I'm rewatching season 3 episode 4 where the kids get taken by DFS, i swear to god i remember that Debbie was put in a sort of a child labour sweat shop while Carl called Lip and Ian to loot the gay couples but when i watch the next episode 5 "Sins of my caretaker", everything is fine with the kids back at home and everything.
Can we say that frank was already dead when he saw his house, remembering the first episode, when he was “at spirit” at the alibi for mickey’s and ian’s party ? like, he was with them in spirit ? When Liam looked back to his stool it was so sad, and like Liam somehow knew.
she slept her way into financial advice to purchase a building which she was definitely NOT qualified to run, gets bought out for double her investment which is the only smart decision ive seen her make in the show, she couldve taken that and just sat on it, put it in a roth and retired early. Instead, she buys a building just to sell for the amount she put in to Max, on top of that, she invested 100k into that project which she took an early payout on when it probably wouldve made her a lot more than her original investment which is literally all she got, her original investment. After she gets it she acts like she can travel the world with 100k, which would NEVER happen with the full 100k, she then decides to make a top tier dumb female move to give an irresponsible teenage mom 50k, not even considering 😭😭😭 bro NOT EVEN CONSIDERING capital gain tax on 100k would have left her with 15k left over, minus the court fees she payed for the fine from punching the lady, attorney costs and room and board to wherever she went, by my math would leave her with a few thousand. In conclusion, if any of this was real shed either be dead broke or back home in a about a month or two, but she IS Fiona so odds are she just smashed any dude who buys her a drink
Honestly fuck grandpa Bill. He all of a sudden gave a shit about his daughter once she died? If he really gave a shit about his daughter he wouldn’t have deserted his own grandchildren just like his daughter did. She was a junkie and a dead beat mom. Why would he expect the kids to give her a formal funeral? If I were one of the Gallagher child, she wouldn’t have deserved a funeral at all which Fiona intended in the first place. She was a terrible mother who put all responsibility on her eldest who gave up their life for their siblings even though they didn’t have a choice. When Debbie shows Fiona cards Monica wrote for their birthday I say FUCK THAT! Debbie says “always thinking of us right?” Then why wasn’t she there? Grandpa Bill can fuck off and accept his daughter was a shitty mother who didn’t deserve her kids respect and honestly love. SORRY BOLD OPINION but it’s hard to show sympathy for a person who barely showed empathy for their own blood. Mental illness or not, I believe she has the chance to be there for her children NO MATTER WHAT.
I respect people creating music, but like ok we get it, youre south side, then they play this very generic "rap" music in every scene where "shits goin down". It's just so stereotypical. Even when the show first came out, I was thinking how cheesy it sounded.
I mean in more intense scenes I loved the song choice, thats how I started hearing Laura Mvula, but idk, it just seems very much like generic rap shii, but I get how they didn't want to copy right infrignement, but damn!
I’m in season 7 right now, and so far I can still say I like the first couple seasons the best of all, although I love the show as a whole. I really loved the way the Gallagher family worked together in the first few seasons and it was a big team effort in their family to protect each other. I still really like watching the characters change and become their own people, but I think I’ll always find that early family dynamic the best of all. I’m curious to hear what everyone else thinks!
AHOY MATEY, popcorn SHRIMP is BACK ugh this woman makes my skin crawl and i forget about her every time until i rewatch Shameless (currently doing this lmao) this woman is NASTY. and poor Carl! lol!
So this is was my first watch and just finished the last episode and hour ago I was utterly disappointed with how ambiguous everything was. I dont know if they were planning for another season after this or not but the last episode opened up more storylines than putting a close to the existing ones . Will lip give the baby to ian and mickey? are they gonna get it aborted or will they keep it ? Tish was probably pregnant with Carls baby what will they do about? Will they actually sell the house? Does lip start trading? After watching 11 seasons you'd expect some sort of comfort atleast having a vague idea where all the characters are headed but it was miserable imo
So this is my first watch through of Shameless, I am on Season 7 I believe. Earlier in the season or maybe last, Frank bricks the rest of the family out of the upstairs. He then enters the house with Delores or Liam through going through the vacant house next door between Kev & V’s place and the Gallaghers, and climbing over a ladder between the windows.
