Transform vanilla to multiplex?

I’m working on adding multiplex support to my siteswap simulator, so I’m learning how multiplex works. I was pretty sure that I would be able to convert any vanilla siteswap to a multiplex just by doing something like this:

441 => [4][4][1] => [40][40][10]

However, iJuggle doesn’t like this (👋🏻 u/MrPrezident0), and I was wondering if anyone knows why? I thought adding a “phantom” 0 ball would…just work?

What do you want r/siteswap to be?

Hey all,

I wanted to start a discussion on what we as mods can do to help give you what you want out of this sub. Sidebar thoughts? Weekly discussions? Competitions? Rules? etc...

One of my favorite juggling robots. It's so simple. Just a single stepper motor.

Ran into this juggler at a tech conference that put a camera inside of a juggling club.

I'm currently working on juggling balls that detect siteswap patterns when you juggle them.
