Greetings, i got a job offer that is going to require me to move to san carlos by September. Judging by the medium house hold income and the real estate value, it's probably safe to say that san carlos is safe place to live. Is it OK for me to assume san carlos is a safe place? Are there any areas that I should avoid? I'm coming from LA, I've seen it all, the only thing that bothers me is break ins and theft especially cat converter theft. i will be renting. Most likely a 1 bedroom apartment. Im 32 male, and im a homebody, other that the ocasional dinner outing don't really care if im around an active night scene, ill be happy with a local buffalo wild wings. I do work out everyday and practice mma (muy thai and boxing) im also am an active runner.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
How much do you pay for fire hazard insurance, and which carrier? CA Fair? State farm? I am planning to put an offer on a property which is in the VHFHSZ (local responsibility).
hello im new dto sa san carlos 🙂
Hello. I am considering of moving to downtown SC. Is it pretty safe in SC particularly downtown area? Is downtown SC prone to flooding? What’s the demographic in SC? Is it mostly families?

Does anyone remember that great Italian restaurant with amazing pizza? Between El Camino and Laurel. It’s now a Georgian restaurant.
Hello
Used to have a shared premium youtube tv account when all the family lived together. I happened to move out and change zipcodes and now it won't work.
Anyone local in Redwood City/ San Carlos looking to add someone to their plan?
Needs to be zipcode 94070
Thx
They pass over the downtown area every few minutes. They are large, but look different than most commercial airliners. Is this related to the conference in SF?
I only ever had the courage to trick or treat there one year, but I always look forward to hearing about it
Purely judging by taste!
I love this place, used to pick up their chicken at least once a month. eatjood.com shows out of stock for everything. Checked their instagram, no updates for month. When I call, it's direct to voicemail.
Update: seems like they might be reopening November 26th, according to Yelp. https://www.yelp.com/biz/jood-san-carlos
I'm tired of the porch theft and catalytic converter stories on Nextdoor. Anything fun from the City of Good Living? What's the statue/sculpture wearing these days?
If you have thought about adding another living space on your property now or later, come listen to a succinct presentation of the requirements, permitting, costs, the way and why nots. I’m giving the talk with our operations manager, Natalie. I was raised on the peninsula and am now a registered Architect working on the scale of residences – from remodels to new construction. We’ll be presenting in San Mateo on September 13th and a few more dates / locations throughout the peninsula. For more information and to RSVP, please go to www.catcharchitecture.com/adu-learn

Hello is this San Carlos Cebu University non official subreddit? Cause I would like to know any curriculum for AB English language and literature or any curriculum that is related in writing, English, literature please.
I would be happy if you send links about it, because I'm not sure in my end, if I found the curriculum I'm looking for or not. Please and thank you.
Loved the farmer’s market reboot today. More vendors, more people. Smooth jazz. Nice vibe. Good job San Carlos.

Hi All,
Moving from out of state and unfamiliar with internet companies for the area. Thoughts or suggestions?

So, I still lurk (but only lurk) on NextDoor and I've been seeing all these posts about blackouts, but no background info because everyone already knows the story. What's going on out there?
Hey y’all, just moved to San Carlos and trying to figure out how to hang out with people. Best idea I have right now is to go to the climbing gym in Belmont…. Was hoping there might be something like a running club, or maybe some bar events? Any suggestions welcome, thanks!
From a SMC alert: “Edgewood Road between Highway 280 and Crestview Dr is closed in both directions due to a mud slide. Please use alternate routes. No estimated time to reopen.”
Scary stuff. Really hopeful that we can get through this without mudslide damage to homes/apts.
Does anyone know if there’s an open mic night in or near San Carlos? I need to find something! I’d also be interested in community theater for adults!
