Ophelia is in fact a Scottish Straight but loves to spend her day sunbathing and often checking how she looks in the mirror (her ears were only back because of a pspsps from me)
Barnaby loves me, and my kids, despises my husband. My husband did just get back from 6 month deployment so I believe that’s where the hostility is coming from towards him.
I am looking for ways to stop the hostility towards my husband and also strangers. My family visited recently and he was not friendly with them as well.
Any tips or suggestions?
She loves sitting in the kitchen keeping me company when i make breakfast and lunch
My 2 month old baby Atom keeps falling asleep in the weirdest and funniest positions and I keep taking photos, so I had to make a collage with some of them.
I keep telling myself that him sleeping with his belly exposed like this means he is feeling safe, loved and happy with us.
Happy holidays everyone! I got my fold 4weeks ago and best thing I ever did was:) Simba :)
I wanted to introduce you all to my precious little boy who will arrive here in exactly 3 weeks 🥹
Hello! I recently took in a Scottish Fold as a foster. She’s been with me for a few days now. Over the span of a few hours (4, while I was sleeping) this developed.
Her eyes had been leaking, but it seemed on-brand for her species. She’s been sleeping a LOT, but she recently came from a home where the resident cat kept attacking her, so I assumed she was catching up on rest.
I don’t have the funds for the ER vet. I found topical Terramycin on Amazon that delivers by the 5th, as well as some flushing drops.
However, I don’t want to go the wrong route if this is something more severe and not common with this species. Any insight?
I have a friend who is a vet tech who I am also going to reach out to.
We got our cat spayed like 4 weeks ago. We had to take her back in after around 10 days because she had a bump which turned into a seroma. This was because she had a bad reaction to the sutures so they had to redo the incision and remove the seroma. They fixed everything and it's been 14 days. Now we noticed a hard small straight plastic (stitch looking) string sticking out of her incision. We knew because she was messing with it and it sounded like a rubber band snapping. It doesn't look infected or oozing. Should we take her in ASAP, can we wait, what should we do? @ Share
The bigger he gets the easier it is to see his stripes 🤗 I can't believe how big he is already at 16 weeks 😬
Hi everyone! I’m not sure if this is a subreddit violation as I couldn’t find the posted rules, but please do let me know if it is!
In essence, I just got a scottish fold kitty and I’m very aware of the joint issues she could be affected by later on in her life. I want to make sure I can offer her the best care possible— so I wanted to ask if you guys have any pet insurance recommendations for scottish folds!
Ideally, this would cover treatment and/or procedures related to their genetic problems or any potential accidents. I know pet insurance can be a gamble, but I would very much appreciate some advice! Thank you all very kindly :)
If you have any advice as to BAD pet insurance, I would appreciate knowing that too!
Her left ear is starting to fold down, but her face isn’t like a Scottish fold??? I’m so confused by this cat lol. She just came home yesterday from the shelter.
