Im living in Echo Park & I’ve been wanting to start a dart team to participate in a casual dart league. I have my teammates all set, we are just looking other teams to play against/other people interested in starting teams.

All the leagues I’ve found in LA are pretty dead serious, I’m just a twenty three year old who likes beer & darts. Does anyone know of any pre-existing casual dart clubs on the east side? Any silverlake/echo park/highland park/los feliz etc dart enthusiasts who would be interested in starting a league?

I was diagnosed with ADHD 10 years ago. I recently moved to Silverlake and tried to get my Adderall refilled. The doctor wouldn’t do it because my initial diagnosis was from a psychologist, not a psychiatrist. I showed the doctor the ten pages of testing I did, and the years of medical records showing I get it refilled every month.

If anyone has a family medicine or primary care doctor that they can recommend who is chill about refilling Adderall with proof of medical history. I will be eternally grateful. I can show medical records showing continuous monthly refills from old doctor.

Curious at the moment, if anyone knows of any good rentals, apartments, rooms, or even studios that are looking to be rented out in this area! Hi everyone! I just recently moved to Silver Lake, and I am so lost about street sweeping … my neighborhood sign says Fridays 12-2, but online it says every other Thursday from 12-2… I’ve never actually seen the street sweepers come by, nor have I seen people move their cars. Do they actually come by?? thank you!

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council and Silver Lake Improvement Association, are working with Council District 13 (Hugo Soto-Martinez) to get park improvements to an active park space at Del Monte Dr. and Vendome St. We are proposing a play space for kids, bench seating or picnic tables.

To move forward, we've been asked to gather community support to confirm interest in the project.

We’re currently recruiting adolescents (14-21yo) who are planning to start antidepressants prescribed by their providers for our 18-month paid study on mood and brain development!

• Two MRI brain scans (these are the only in-person visits) 
• Compensation up to $1200! Plus reimbursement for all parking and transportation

• Ages 14 and 21 years old with no braces or non-removable piercings 
• Experiencing sad moods, irritability, or a lack of interest in activities recently
