You guys really stepped up on my last request so I thought I'd try again. I volunteer with a group called Maker's Making Change. We design and build assistive devices at little to no cost to the end client. We have a number of 3D printed devices in our library.
I have 3 request from one individual in Wolseley for small printed devices. With the postal strike there's no easy way to get them to him.
Hoping someone in the neighborhood can print these for him and deliver:

If you are in the area and are willing to help out, he'd much appreciate. Just comment here before printing.
Thanks much
Marc
This is an interesting story from the beginnings of Lloydminster, SK -
What discounts have you received when haggling with a car dealership? Did you ask for a specific percentage off, or just flat out asked for a price below your budget?
What are the impressions of the small town of Milestone? People who have lived there in the past or present, what are some things you enjoyed? What are some things that turned you off? Did you commute? How was/is the drive? Ive heard stories about the water supply being... not great. Although, I believe their system has been upgraded recently. Is this true? Is the water better now then it was?
I'm looking around for a different cell phone providers and was wondering if anyone had any experience with Freedom Mobile?
I’ve been with TD Insurance for only a year but I’ve seen a 40% increase in my premiums. Before I make a bunch of phone calls has anyone else experienced this problem and where did you end up getting your insurance?
I feel like our government should look more into the living of people on disability or welfare because people that’s on these programs are struggling to keep afloat with the cost of living.
Welfare people earn only 900 dollars in a month.
While people on disability like SAID can up to 1k in a month
I myself is on disability and man without living with my family I feel like I couldn’t even be independent without them.
Cheapest apartments in my area? 700-900 dollars a month.
Now try to budget that with food, internet, entertainment, etc and you’re basically out and trying to live until the next monthly payment.
But at least with people on SAID you can earn an extra 500 dollars if you get a job to not stress about money. But if you earn anything pass 6k in a year they will literally take money off your checks.
Even on welfare if you earn anything pass 500$ in a month in a month (this isn’t yearly like SAID) and i mean anything so simply giving a person a gift of 20$ dollars would be counted towards income they would more than likely take off that money for the entire month.
And you know what’s crazy to me? My own worker didn’t even know you can earn up to 6k a year on SAID because apparently no one reads the manual so imagine now your dealing with the program that allows you to earn up to a certain amount but still take money off your checks because they only know the outdated stuff!
I heard workers still using the outdated stuff and been taking money off people checks because they didn’t know people on welfare can earn up to 500$ a month.
And that’s basically my rant on the system of things.
(Lesson here for people on SAID read the manual that gets updated here and there because they give you updated information that could be very useful for you)
No, seriously, why? A philosophical question.
I'm not from Saskatchewan and likely will never be in Saskatchewan, but I'm moving my business (in IT) from BC (where Liberals & NDP are trying to push all business except for oligopolies away from Canada) to Texas, and this got me wondering.
Why don't we have a business-friendly province (like Texas or Florida) in Canada?
Saskatchewan currently has only about 1 million in population. If it had a tax treatment like Texas, I'd gladly move to Saskatchewan with my business and create jobs there. It could be the next Texas of Canada, with economic prosperity but without guns.
EDIT: are all people in Saskatchewan this rude or is it just this sub? I just wanted to get an honest opinion but got a whole bunch of insults and "don't come here". Mods can lock this post, I guess this is my first and last experience with Saskatchewan. I'm not deleting it so that people can have an opportunity to reflect on their behavior.
I've relocated to a remote part of Saskatchewan, and I don't have a driver's license.
Needless to say, life is now very difficult. I have no easy access to groceries. The few friends I have, who do drive, are not always available.
Which is why I'm considering buying a mini ATV (125 cc) and an electric jacket. It's the next best thing to a car.
How do I immediately start driving this legally? Can I just order it and start driving? Is there some online course I can take to get a basic driver's license? I will mostly be driving on the highway and on the side of the highway (hugging the highway).
I'm not even in a position to physically go to any driving school to get a license.

With the free fall in productivity and skyrocketing prices always above any competition, is there really any other option to save Canadians from the massive impacts of when Canada Post folds under its current paradigm They went from over 60% of parcel service to under 25% now. Letter service is beyond pathetic once you leave the cities, and there is no other option due to the monopoly.
Edit: There fixed the only spelling error. Seeing responses, it looks like Canada Post needs to only focus on letters so they can serve their purpose. If I need to drive 30km to get my letters, there is a big problem being my neighbors drive 3km to the communal box that I am apparently outside of the zone on.
Hey Sask community,
I'm looking for some local perspective on potentially moving to Regina. Here's my situation:
I'm a single and successful 35-year-old male running my own online business, born and raised in Toronto and I'm currently living in a condo in Richmond Hill (North of Toronto thats fully paid for, $800k). I'm looking to make a strategic life move that checks multiple boxes - primarily finding an amazing home and potentially meeting my future wife. I'm weighing the pros and cons of relocating to Regina, and I'd love to hear some local insights.
Here's what I'm looking for:
Specifically, I'm curious about:
I'm not just looking to move - I'm looking to create a meaningful next chapter. Would love to hear from locals about the potential for building a life in Regina.
Any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful in making this potential life change. Appreciate any insights you can share!
Cheers.
