When I increase the FM from B knob to the max amount in Serum it does not modulate the frequency depth as much as I would like it to. I would prefer the depth of frequency modulation to be a few octaves more than what it currently is. Does anyone know of any techniques that can have a greater FM depth than what seems to be the default in Serum?
Anyone know of any Serum skins that look similar to these two plugin UI's? Or if there is anyone who is will to make one xP
I love this old school late 90s - early 2000s type of U
I'm recreating a song that uses a brassy synth, and it sounds beautiful. I've got the sound design down pretty good, but in one part of the melody, the synth glides up a couple of notes over maybe a second, then a little bit later it sort of flickers up a whole step but stays on the same note. I don't know how to change how long it takes to move to a different note without cloning the instrument and using it separately, only adjusting the portamento.
I know this is possible in FL Studio with stock synths by creating a "glide note" or whatever it's called, but it doesn't work with Serum. Does anybody have any help?
I was wondering if anyone knew how to recreate that saw lead in the beginning of the song? I think it’s def a saw wave with maybe a phaser? Or distortion? I could be wrong but I just wanted some pointers! https://youtu.be/HVcorRT0SMY?si=DUfAduReatsau5be it’s what starts off the song and ends at about 0:36 and then I think it picks back up again at around 0:44
I'm struggling to recreate this, I think it's a sine with distortion but I'm not sure. I'm a couple days in and tired of guessing.
Hello! I'm rather new to sound design and while I do feel that this particular sound might be rather easy to a professional or someone who might be in the game a lot longer than I have been, I'm having a hard time... So I was wondering if maybe any of you would be willing (if you're able) to break it down for me? It's basically the sound that starts off the song and plays throughout the opening! It's really pretty and I'd love to recreate this! Thank you so much in advance! https://youtu.be/S6xlBknrXHY?si=_AusFCk4jE5okWOl
i am reading manual right now, and its like 30% of this list are not described. I would like to know where i can get info about Set Spectra, phases, blur, subtarct. Thank u
Hey y’all, I ran into an issue when trying to create a resonator using a filter within Serum FX with the Audio In function. I know that in Ableton you can just route the MIDI signal into an audio track and have the plug-ins such as Serum FX on the audio track read it, but I can’t seem to get it to work on Logic, and I have no idea how to do it.
Anyone have advice, solutions, or alternatives to this?
I want to get more precise than the 4×4 grid on the the note # source curve. For example, if I need to make a node's x coordinate correspond exactly to D#4, and another node's x coordinate correspond exactly to A#5, how would I do that?
I have heard this type of synth a lot of times, but I can never seem to get it right. I would say it's pretty simple too so Im not sure why I am having a hard time recreating it, I am newer to serum. But if you listen to this song (great song btw) it's the background chords that Im hearing the synth, it's very subtle. It's super soft and a little detuned/crunchy, I have tried re creating it but I am struggling to make something that sounds as soft and subtle as this without it sounding too muddy. I also can't find any videos of people making something like this even though I would think there would be a bunch. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoYf7wiZdTo&t=63s
How would I make the bass and main synth with Serum. I want something very similar, but not necessarily identical.
Heres. Here's Youtube link...

TIA 😊
If it launch those people who have official license can upgrade to 2.0 or want to buy again..!
The synth I'm trying to recreate is at 1:08
pls i neeeed to know if i can
I'm looking for the best solution to sync Serum presets across multiple Macs. I work extensively in two different studios, and it would be great if the presets I save on one Mac automatically sync with the other. Any recommendations?

Thank you!
In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kqnsoY94L8 at 3:11 there is a synth sound that gives a sweeping sound. I've been trying to recreate that sound in serum exactly how I hear it but I just can't (I'm trying to learn how to remake different synths). Could somebody please make it and send screenshots or send the serum preset so that I can see what I missed out on? Thanks.
Hey, how can I create some pads like these? My pads ALWAYS look so muffled, and theirs are kind of wide and beautifuly mixed, I really tried everything here. I'm used to Serum and Vital.
Would love some chord tips as well, please.
i might just be stupid but how does the serum demo work.
Is it like fl studio where u can have it forever but it restricted or is it that u can have it for a period of time but the u need to pay, i was just wondering.
the main thing i was wondering is if have to pay any money/fees if i use the demo for long enough (like a trail period on a streaming site for ex)
would be happy with any feedback
A little background about me: I've been doing this for about a year now and want to be able to make any sound I want. I've been practicing for a couple of weeks but I'm far, far from being where I want to be.
I like to pick a preset and try to recreate it. I think it would be fun and challenging to do this with someone, see who gets closer. Help each other and challenge each other in that regard.
It's something I'd want to do often! If you're interested, shoot me a DM and I'll give you my Discord.
Hey! So ive been learning serum for the past week, and I have some questions about LFOs and Envelopes. I would appreciate any knowledge!
Why would I use an envelope if I can control basically everything from an LFO?
How do I decide what to assign LFOs and Envelopes to? Say, why would I assign an envelope to the cutoff filter instead of the resonance filter?
How does combining envelopes actually work? Is it like stacking them? Will all envelopes always refer bacl to Env 1?
Anyway thanks in advance!
Yo guys, Does anyone has/know a good preset bank for Trap beats, for free? I would appreciate help, Thank you!✌️👍
