Hello! I have introduced many cats to cats but never to a dog. My fold is 3 months old, we have had him for 5 days, and I am wondering how long it took before you guys started to introduce your kittens to dogs. Our dog is 12, still spunky, a husky mix with that loud husky bark/howl. They have been sniffing each other from under the door and Shadow (dog) barking like crazy. I brought Gordon (cat) into another room and allowed shadow to sniff around Gordon’s things to start getting used to the scent. Besides the baby gate introductions, any tips or tricks? How long did you have your cat before supervised visits/intros with dog?

Hi! I just adopted my first kitten and am learning about Scottish Folds. I wasn't aware that the breed can have health issues, and I'm concerned my kitten might have SFOCD. Her mother is a Scottish Fold, but she had an accidental litter after getting out so I’m unsure of what breed the dad is. I'm also confused about Scottish Straights—are they only the result of a Fold being bred with a British Shorthair, or can they come from any breed? The mother had six kittens, and at least two are Folds. The last two photos are of her mom and sister. Any insights would be appreciated! :)

While waiting for a neuter appointment, our new SF escaped a room in our home. They found each other 🫠. 

Now we have these angels. 🤯

(Not a breeder- very against the unethical breeding of these cats, but I had to share their cuteness- cutest kittens I’ve ever seen.)

New addition to the family 🍋 

She actually appeared in my MILs garden and they had been looking after her, but I couldn't fit all that in the title.

They were doing a great job but it wasn't getting along with the dog in the house, so I have taken her home.

She gives me house cat vibes and seems super affectionate. She is flat out on my chest as I type this.

Vet says no microchip but she has a clean bill of health. Also gave me some eyedrops.

Expanding the Facebook group search to try and find an owner. Her coat seems in such good condition I think she must have been well cared for. Not that I know what I'm talking about 

Guess we will see how it shakes out
