Dropped the game a few years back as I lost interest in the story when they decided to move away from the original cast. I know the story has ended but I am curious if there was any closure for the original cast apart from Arisa? Might just play it again to see the ending
I wanted to ask for good shadowverse gift recommendations? My boyfriend loves the game and I wanted to surprise him with like one of the newer decks or a shadowerse related gift but I am really struggling to understand what cards to buy etc. He thinks I don’t listen to him LOL but I think he’s building a dragoncraft, runecraft, and havencraft deck? So what would y’all want your partners to get for you? Or any advice?
While the Vol 2 had already changed before, for whatever reasons, the Throwback Rotation stats changes also applies in Hero Battle Cup. Normally, Special Cups shouldn't apply the stats changes, and it only change during that time's Cup timeline respectively. There's only 2 cards that got reverted for Fleauesse. Ralmia, Sonic Racer and Artifact Scan. Ralmia, Sonic Racer got un-buff to just only Machina (no longer Artifact) while Artifact Scan got un-nerf from 1 to 0 cost. While Artifact Scan de-nerf sounds great, my opinion for Ralmia un-buff is kinda detrimental for Fleauesse's deck. The rest of the characters don't have any Rotation changes luckily. I don't know if Cygames did this on purpose or they forgot. Edit: I forgot, Karula got un-buff too for Maisha side. So that's 2
New player trying to get into the hang of things, but I understand there were three options: throwback, unlimited, and custom. So how come custom is unavailable in the portal? Also why are resurgence cards banned in unlimited?
OK, so newcomer who got interested in the game after watching the anime: why is there a different between some of the cards skills and the ones online? Even weirder is that some cards do have the same skill, while others haven't been released yet. If the anime is to promote the game, then shouldn't the skills be as accurate as possible, and also aligns with new releases?
Has the new game, which was planned for the beginning of the year and then postponed until 2025, been abandoned? I can't find any information
Hello folks. This is a n00b experiencing the Shadowverse storyline for the first time. The Invasion of the Worldreaver storyline caused me some serious difficulty, as I end up losing three matches, with two of them from Belphomet's second match due to serious gameplay and deckbuilding flaws on my end. Below was my experience in playing the Invasion of the Worldreaver storyline:
I create this Forestcraft build for the third part and clear it without too much trouble. I buy a Roar of the Godwyrm pack, which contain a Wayfaring Goblin and a gold Tera Finis. I clear the fourth and fifth parts with the Swordcraft build, and buy another 2 Roar of the Godwyrm packs, which give me a gold Tylle, Dimension Observer. Next, I use the Havencraft build for the sixth part but lose due to the Enforcer overwhelming me with Mechastaff Sorcerer and Magitech Golem triggers.
I begin cashing in my login rewards by redeeming the three Throwback Rotation tickets and get a gold princess Knight, a gold Mythcleaver, a Deepwood Wolf, a Hierophant’s Implements, and a legendary Dionne, Dancing Blade from the resulting packs. I then clear the Round 12 puzzles and buy 6 Roar of the Godwyrm packs, which give me a gold Steeled Luminous Knight, a gold Norn, Arbiter of Worlds, and a gold Swiftspeed Quickblader, In the Swordcraft build, I replace the Radical Gunslinger, Seeker of Love, and Athena, Divine Shield with the Dionne, Dancing Blade, Swiftspeed Quickblader, and Steeled Luminous Knight. Next, I take the updated Swordcraft build against Eris on Elite 2 Difficulty and win the match. I then buy 2 more Roar of the Godwyrm packs and get a gold Craig, Mysterian Chanter. Finally, I replace the Holylight Convert, Fount of Angels, Asuka & Shori, Twins, and Lorena, Iron-Willed Priest with the Princess Knight, 2 Zlatorog, and a Hierophant’s Implements in the Havencraft build. I repeat the sixth part with the Havencraft build and barely win this time after being able to make it to turn 10 after the Magitech Golem wiped out my board and I manage to get an Invocation trigger of Gilnelise, Ravenous Craving. I buy one more Roar of the Godwyrm pack, and get a legendary Masamune, One-Eyed Dragon and a gold Whirlwind Assault. After replacing the Loyal Sea Serpent in my Dragoncraft build with Masamune, One-Eyed Dragon, I then use the modified Dragoncraft build to finish the seventh part. The rewards provide me with a Throwback Rotation pack as well as enough rupies to buy another Roar of the Godwyrm pack. The two packs gave nothing notable, so I next use the Swordcraft build for the eleventh and twelfth parts. I clear the eleventh part without too many issues but lose the twelfth part's match because I did not consider Worldreaver’s Malice’s “1 damage to all enemy followers” trigger, saw Belphomet summoning a fused Natur Al’machinus, and misread my Swiftspeed Quickblader’s abilities.
