How would you guys feel about the seastead being a micronation?

As in would you want to become an independent nation someday or just never interact with politics again?

Potentially dumb question

Are we making our individual seasteads or are we going to make one big one? I should probably sleep more.

Could I make an artificial island out of trash from the Pacific garbage patch?

I plan to have it located in the middle of the garage patch so I have easy access to the materials.

Research Vessel "R/P FLIP" will be scrapped. Potential Seastead?

The Research Vessel "R/P FLIP" was taken out of commission in a year ago and is scheduled to be scrapped.

I always thought this would be the perfect vessel to build a Seastead.

Best book(s) you’ve ever read?

I’d read the Seasteading book. Every phrase rang like gold Every page was amazing and I want to read more similar or related books on this topic.

I would love to know some people's favorite books to try
Would you please recommend books about seasteading, ocean, or climate change that blew your mind

The Joe Quirk's book and other books discussed in the seasteading book club were amazing I really need more recommendations.

What are some good informative fiction/non-fiction books or even movies you'd recommend that taught you new things or you found fascinating?.

Land Based Fish Farm in Singapore might be accepting apprenticeships.

Hey everyone. Shannon from Singapore/Agrarian here.

We’ve got a land based farm in Singapore with extra beds and opportunities to learn basic marine aquaculture and permaculture principles, renewable energy and construction skills and ewaste processing in a low(relative to the US and EU) regulation environment.

No need to pay for rent. But we’re looking for apprentices to put in about 20 hours of work a week. Room includes wifi, Aircon and 3 meals a day.

What are your thoughts?
