Just thought I would try an experiment to see how many NPCs can possibly be rendered by the game engine. I did any instance of KK. I hugged the east wall to avoid aggro of majority of the kalphite marauders he spawns throughout the instance. It was kinda felt like a telos streak because you need to be tick perfect on the luring and movement abilities as a wrong surge/dive into the adds pile would ruin the instance.

It was a lot of tries until I reached the end of the instance timer. After which I killed the remaining adds and count them by how many damaged chintin I got. I died at the 11 minute mark then had to rejoin my instance from that time. Even though I didn't get a full instance, the number of marauders in that instance was exactly 100 which I do not think it is coincidence! Maybe 100 is the max number of NPCs that can be rendered on the game's memory even if I started from a longer instance timer.

Now I challenge anyone else to give this experiment a try to see how many mobs you can get on one screen to see if you get a number higher than 100. Best of Luck!

Hey, after a few months break I’ve come back to the game and decided to re comp, the issue I’m having is the last requirement for me is to unlock the music track “the deadbeats” from this years Halloween event, but with the event being over I’m unable to enter the harvest hallow. is they any other way to unlock it? Or am I locked out from comping

Has it been confirmed they are returning this year?

I’ve been trying to get back into playing the game but everytime i launch the screen gets stuck like this after pressing “play”

I’ve tried fixes ive seen on the internet like uninstalling the game and all it’s files and reinstalling it but still same problem.

I have been having a really hard time with the statue puzzle. I get them into what I think is the right position but then it turns out its not correct. I tried a few different placements and still nothing happened. Admittedly, its extra frustrating cause it seems so simple and it should be and makes me feel stupid I cant figure something seemingly so simple out.

I attached a photo to show what I mean. I also apologize for not understanding. I am on the spectrum so sometimes things are alittle difficult for me to figure out. it doesnt help ive been under stress

So I'm completely new to Rs3. I've been playing for several days and before I sink in alot of my time into it and wanted to ask if this game is dying? I'm coming from OSRS and have only played Rs3 for several days. I even met someone on reddit that helped me with my layouts and action bars since it was like navigating a UFO to my eyes. Is Rs3 worth sinking my time into? I'm genuinely curious. Thank you in advance.

So I am a bit confused. Or rather, maybe wishfully ignorant.

Am I correct in understanding that even if I currently have a fresh character on tutorial island, I cannot make them an Ironman/GIM and will need to create a new character thus paying for 2 memberships: one for my OSRS ironman and another for the RS3 ironman??

After getting invention perks and 118 necro… arch glacor hard mode is really easy now .. do I get better drops if I do kill streaks? Like does having 10-20 kill streaks give me better drops in next kill?

Opinions aside, with OSRS receiving this update, might we be expecting a similar update at some point in the near future?

Has anyone figured out how to setup the auto switching action bars? My necromancy bar wouldn't switch so I googled for an answered and tried that fix, but now none of my bars will change correctly. I can equip a bow and my bars will switch to melee abilities. I can't even get back to default settings.

So I bought a bluetooth mouse for my tablet to play RuneScape. However, I can't use the right click to open the menus like you would do on PC (or long press on mobile). Is there a way to enable this or does the mobile client not recognize a right click ?

So im on the GW2 step to get the hammer charged up for Necro upgrade. I turn off retaliate, ignore ads, kill boss with necro standing beside alter, as the death animation happens I use the hammer on the alter "energy has already left" message. I tried faster, waited a little longer, just spammed it 5 times through the death and seeing that blue energy hit the alter. Same message... do I charge it before the kill or something?

I used to play Runescape daily from 2005-2009. I had membership on the game.

I haven't played since and RS3 looks a little complicated when I log in (I'm used to the old simple style)

Is RS3 easy to get used to? Is it even worth playing again on my old account without paying for membership? (Back in the day, playing on your account again as a free playing after having membership, it felt like you couldn't really do anything. Even using the bank was limited)

I know I could start again on osrs but most of my skills were level 75+ and I remember how long it took to get there before.

Would Runescape be worth playing again?

I have an account on which I would like to stay at 0 boss and slayer kills on the beasts tab. However, the hard desert diary requires killing a dust devil.

I tried dtd on a dummy for the 15 minute timer but still got kc. Then I tried directly throwing the dart at it but also got kc. So I can only assume the darts functionality is limited to actual bosses.

This left me wondering if there is any known way of accomplishing this?

Hey all, decided to come back to Rs3 after 5-6 years because of GIM. We decided to go Comp GIM which as a result has locked us out of wildy flash events which i understood to be a great way to make some early gp.

Was wondering if anyone knew another good way to make some gp now as we want to start getting better tools and gear.

ED3 trash runs used to be one of my favorite things to do in this game -- optimizing the path/movements, hanging with friends, getting a few dungeoneering tokens from the mini bosses. All the while getting good exp rates (honestly too good). I just miss it a lot ever since it was nerfed. Any suggestions? Don't care at all about gp/hr.

I did alot of ED3 trash runs for XP/money before the nerf a while back, been looking for other methods for money and started doing Arch Glacor -
Looking for tips to improve my enrage max as above 100% it begins to get hard to just soul split/Vampyrism aura dps/face tank the damage.
I currently use ranged as my main damage type since I dont have 99 magic or necromancy with a steel titan familiar

I have been waiting to get the new book on my ereader and it seems to be impossible legally? My ereader is from kobo and although the store says it'll be available Nov 5 2024 it's not, and the Amazon store says it'll be on Kindle Nov 19, but last week it was saying it'll be on Kindle Nov 12. What's up here? When will this book actually release?

I live in Germany and have the Amazon and Kobo stores for my region fwiw. Could get a physical copy on Amazon but want to read at night + it's more expensive.
