To make it simple i have many hours on both assetto and RBR on monitor, just tried oculust quest 2 and its great i cleared the stage flawlessly, but i felt really slow, when you push the car on gravel and you reach 120+ km/h you should at least be worried about the outcome but in VR i completely missed that sensation, i was pushing but it felt like a walk in the park, even if this could potentially improve my time idgaf it feels like cheating, any of you had the same problem? Its just a FOV issue? How do i increase it if its the case? Even the shortest answer is welcome
I have a rig with two bs200i shakers mounted directly under the seat, and 3 tt25 pucks mounted on the pedals. After years of Dirt2.0 i downloaded today ea WRC: game Is fun, but with my bass shakers feels like the road is flat, I still feel the terrain texture but almost 0 bumps,or anyway way flatter than on Dirt... I still have for sure to tweak things, but i feel like it's a game thing. Anyone noticed something similar?
Linux (OpenSUSE Leap 15.5)
I've installed RBR yesterday, this issue popped up. After about an hour of unsuccessful troubleshooting, the shifter magically started working, as the NGP somehow activated - shifter is a sequential bound to two buttons on my controller, through the default Options -> Controls. Today, the shifter worked absolutely flawless for about 30 minutes, when it decided it would go to bed early. Tried binding the shifter through Utils, but the sim would simply crash when shifting past the first gear - "Abnormal program termination"...
Installed RBR through RSF. Tried reinstalling NGP, even deleted physics.rbz, but to no avail. I'm so super frustrated as I don't even know how to remove NGP and use the vanilla physics in its stead; I deleted the NGP folder found in Plugins and the .dll, did the same a second time with the NGPCars folder and .dll and anything related to NGP (except the cars), somehow managed to revert to a broken version of the base game.
Any help is appreciated. And yes, the game is saved outside of the default C:/ drive.
Just posting this here in case anyone like me installs Richard Burns Rally and the RallySimFans (RSF/Hungarian plugin) and wonders why their game barely manages to get more than a few FPS from the outset.
I own a Corsair K83 keyboard (link for reference) and I spent ages trying to work out why RBR was unplayable. It turns out it's all thanks to the wireless dongle for the Corsair K83.
The minute you disconnect it from your PC, it runs perfectly fine. No problem at all running the keyboard via USB and its charging cable and I suppose you could run it via Bluetooth if you wanted to but I've not tried.
Happy rallying everyone and I hope this helps others who had this problem and couldn't find the definitive answer online!
I recently got a new pc and have lost all my my assetto corsa mods. I was wondering if anyone had the digital motorsport MK2 escort and Mondello park package they wouldn’t mind putting in a zip folder so I can download it as it’s no longer available on their website 😁
Hello,
I recently bought WRC 10 and tried to play it but the wheel is not responsive at all, in all the games I played if I moved the wheel 1 cm then in the game the wheel would move too.
In this game I can barely drive 5 meters without losing control of the car since the wheel doesnt communicate well with my wheel. Some people said on reddit to turn off the wheel shown in the car but its the same, the car is undrivable.
I saw alot of people on youtube playing fine with this type of wheel so what settings tou recommend for this game? in all other games the wheel works fine.
There is a lot of stages in RBR but there is no croatia rally stages, so thats why I'm asking which stage is the one thats similar to the Croatia Rally Powerstage.
I am playing on Keyboard and my problem is that the wheels always lockup when braking which makes it unplayable for me. Last time I had this game installed I adjusted the Filter settings perfectly for my taste, but now I`m adjusting for over an hour now and I don`t see any differences. I want to be able to brake while turning without locking up my wheels. Sort of what ABS looks like in other racing games. Does anybody have an Idea? Thx in advance
I'm thinking of getting a VR headset for simrallying (RBR RSF 99% of the time, and maybe some AC or codemasters' games). I have spotted a second hand Reverb G2 for around €200, but I'm also considering a brand new Quest 2 for €250 and maybe a Quest 3 for €550. I know the extra price for the Quest 3 is supposed to be more than worth it, but I'm not sure, as it feels like a big investment for it being my first time in VR.
I'm also concerned about paying an extra for things that I don't need like mixed reality cameras, extra computing power in the headset or independent controllers. Do you have any recommendations in mind?
Thanks!
I'm relatively new to RSF RBR but have noticed that when I go into a Practice session, I get a communications error that ends up displaying some HTML code. Selecting the Back and Retry option allows the stage to load.
For reference, I've enabled the auto-login option and am able to see online rallies.
Any ideas on what's causing this error?
When i try to launch rallysimfan rbr i get a text that says : rallysimsfans plugin is only compatible with the sse version of rbr. What do i do?
Is there a way to get x rotation input for the left stick as I can only get it with the right.
When I play DirtRally2.0 with my Reverb G2 & OpenXR Toolkit, at the beginning of every stage I get a black square in front of me that fades out after like 1s.
What is this? Can this be avoided?

32GB RAM
I play mostly DIrtRally2.0 via OpenXR on my Reverb G2 (recently upgraded from Valve Index)
Since I need more GPU power, I am looking to upgrade, maybe to a 7900 XTX?
Is this a good idea or are there any known issues?
I literally got blisters driving a few days in some F2 kit cars made by Kronos Simracing (need to buy some gloves). I think I pulled a muscle in my forearm too, haha
I'm guessing they just didn't model the steering forces and it's going with default (maximum?) or something? This is on tarmac.
Hi, i just wanted to ask if anybody knows where are player save files stored, because i just downloaded one and i dont know where to put it.
