Hi, I'm writing a story about climate change and the hospital row's vulnerability in Manhattan. I'm hoping to talk to someone who was there during the hurricane and find out about their experience.
Does anyone know someone like that? Would appreciate any help!!!

I’m a graduate student at the University of South Florida and I’m doing a needs assessment with two of my colleagues on the perception of risk from hurricanes in coastal communities. We are all familiar with the impacts that hurricanes have on our jobs, our homes, and our community. If you’re interested in learning more about the project, we’ve created a short video that you can view here.

We need your help! As residents of coastal community, we want to learn about your personal experience with hurricanes, disaster preparation, and your perception of risk. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes. Click the link below and it will take you to the survey. Once you’re done, share the survey with your family, friends, and neighbors so that we can reach more people in our community.

Hi, I'm trying to do some field research for a horror short story that involves being trapped in an apartment complex during a violent storm. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to information about Sandy, such as how high the water flooding got, and other obstructions that could cause this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Beginning Tuesday, May 24, this major collaboration examines why three years after the storm, thousands of people are still not home — despite billions of dollars spent on recovery efforts.
