I would be paying SGD $912.37 (converted from RMB 4850.45) for a 512GB Oppo Find X8 if I get it delivered to HK. Just wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost if I were to pick it up in-person in Shenzhen? Would it just be the RRP? AFAIK the RRP is RMB4699.

Based on these numbers, I should just buy it in-store?

• Are there promos or surcharges in-store?
• Would there be any possible stock issues? (ok probably something no one could answer...)
• Should I purchase from Oppo China directly, or from another retailer?
• Any restrictions on foreigners purchasing in-store?
• Presume they wouldn't accept foreign Credit Cards, and I'd have to pay with AliPay/WeChat Pay?

Context: I do not live in HK nor China. I am travelling to HK for about 5 days in about 2 weeks, and plan to make a day trip to Shenzhen on one of those days.

As title. Now that I got my non-Chinese travel permit, crossing the boundary is a lot less hassle and faster (now if only I can figure out how to register for e-channel for an even better experience). Looking forward to spending most of my weekends in Shenzhen with my new found freedom and looking for hotel recommendations around the HK$500 to $1,000 per night range in Shenzhen. Open to staying at different districts to explore the city fully.

Would prefer recommendations from people who have stayed in the hotels rather than passer by recommendations.

Hi guys. Has anyone here worked at (深圳云顶学校) Shenzhen Yunding School in Futian? If so, what is your experience with it? Would you recommend working there with only 3k housing allowance? The salary is supposedly between 22 and 28k depending on experience. Hours seem decent, about 20 teaching hours/week and the rest is prep time.
