Monday night, 11/ 25, a little after 8:30pm there was a crazy loud boom. I was walking around my property with my dogs and it scared both of them. I'm on Burnside near Barnett Valley. I know this was heard all over, but does anyone know what it was??
Hannah Kobayashi went missing in LA on 11/11/24 days after missing her connecting flight from Hawaii to NY. Not long before her disappearance she sent many alarming text messages to friends and family about feeling unsafe, having her identity stolen, and being scammed of all her money. One of her messages stated she wanted to visit the Redwoods and look for work in the area. If Hannah did decide to go through with this plan, it's possible she is in Sonoma County looking for work. Hannah was last seen departing the Metro Pico Station with an unknown male on Monday 11/11 at 10:03PM and appeared to be in danger.
If you see Hannah please call 911 along with the numbers on the flyer.
If you want to learn more about Hannah’s case there is a Facebook group run by her family with the latest updates.
A flood watch been issued so be ready in areas as travel can be restricted due to flooding
Has anyone received reiki therapy here? Anyone you can recommend? Thank you.
Moving from the East Bay and very interested in the group / coop living scene but it seems much more difficult to find in Sebastapol. Have lived with others, from 4-50 others, for 10 years. Work remotely and thrive living with others, with others as more than just roommates but having some intentionally / commitment to the community (i.e. house dinners, some shared values, etc)
Interested in living with anything from 4-20 other folks - any ideas about where to find cohousing / coop living networks? I'm aware of the few very public ones.
In the East Bay the coop scene is huge, very easy to find and learn about community houses and community living situations, ranging from highly formal to informal. Via facebook pages, websites, email list serves, craigslist, and bulletins. I've scoured these and it appears very few and far between. I understand Sebastapol is of course much smaller - but I know there must be many different coops of varying degrees of formality here in Sebastapol. Where and how should I be looking?
Describing coops generally as folks sharing a living space, spending time together in varying levels of community structure (some I've lived in are extremely structured, others very loose - open to either end of the spectrum), but looking for a bit more intentionality than just living as roommates out of necessity. Cost of living is a concern of mine that cooperative living supports with. Really value cooking dinners together, hosting events occasionally, camping trips, etc.
Thanks so much!
has anybody else seen bumper stickers/stickers around town that say this with a red green and yellow flag?? i don't know what it means, im sure nothing bad id just like to know :)
Hey y'all! I just moved from Kentucky and am in Sebastopol for a couple of months. I am interested in meeting and hanging out with other artists. Where would be the best places to do that? Thanks y'all. Peace.
Tons of cops blocking the road, Sheriff helicopter circling, fire department vehicles everywhere, traffic stopped on 116... Anyone know what's going on?

They have been quietly a hidden gem in Sebastopol, their continued success makes me very happy!
We're visiting friends in Petaluma but figured we'd do some wandering today. Anyone feel like steering us to a winery with reasonable priced wines?
