i have both tricks on their own super consistent but it’s just weird to front 180 when i’m locked in backside, it’s like my body just fights it almost and when it does almost happen I feel like i just kinda involuntarily spaz out and don’t know how to land on it. maybe playing with foot placement or something would help?

Can't decide between the Emerica Heritics or the eS Swift 1.5s

I've skated Superstars (which have a pretty similar shape to Heritics) and Swift 1.0 (Sample) and I have to say that I like the Swifts more in general, but I do want to switch it up and go for a balance between bulk and slim.

Has anyone skated both that has a good reason why I should go for one or the other? Durability, board feel, etc.

Howdy! I just got back into skating after a ~18 year hiatus and just built up a board. I'm having a blast so far and the muscle memory is already coming back. But i feel like i would like a slightly softer wheel than the 52mm 99a ones i bought. They're a bit too loud and stiff for my liking these days. I would like something more forgiving on tarmac/asphalt. I will mostly be pushing around on asphalt with the occasional park session in between.

Would a 95a wheel be a noticeable difference from the 99a i currently have. Or do i need to go lower to like 93/92/87a?

I'm not looking for cruiser/longboard wheels. And they still need to be around ~53mm. But something a bit softer.

Im learning to ollie down a curb, but every time even when i land on 2 feet my board shoots out and im scared ill hit my head on the curb. Im pretty confident in olli’ing up but down just isnt working.

Any tips?

Hi, i’ve been struggling for months now with noseslides. I progressed in that I am confident in locking in pretty consistent and trying it with a bit more speed. The issue is I don’t slide very far. I tried stuff like a lot more wax and the angle i ride up to it but nothing is really helping for me. So i’d be pleased if you could take a look at the clips :)

Note: I am not trying to promote my tiktok, I just thought it’s easier this way as it’s various clips already in one video!

Hey everyone, I started skating about 2 years ago now and I am curious if it is possible to learn slides/grinds on concrete ledges/curbs, or would that just mess up my board?

I primarily skate freestyle. It's a lot less impact than any other discipline of skateboarding. The older I get the more I lean towards freestyle.

Basically, I'm skating a 8" polar deck but it went into a pond after not landing a trick and the deck is totaled. theres a deck I like bit its only in 8.125 Ik its a 3mm difference but still scared to spend alot of money on a new deck cause I'm worried I'll get a slower flip and it'll just feel too big. can't decide weather to try it or not

I have this old Penny Skateboard I’m holding on to for sentimental reasons. I went to change the bearings and one was stuck on the truck. It then broke when I tried to remove it. I have tried WD40. Any ideas?

I don’t t know if this is the right place to post but I’ll try and see. So im a beginner and i really want to learn how to skate and a lot of people talk about “getting comfortable on your board” etc but i feel kinda stupid that im a beginner so i don’t really cruise around on my board enough. I've been skating for a little more than a month and I am not getting any better than when I started. I skate almost every day for about an hour, should I skate more? Even the easier tricks are really hard for me. I have been trying to land a shuv for the past 3 weeks and I cannot land with my back foot, do you have any tips?

Just wondering who the names are on this top!? I won a competition nearly 20 years ago from Rollersnakes HQ in Derby and got this shirt. I definitely know Ryan Sheckler, Julien Furones and Willow are on there but who are the others?

I literally won the competition and wasn't overly fussed with the shirt, so it was wrapped in a bag and chucked in a drawer since!

Now i've dug it out, I just want to know all the names on there and if it was worth anything to anyone. I'm probably going to sell it as no longer skate and want to make sure it goes to the right person?

Just what the title says. I’m looking for a pair of pants with a similar fit to Polar’s Railway Chino. They’re just the right amount of baggy. My boyfriend loved his so much, & skated them to shreds. Bro everytime I try to do an Ollie or sum, and I try to slide my foot and I can’t even do it. When I try to do a shuv it I can’t kick my foot, and it always goes back. I’m so close to quitting.
