Hi all! I am a final year product design student who is seeking some information on the kinds of challenges or difficulties that arise when people do sketching/art at home. This could be just as a hobby, or as a profession, side-hustle etc. so if you have experiences that you feel might benefit my research, i'd really appreciate it if you could share!
I'm seeking to uncover the key challenges that people are facing, and then delve into the root causes of why these issues arise. The end goal is to identify an opportunity for a product design intervention, where there is either a user need that isnt being met, or an existing solution that has key flaws which I could look to improve for my major project.
I hope you can answer my short survey (<5 min) if you had a bit of spare time! I would also be happy to post the results here if that is something you guys would be interested in :) You can find the link below.
Best wishes.

So I've been drawing since childhood. I thought it would be fun to draw using a computer pad/stylus but have some questions for those of you who have experience with it. I don't have a ton of money, so I'd love to get an inexpensive pad/stylus for around 50$, but I don't know how you guys draw on a pad without seeing what you're doing. I guess you can look up to the monitor, but that doesn't seem like it would work very well. Any tips or am I missing something? (Also, do those come with software?)
As for the pass that are actually screens, you can see exactly what you're drawing as you draw it because the pad is the screen. But those are pricey. But I'd probably pay 150$ for one (maybe factory refurbished or used? Or not a "professional level" brand?
Any advice on this would really be appreciated! (I'm sure I'll have follow up questions, lol). Thank you!

I used a very nice and easy to understand tutorial by Kate Kyehyun Park, she uses watercolors but I'm happy with the results anyway (^_^)
Based on a dream I had recently
How is it?

At the very least, TV show presidents have good writers and can stick to the script... :-)