I once again cash in my login rewards by clearing the Round 13 puzzles, redeeming the Throwback Rotation ticket, and buying 2 Roar of the Godwyrm packs. I unfortunately get nothing good, so I face off against Yuwan on Elite 2 Difficulty with the Swordcraft build and win the match. I buy 2 more Roar of the Godwyrm packs, and get a gold Tylle, Dimension Observer from them. In the Runecraft build, I replace the Glistering Angel, Asuka & Shiori, Twins, and Aethereal Golem with the Princess Knight, Kyoka, Prize Pupil, and Badb Catha, Trine Goddess. Then, I take the modified Runecraft build in the twelfth part and lose again due to being screwed in tempo and misunderstanding the exact mechanics between Earth Rite and Stack under certain scenarios.
I clear the Round 14 puzzles, and bring the Swordcraft build against Arisa on Elite 3 Difficulty and win the match. I then buy another Roar of the Godwyrm pack and get a Wayfaring Goblin, so I use my last rupies to buy a Verdant Conflict pack in search of 2 copies of Snneeak Attack! for the Summit Havencraft build. The pack did not give any such copies, but instead provided a gold Fighting Jiangshi, a gold Marion, Elegant Dragonnewt, and a legendary Wish Wielder. After two days of considerations, I create this shoddily made Artifact Portalcraft build and run it in the twelfth part. This time, I win the match thanks to a timely trigger from Iceschillendrig, Gilded Autocrat’s Magitrain, and an invocation trigger from Gilnelise, Ravenous Craving. After completing the storyline, I buy another Verdant Conflict pack, which gives me nothing significant.
After checking my inventory again, which contains these legendary and gold cards, I decide to begin the Fate’s Trigger chapters with the Bunny and Baron’s storyline with this Swordcraft build. I will then do Maiser and Selena’s storylines next, the order of which depends on what my future pulls are. After that, I will take on Illganeau’s storyline.
With the Invasion of the Worldreaver storyline complete, I believe that the storyline did enough to conclude it on an okay note. I thought the transformations were neat, although it was not too clear what triggered Urias’ transformation when the other seven characters had clearer trigger points. The cliffhanger to the next world was better than the one used to introduce the Gears of Rebellion storyline. The battles definitely cranked up to the harder difficulty level. No longer can you squeak around with half-assed builds, even if you have perfect knowledge of gameplay mechanics. I definitely felt that a stronger consistency to deckbuilding themes is needed by the time you face Belphomet for the second time.
Thank you for reading this post. My next post will be made when I finish the Fate’s Trigger storylines.

I remember back when hero battle was released people were already min/maxing nearly every single matchup and mulligan to achieve lethal by turn 8. Matchups were often decided as early as turn 5, 6 or 7 if a faster hero was played. Nowadays in this grand prix, I have had so many matchups that had lasted to the point where both players have failed their lethal setups and their decks ceasing to function normally. People seem to care a lot more about having a big board compared to before. Qualities of decks that had never seriously mattered before, are starting to seriously matter, like the victorious blader body, ultimate bahumut invoke, relying solely on absolute modesty's evo effect for lethal, Zeus being played at full cost, how well the deck functions past their lethal turns, etc. I understand that nerfing some powerhouse heroes is going to slow down the format, but bunny didn't change and I keep seeing players failing to both find a single Erika to otk with, and failing bunny's tempo game. Why did the skill level of the Shadowverse playerbase change so drastically?
