This is probably a long shot but it's worth a try anyways. I've only heard kikuo and powapowa-p (RIP) use it so far. The transitions sound pretty much the same in all three cases: rapid, percussive sweeps with a quick decay. One of those transitions kinda sounds like a radio being tuned in. Apologies from my last post, I am new to Reddit, I hope this post works the way I want to this time.

The album is 'Luxury Paradise' by vcr-classique. I have been able to find every original song on the album except for the 13th track "touch". I've been searching for it hear and there for the past year I've known of the album.

It sounds like the opening of some late 80s to 90s show or maybe some background music to the weather channel. It starts with a keyboard/piano combo, and then a awesome saxophone solo comes in playing a perfect back and forth vive between the keyboard and sax. In the chorus it introduces some more winds like trumpets and then in the 2nd verse the piano takes over for the original sax melody played in the 1st verse.

Keep in mind with vaporwave albums that the original sample is most likely a faster tempo then what the vaporwave version portrays.

I’m looking for this amazing snare roll(?) sample/loop that was used in this Electric Mantis Remix. I can’t find anything that would even remotely sound close to it.
The drum roll can be heard throughout the whole track, but there are parts of the song where the sound is easier to spot because of the phase of the arrangement. See the part between 1:20-1:22 just before the chorus drop.

So, I recently found a late 2010s fresh-ed song I last heard back in my 8th grade English class on my youtube homepage. It was sorta a nostalgia trip.
