Scottish fold health probs
I really want to get a Scottish fold kitten but as I was about to put a deposit on one, a friend suggested a different breed because of some health issues of Scottish folds. Is it really as bad as people say? It feels like people are saying nearly all Scottish folds will suffer from cartilage or bone issues as they age. I’m also considering a British short hair. Just a lil confused. Any insight would be helpful!

Kitty PSA: Check your closets
Kitty PSA:
Poppy loves sneaking into closets when they are open for mere seconds. This photo is after finding her after being locked in there for at least an hour. She didn’t make a sound, she didn’t let me know she was in there, I didn’t see her climb in…she wasn’t even visible. She’d had a nap in there so she was happy.
I went into the closet to find something later on and Poppy surprised me with her inquisitive little face. I now look like I’m OCD checking the closets I open 3 times at least to make sure she hasn’t snuck in to one. I’d feel terrible if I left her in for a whole day.
This it the first time this has happened…
Anyhow, I figured is post this cute PSA because she’s adorable.

British Longhair with folded ears
Hi. I have a beautiful healthy British Longhair 10 week old kitten who has folded ears.
His mother was a British Longhair with folded ears, and his dad was a British Longhair with straight ears.
I am worried he will develop the cartilage problem that Scottish Folds have.
I am going to do yearly vet checks, but what are his chances of getting this painful condition?

Opinion/answer about legs.
My Scottish fold (3 months old) have weird stance he seems to have cow hocked… Im bit scared about it, is it normal for this type of breed or I should call vet ASAP.?

my dad went from pretending to hate my (our) kitten to being a full time babysitter while im on a trip
i just left a trip for a few days and asked my dad to watch my kitten while im gone. he just sent this photo of Link sleeping on his bed. hes never let any pet do that before 😭 and he's not used to feeding a cat any type of wet food but hes doing so good with keeping Link's schedule as normal as possible. he also kept up with cleaning his litter box daily & said he kept waking up throughout the night worried & had to make sure kitty is ok. my heart is full!