hi all, returning player here. i wanted to play through a bunch of the story that i missed, but noticed that some of my decks are no longer valid for play. for example, my old elana haven deck is perfectly fine for use in unlimited/solo mode, but my dark alice shadow deck has a bunch of cards in it that simply say "this card cannot be used" even though ive used them in the past.
i assume some of the more recent cards cant be used anymore? but im not sure why, or even which ones. i couldnt find anything in-game or online, so i figured id ask here. if anyone can give me more details on which cards can't be used in solo mode/unlimited, id appreciate it!
Hello there I only recently started playing the console game Champions battle and really enjoyed it and I know the TCG game for phones is scores aead in terms of content so I was looking up a bunch of the new cards and I noticed that there's like a western theme set with the legendary being Bunny and baron and I'm from the south myself and love all things Western so I would love to make a competitively viable Bunny and baron deck, preferably an agro one, but is that even possible are they even good cards I don't really have enough experience to say even after looking them up thanks in advance
The 2 main win conditions of this deck are for you overwhelm your opponent with a growing board, or to otk your opponent with a kagemitsu evolve + Regal Wildcat combo.
Alternate win conditions against other decks:
Item shop runecraft: destroying arcane item shop with resolve of the fallen. Spam so many massive boards that your opponent runs out of cards to play. Your opponent will be playing a lot of cards to control your board, so being as oppressive as possible with it is the most accessible way to delay your death.
Shadowcraft: Focus your efforts towards attacking the enemy leader in the late game. You cannot win the war of attrition. By turn 8 or 9, shadowcraft will normally be summoning too many big followers for you to reasonably contest.
Control Havencraft: if flooding the board doesn't work, survive till the Zelgenia invoke.
Elana Havencraft: Use Resolve of The Fallen to destroy Elana's Prayer. The deck is just a sitting duck without it.
hi, i'm new in this game. I want to know if exist a web like limitlesstcg for pokemon pocket that have tournament everyday for this game
In common usage, salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride and missed lethals. When used in food or decks, especially in granulated smorc form, it is more formally called rager salt. In the form of a natural crystalline mineral, salt is also known as rock salt or topdeckers.
Use this thread to find other players to match with for missions.
Each Shadowverse account can earn 100 rupies for each different person you play a match with, up to 20 unique players / 2000 rupies. You can check your progress on this in the Missions menu, under the Achievements tab.
Don't concede matches if the quest states "without quitting" or they won't count towards any missions. Remember to mention if you're passing or the format you're playing if relevant.
An alternative to this thread is the #private-match channel in our Discord Server.
I'm putting this out here in case anyone runs into my predicament. Shadowverse doesn't actually let you change your installation directory, so you need to move the game files yourself and use a symlink. Unfortunately the information on the internet for the MacOS directory is outdated.
Game files used to be located in:
~/Library/Caches/unity.Cygames.Shadowverse
Up to date directory is:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/unity.cygames.shadowverse
not to be mistaken with the system library folder:
/Library/Application Support
the user library folder by default will not be visible so you need to type it by hand. Open finder then press command shift g to get there
OR
command j at your home (/Users/yourusername at Macintosh HD drive) folder then tick 'show library'
Move your game data to your desired place, then in order to symlink, open terminal and input (You can drag the unity.cygames.shadowverse folder at its new location from Finder):
sudo ln -s NewLocation /Users/yourusername/Library/Application\ Support
You can also move the app from your steamapps directory to the one on your external drive if you use one, but the actual binary is negligible in size. I moved it regardless so that I don't accidentally open the game and it doesn't try to reinstall the game.
