribution (Invocation)
Colorless uncommon: Power Shot
Rage/Corruption rare: Dragon Assault
Rage/Dominion rare: Slave Hunter (Invocation)
Corruption epic: Archibald the Wingless
Wisdom/Corruption epic: Grim Abomination
Dominion/Corruption epic: Nightmare Stallion (Invocation)
Wisdom/Corruption heroic: Krip the Last Gatekeeper (Invocation)
As always you will be able to purchase a complete package containing full playsets of all the new cards from this month's release for both gold and crystals. This batch will cost 600k gold or 2.4k crystals (or 5 times as much for the foil version). The new cards will also be rolled into the existing Novelty Packs and be available via quests and crafting.
As a returning Special Offer you'll get the may release package for free when you buy any of the other release packages including this one!
