Anybody else hearing these loud booms at night. I've heard it for years.
My child is starting kindergarten at Sun Valley at the end of the month and I've had zero communication about school supplies, teacher intro sessions, anything! Can anyone help me figure out what I'm missing??

Hello everybody! My partner and I are renting a camper van from someone in San Rafael to go down to Big Sur in July. We live up in Humboldt County and will be driving down to San Rafael. There is no available parking for our car where we are renting the camper from. We will be leaving on a Sunday and returning that Thursday, does anybody have any ideas where we could pay for long term parking for 4-5 days? Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated
I'm going to be in San Rafael next week and I'll want to watch game 7 (Stanley cup final!)
Any chance of a hockey bar / sports bar in town?
Several Marin County departments are offering free, walk-up legal assistance for residents in San Rafael’s Canal Area neighborhood this month as part of their Clean Slate program, according to the county.
Is San Rafael no longer hosting Dining Under the Lights every Friday during the Summers? That event is what drew us to this town two years ago when they would shut down 4th street and host different bands.
San Rafael police said in an advisory that some people have been posing as federal law enforcement targeting pedestrians or people in their vehicles by approaching them and demanding their wallets or cash. Once the items are handed over, the thieves take off.
the ones on terra linda by scotty’s sucks as does the on san pedro by the 7-11. I’d prefer one that is clean, has staff on site, and uses cards not quarters.
Hi, does anyone live at “The Rafael apartments”? If so, what was your experience?

Hi! I'm planning to move to San Rafael soon. What is the cheapest place to buy food in the city?
I’m going to be in the San Rafael area for about six months and would like your local recommendations on places to eat and things to do.
I am familiar with the Vallejo side of the world and down in SF, but never spent much time around San Rafael.
Thanks!
Im not from around here and am in dire need😭 I just hate the clear ones so anywhere in San Rafael/corte madera that sells flavored vapes (nicotine)
I was at Pickleweed Park last week for the Dia De Los Muertos. After I left I was surprised to see some scantily dressed women walking the streets on Canal St. It was pretty obvious what they were doing. That area isnt wealthy but it doesn't strick me as poor. I guess I was more shocked than anything because I've never seen prostitutes or expected it.
Hello, all. I was born in KY and my parents moved to San Rafael, when I was still an infant. My mother and I moved back to KY when I was 8, sans the dad.
I am looking for a particular recipe that was in a cookbook, put together with a yellow slick cover and back, with orange spiral binding. The pages were mimeographed and square holes were punched along the inside edge and held together with said orange, plastic binding.
It contained many recipes from the women of San Rafael. I believe the outside cover said something along the lines of “San Rafael’s Women’s Club”, “Wive’s Club” or something of that nature.
I remember a pork chop recipe that my mother, either contributed to the cookbook or just fell in love with; the “Peach Pork Chops in Electric Skillet”.
We ate that meal often after moving back to KY and now that I am much (much) older, I would like to ask if any of y’all fellow, ol’ geezers or children of said geezers, have ever seen or have a copy of that cookbook?
I want some dang ol’ peach pork chops, like my mamma used to make!
