Are there any plans for this to be added? There was nothing in the recent Community post and it seems pretty ridiculous. Customization is a massive part of the game and yet every time I load into a game, I'm always a heretic. It seems like a really easy solution to this is to just have the teams swap after every game.
P.S. make snipers cloak break once a certain threshold of damage is reached or make them more visible while stealthed.
Can’t they just copy the colour and put it in the game?
I’m assuming Chainsword, but I don’t know for sure. What kills Majors the fastest only using normal combos. Don’t include Aux Scan or Ground Pound. Also share the combo specifically that does the most damage.
TLDR: The real problem of entire melee class of this game is that they are too passive. It is not just block weapon's problem. To solve this,
==========================
I welcome the announcement about block weapon redesign. But block weapon is only small part of huge problem of melee class of this game.
Right now, all melee class must wait for opponents to attack to parry. Parry is just too good, it offers armor recovery & pistol shot. Melee weapon damages are abysmal and seriously weak, so parry is the easiest and the best way to reduce TTK of Majories+ enemies.
This is totally wrong design. Because of this approach, melee classes should wait for opponents to initiate attack so that they can parry. It is too passive, so the life of melee class depends on mercy of enemy AI to attack him, which is really bad design and ironically funny situation as well.
And if opponent doesn't attack, there is no chance to parry, which means there is no window to recover armor and pistol shot. Their TTK is hopelessly slow, so if they want to kill Majories+ enemies with normal melee attack, it will take more than 30 seconds usually, meanwhile they will lost most of their armor and HP, and will die very soon.
Basically, you need to beg "please attack me, please attack me, PLEASE ATTACK ME GOD DAMN IT SO THAT I CAN PARRY" while waiting for parry opportunity but die soon.
This is one reason why Assault and Bulwark suck at Chaos mission, those damn Rubric marines don't attempt melee attack, if they do it is really rare, and they just teleport away when melee classes get close. Same goes to Devourer Warriors who hardly attempt melee attack, rather jumps and runs away. Then melee character's abysmal shameful TTK can't bring fast enough kill, then they get surrounded and overwhelmed by incoming attacks and die soon.
Here are my suggestions:
I understand that WH has traditionally been a niche thing in the video game market, but I think SM 2 has finally brought it in to the mainstream. So I feel now is finally the time to say 'goddam I am tired of playing as space marines'.
I get it, you want to highlight the poster children of the franchise to have the widest appeal and sell units. But when will it be time to branch out and try something riskier? The RTS games let you play as chaos, but how much of a power trip would it be to step in to some 10k year old ceramite and not have a planet to save, or populace to rescue. Your goal is just to reap.
Now yes, I know we're never going to get the full on sadistic X-rated experience that CSMs bring from the lore, kicking puppies and burning elementary schools and rule 34 everywhere. But I still think a clever studio could good do a good job of crafting an interesting game where you sail around the galaxy and burninate the countryside with some gravitas (hopefully as someone more interesting than Black Legion).
What do you think, will such a thing happen in our lifetime or are we doomed to traipse around as Roboute's Boring Sons forever? What would you want to see in such a game.
Is there a particular lore reason why's there no ogryns among the ranks of the deployed astra militarum?
Moving away from Xbox and PlayStation and going to PC. I had everything unlocked on my Xbox and thought I would have to start fresh. Thank you Saber!
I just carried an entire game on lethal and got kicked as we went to extract. The gene seed spawned in the very first part of the map and I carried it to the very end. Never went down once but probably had 8 revives total because they both died a ton. Killed almost all the special enemies and the neurothrope and just got kicked at the last moment. Why even do that.
I have two kids and am working on a doctorate. I had time for one single game today and this shit is so irritating.
So my idea is not very original but it would be incredibly fun to see it in game.
Idk how many of you played Zombie Army 4 Dead War, is a game which let's say that have operations like Space Marine, but every week there is a special operation which has modifiers that increases the difficulty and of course if you complete it, you would get a unique weapon skin/charms.
Since we lost the only modifier we had (tight formation), it would be cool to see it back and more of them in this kind of weekly or monthly special operation. Also it would be awesome to have some new skins or knee decals from them and another cool thing would be weapon charms since some weapons kinda have them (heretic bolt rifle and relic bolt pistol).
What do you guys think?
So much fun to get 100% on the achievements! Hell Yeah love this game!
Title. The circle looks like shock and im curious if the game counts it as shock. Tryna build a Bulwark for Ruthless+ and struggling with what perks
Plamsa pistol and Power Sword are BOTH maxed
Hi everyone , anyone interested in pushing for Thousand Sons Heraldry to be added to the game please take a look / upvote my post on Focus Together :
Hopefully we can represent the dusty boys soon and not have to wait for a new class altogether to be added to finally get the heraldry!!
So as title says, any idea how I can make lethal harder?
I have one idea, but that requires friend's 😅
Tactical's Auspex Scan ability is frankly indispensable on the higher difficulties and it can immediately turn a battle on its head. Unfortunately, I don't see Tacticals in matchmaking use it very often outside of the major set piece battles. I wouldn't even say it's my favorite class, but I sometimes find myself playing tactical anyway (especially on lethal difficulty) simply because I lack confidence that others will scan as often as they should. Be more conscious of your power, brothers!
I was playing my first Substantial Inferno today, solo with bots, and I'm wondering if there's some Halloween special crap for the servers that might have done this, but starting at the Promethium field, the only thing that spawned outside of the Minoris enemies that attack the generators were an infinite amount of those floating green spore homing grenade things.
After leaving the Promethium field, only the green spore things spawned in the next rooms as well, with one Majoris (Sniper rifle) in that red hallway corridor and then a Zoanthrope Duo in the room with the elevator, but otherwise just the green spore things. It was just weirdly empty.
The same thing happened at the defense platform waiting to fire the payload. After the initial wave that runs up from the foreground, nothing spawned but a stupid amount of spore bombs. The only Tyranids I actually got were the ones that you can see run up from the horde in the foreground and another Zoanthrope duo.
I can't think that this was a normal or intended experience, but this is the first time I've ever played on Substantial difficulty. Has anybody else had this happen, or was this just a really weird bug?
3 players, shooting through walls, never running out of ammo. they need to crack down on hackers and modders.
BOO!