I don’t get why he didn’t just stay in the vacant house? I realize most of his decisions are not logical and he has a “this is my house” mentality lol
But I am surprised he never considers (so far) staying in that house during the many times he gets kicked out
Season 1 kev would be like "Boyyyyyy What thee heellll, oh my god noo waaee-ae-ayyyy"
A while ago I saw a “Mickey Quote ABC” that was never completed. And I have issues with leaving things incomplete, so if it’s allowed I would like to start one. I can’t find the original but if someone finds it let me know so I can give credit.
So without further ado…Mickey’s A quotes
Hii! So I got bored today and I decided to research the outfits that the Gallaghers/the whole cast wore, and i love this debbie look so much so I’m curious on everyone else’s favourite outfit, idm any characters I’m just curious :)
She started working there because Svetlana took the Alibi, but it doesn't make sense that she doesn't have a uniform like the others. Unless it was only for a couple days?
okay so this is the ep where carl goes and picks up plan B and takes it to that girl, tish, who he slept with from the furniture store. back when they slept together he kept insisting on wearing a condom and she just kept refusing, saying ‘no, i prefer without it’ and hops on before he gets a chance to use the condom, and just tells him he can pull out and its just as effective. then later he’s talking to his family and shares that she didnt actually let him pull out and now he’s stressed, and his family is like dude thats RAPE. so, carl is spiraling and thinking about the possibility he got baby trapped by some girl he just met, and goes to pick up plan b. he shows up at her job and then is like ‘take this or im reporting you for rape.’ the the girl goes off on a whole tangent about how shes allergic to latex and shes on the pill and she doesnt need a ‘rookie cop taking care of her’. but like. why wouldnt she tell him about the allergy and birth control when they had sex ????? it was still not consensual and upsetting for him regardless of what information she secretly had about why she did it that way???? this show handles consent in an absolutely atrocious way and it always makes me cringe so hard
is funny and i need a compilation of it

i feel like everyone shits on fiona for so many things but the reason why is because shes was the glue of the family so whenever she messed up a little bit it would affect everyone and everything. and also i hate when people say shes selfish for leaving when she took on the role of legal gaurdian. yes thats true BUT she only was responsible for them until they were 18!! everyone (except liam) was over 18 and responsible for themselves. and yes i agree she should have taken liam and that was a shitty thing to leave him like that but i hate when people only focus on the shitty things that fiona does. that’s literally what this whole show is! people doing shitty things. but they also do good things but everyone just forgets about that.
Best part of the Mickey/Ian/Svetlana dynamic was Svetlana referring to Ian as “orange boy”
The professor guy literally predictted his enitre fate and read him like an open book yet he never does listen. Ruined every chances he got
I’ve been watching the show with my partner and we both love the montage with Aunt Ginger while I Only Wanna Be With You by Me First and The Gimme Gimmes plays.
Just started watching the show a few weeks ago, and currently working my way through season 6, and I can't help but notice - everyone is constantly eating eggs. Scrambled, raw, in a glass of beer...
Is this a running gag of some sort?
I'm rewatchng the series for the millionth time, and Ford just reminds me of a potential cult leader.
Idk some other little scenes I can't think of right now. I think it would of been interesting if they did a cult story line for Ford
Vee was annoying. Downvote me if y’all want idc, but she was annoying to me. Whenever her and Lana got into a relationship and she was just blindly listening to everything she said and acted different towards Fiona. Yes, the things Lana did for them was beneficial, but it’s like since they were actually married Vee just went w everything Lana said against Kevin, unless it didn’t benefit her. Like when she got mad at Kevin for helping Fiona w the laundry mat (which was understandable since they were still friends) but didn’t mind Lana selling Kev’s van or legally adopting THEIR kids. She only started going against Lana after she got them to sign over the bar. It’s like they made Vee out to be the smart one out of her and Kev, but had her falling for all of Lanas tricks.
