Retiring in Juba

Got lucky with crypto and esports betting so I'm about ready to retire in Juba. I have 2.5m CAD saved up. I have a few questions:

Should I be worried about aids when I shack up with a big booty dinka chick?

How expensive is 24/7 security?

Is street food safe to eat? Are there any food delivery services at the moment?

Luxury apartments I can buy? Any realtors?

Thanks

How do I date in South Sudan as a foreigner?

I traveled to jubia for 3 months about a year ago and I fell in love with everything about the south Sudanese people. As a foreigner, how would I try to find a woman while living overseas? Are there dating apps that are popular there?

Those in Kenya

Can some of those who have moved to Kenya either recently or before please share their experiences there, either positive or negative and any advice you can give to those who want to move there.

I also got a questionnaire that's sanctioned by the united nations and nacosti that's meant to document you experience with Kenyan immigration and you opinion on different issues (Personal data is not needed).Your participation would be appreciated too.

Does South Sudan have the tallest people on Earth?

I’ve always been under the impression that the tallest people in the world lived in the Netherlands, but I recently came across a video saying that they actually are in South Sudan. The video even said they were significantly taller than people from the Netherlands. I was wondering if anyone here could confirm this to be true, and if it is why is it not documented?

Exposed: Malong's $5 Million Deal Selling South Sudan's Future to Kenyan/Ugandan 'Investors'

A few days ago, we received an email at citizenssconcerned@gmail.com with the information below. After some research and fact checking, we can confirm with a relatively high level of certainty that some Kenyan traders/investors have indeed been consulted. As this is ongoing, we shall continue to update you.

The $5 Million Deal!!

For obvious reasons of security, I will not mention my name. However, I  am  concerned member of South Sudan United Front (SSUF/A)  here in Nairobi, Kenya. What I am about to expose not only breaks my heart but also sheds some light on the behaviours of our leadership and his readiness to compromise a lot just to ensure that Tumaini talks succeed whatever the cost.

In a move that does not bode well at all, and reflects the lack of change in the policies of the  SSUF/A towards fighting corruption and genuine peace, I have obtained an interesting document related to the involvement of our leadership at SSUF/A under the direct blessing of General Paul Malong in a secret and very dirty deal with some well-placed funders in the region (Kenya, Uganda and beyond) without informing us the senior members of the SSUF/A.

In mid-2024, as the SSUF/A and its allies prepared to return to the country should it reach a peace agreement with the regime through the Tumaini Peace Initiative, our leader  Gen. Malong started mobilizing finances and  struck a $5 million deal with traders mostly from Kenya to finance its activities during the negotiations and implementation of the expected  peace agreement in Nairobi.

Under the terms of the agreement, the funds will be repaid to the funders when he reach Juba.

The deal did not disclose the interest rate that the funders would receive. However, the leadership of South Sudan United Front promised to provide the Kenyan financiers with contracts, secure their access to key development projects in the country, gain a competitive advantage and mitigate risks, in addition to providing them with investment opportunities in multiple areas with a high concentration on mining sectors, especially gold and rare minerals, agriculture, and energy.

The agreed-upon loan is expected to cover Consultants' fees, data analysis, administrative costs including office space, utilities, and office supplies, Training of Party Leaders and VIP Protection, Peace Dissemination and Outreach, voter education, and mobilization campaigns.

To our members of SSUF/A beloved  movement and South Sudanese citizens, if you have ever wondered why some people are too desperate  to sign any paper to go to Juba, let this be an eye-opener that South Sudan is being sold off from under the feet of its suffering people by our so-called leaders.

General Malong's SSUF/A would have squandered $5 million of our people’s money had they come to power under the Tumaini Peace Initiative according to the previous schedule of striking a peace deal in mid-December 2024 as it was expected to be a Christmas gift to the people of South Sudan as stated by the mediators.

Since an agreement has not yet been reached, I do not know how much of the $5 million has already been taken or used. Who knows, SSUF/A and those Kenyan financiers may revisit such a deal should the Tumaini Consensus prove realistic and ready for conclusion at any time.

The deal has exposed the intention of our  leadership of  (SSUF/A) from the Tumaini Peace Initiative which undoubtedly embodies the leaders’ hopes of gaining power and wealth and maintaining the status quo.

I have exposed this kind of activities and  plan so that our SSUF/A members are aware of what Malong is doing and know what is going on behind the scenes with SSUF/A. As a concerned SSUF/A member, I strongly taking loans from these foreign traders makes us vulnerable, and I only hope and pray that our leader General Malong comes to his senses and focuses on the key issues affecting our people first.

SSUF/A Concern Member in Nairobi.

We can change the currency this year!

The BOSS attempted to reserve a large amount of South Sudanese Pounds in December to strengthen the SSP’s purchasing power. However, the plan backfired because many individuals were hoarding their own reserves of cash at home.

How would you strengthen the SSP?

Change of currency??

Why the fuck did South Sudan join East African Community?

Ethiopia which uses EAT is not even in. Our dumbasses from Juba decided it was a good idea to join this community. Now over 14M and 10M Kenyans and Ugandans, can all flock into the country. We all know the effect of this!