Its not losing and its not playing unlimited or any certain deck for me like the people are about to twist my words and throw things out of proportion and say thats what im trying to say(especially in this community).... Its the fact that they took the strategy aspect out of the game and it takes zero effort to win. Its now play the most OP card you can find competition and thats all. Yes i am aware that every card game you look for the OP cards, but in most of them there's also strategy involved in order to even get that card onto the board and strategy on your opponents part to prevent it. In this game its just "oh its turn 5 play the card. 20 direct damage in 1 turn and not many ways for your opponent to stop it except for luck" thats not strategy at all!
I'm sitting here thinking about the WB delay, and I'm just...sad.
Shadowverse has never been that popular in the West, but it feels with the WB delay, any momentum was lost. During the card game boom of 2010s, "Anime Hearthstone" wasn't enough to bring in a massive playerbase, so what hope do we have so many years later? I know SV is still big in Japan, not worried about that, but goddamnit am I sad thinking about how likely it'll be a flop in the West.
Games like Marvel Snap and Pokemon Pocket showed that there is space for a new card game on the market, but they have completely different, snappy gameplay. Will Worlds Beyond have any chance of surviving with its "oldschool" approach?
Does anyone have the Switch version and do you know if it’s possible to change the text and voice acting to Japanese? Thanks in advance.
Hello folks. This is a n00b experiencing the Shadowverse storyline for the first time. As luck would have it, I actually manage to finish the Seeds of Conflict: Harrowing storyline without any losses. Below are the details:
I use this Forestcraft build for the fourth part, and manage to clear it without any troubles. The fifth part was cleared with the Axeman Swordcraft build, despite a few gameplay mistakes on my end for that corresponding match. After that, I finish the sixth part with the Dragoncraft build, and buy 2 Roar of the Godwyrm packs, which give me a gold Steeled Luminous Knight and a gold Deathly Tyrant’s Feast. In my Swordcraft build, I replace the 2 Amerro, Spear Knights with a Radical Gunslinger and the Steeled Luminous Knight. Next, I replace the Brave Goblin with a Wayfaring Goblin and the Four-Pillar Tortoise for a Zlatorog in my Havencraft build. I clear the seventh part with my modified Havencraft build, and buy another Roar of the Godwyrm pack, which gives me a legendary Badb Catha, Trine Goddess. I replace the Advent Lord with the Badb Catha, Trine Goddess in my Swordcraft build, and I easily clear the rest of the storyline with the updated Swordcraft build. Finally, I buy another Roar of the Godwyrm pack that contains a gold Charon, Stygian Demise.
After taking a look at my inventory, which currently contains these legendary cards and gold cards, I decide to go with these builds for the next storyline, with the order of preference going from top to bottom:
Now that I have finished The Seeds of Conflict: Harrowing storyline, I believe that the entire Naterra storyline was too overdone in order for me to really enjoy it. It was definitely below the Gears of Rebellion and Guild War storyline, and the battles were totally easy. Even if you make stupid mistakes in the matches, the storyline should be no trouble to complete at all with any halfway decent deckbuilding skill.
Thank you for reading this post. My next post will be made when I finish the Invasion of the Worldreaver storyline.

So basically, since I'm not competitive, I'm just playing the story mode of Shadowverse and was wondering if the default decks they provide suffice to beat the story mode or if I have to get into Deck building?
Also, is the story worth it? The only mobile game I'm actually invested in is Nikke Goddess of Victory, has a lot of fanservice but an amazing story/lore too. Iirc in Shadowverse, the story is different based on which chatacter you play. I chose Arisa because the whole Losaria plotline not sure if that has a good ending, lol.
So, recently I have been playing Shadowverse: Champion's Battle. And I am still fairly early into the game, I am just now in Chapter 4. I do not know if this is the correct Sub to put this, and if not I apologize. But I need to know.
I have been enjoying the Havencraft deck I put together, as I love anime nuns and such, however it seems a tad slow and can brick somewhat easily, depending if I draw any of the really high value cards early on.
This is my current deck list:
So, I know that this deck seems a bit slapped together, but as I said I have a one track mind when it comes to cute nuns and girls in card games. Is there anything I can to to make this deck more consistent?
And I would like to retain the majority of nuns/female cards, even if I know that probably is just hurting the deck's performance.
