Canada, British Columbia. I have been watching a large patch of alder woodchips that I water fermentation sterilized a few years ago waiting for something exciting to happen (other than the cool birds nest fungus that covers most of it in the spring). Last weekend I noticed this flush, which was pretty far gone by the time i got there, and was hoping for a second opinion.

I noticed these yesterday in my chamomile sprout pot. I think they might be Gymnopilus luteofolius but want others opinions because if they are I want to eat them. But definitely don’t wanna go just off of my own opinion alone. I am in nsw Australia, it is currently spring but these did grow inside my house
