I submitted my application at RRC and it asks you to submit an official transcript within 15 days. Do I get UofM to send over an official transcript to RRC Student Services or do I mail an official transcript to myself and then submit a photo of it to the application portal since you can only get paper copies from UofM unless sent to the institution.
Hey Y’all,
For labs and clinicals:
do you have to change at rrc NDC or the hospital( clinical setting ) or do you come with your your scrubs on from home?!
I am so curious lol!!
Thanks Y’all 🙃
Hi everyone! Is anyone applying/applied to DMS Program for Fall 2025 ? How was your Casper result? I'm interested in applying but the portal is under maintenance. Is it too late to apply now? The deadline says April 2025 but I also have to complete the First Aid requirement and Medical terminology course before applying
To anyone who’s taken or currently in the program, does the college accept credits from Athabasca University? I have a few credits from AU that fits into the pre-requisites of the program
I applied for a program for the prerequisites for 40s math and 40s English. The math being precal which I have both. I uploaded my transcripts for high school which indicate both of these courses and I was informed by an advisor that my high school transcript was marked not met. The system happens to be down right now so she said she can't check until next week but I am kind of freaking out. Anyone know what this means?
Has anyone taken (or is taking) that major? Is it Math heavy? Are there a lot of group works? How hard is it? Does it involve numbers? How is the job market? Any insight/advice would be appreciated.
I was just wondering if it’s possible to take nursing courses during the summer time to shorten the time needed to get the degree. Is this possible? Or is summer break mandatory for nursing students?

Admission staff e-mail me i have to submit English score for taking fewer term and my past student permit

Hello everyone I have a question about the waitlist for the winter term . I did not heard from my admission officer no email answers. How can i get in touch with him should i go in person is anyone faced this before. Thanks in advance
Does anybody know when RRC will be offering this course? I haven't taken the first course but I just want to know when so I can figure out my scheduling. Thanks.
I got my first email from NSLSC about making my first student loan payment coming up. I just got into nursing this year, starting in the spring term, and I'm currently not in school. What can I use as proof of enrolment right now? I'm a first gen university student so my parents aren't really able to help me with these things.
Hi! I am currently taking chemistry at Notre dame campus with hopes of getting into the veterinary technician program at red river next summer. I have talked to some advisors and they said it is 30 student per class and that they also don’t go off of GPA. However that leads me to wonder, how does one get into the program, what is it based off of? How hard is it and how good of a chance do I have?
I have been on honour roll for all of Highschool and middle school with my grades being in the 80’s and 90’s. I am already set to start my volunteering at a clinic next week too as I heard that I can apply for the program as soon as I have my volunteer hours. I am really nervous as I want to get in first try and I’m not sure what determines who gets in to the program. Is there anything I can do to make me stand out or increase my chances? If anyone has done or is in the program I’d really appreciate some input!
I have been enrolled in university for two years for both Computer Science and Business. However, my experience has not been entirely bliss due to the excessive number of elective and mathematics courses, as well as the deliberate difficulty of the first- and second-year classes done so by the professors. Therfore, I am considering applying for the Application Development and Delivery program at Red River College and would appreciate your thoughts on the program and whether it would be a worthwhile to transition or if I should continue at uni. Thanks for any kind of help!
Does anyone know what this course is ?

Hey Y’all, I got in for December 2024 at NDC.
I have been to the NDC many times for various reasons and when I am there I see many nursing students wearing their scrubs! Is this an everyday thing like a “uniform” almost or are they these students in clinicals (I don’t know what year they are in!).
Also, for the classes is it everyday ? When do you start time ish and end ish?
Hi everyone!
I’ve recently been accepted into the AD&D (formerly BIT) program for the Winter 2025 term, and as a first-time post-secondary student, I was wondering if anyone with experience in the program could provide some insight on remote learning opportunities.
I’m particularly curious if there are options to attend portions of the program remotely. Most of my family is in another province, and I like to spend part of the year with them if possible. I’m wondering if the college is flexible with attendance or if there’s strict adherence to in-person requirements for the full-time program.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s taken BIT or is currently in AD&D about their experiences with this!
Thanks so much in advance for any insight you can provide.
i am currently in UofM and am thinking of transferring here to go into radiology or mrt. please give me some insight on the program. I am currently a bio major, 2nd year and will be taking Casper January.
I know it’s still early but I was wondering if anyone started a group chat for the nursing March 2025 intake?
Has anyone took this english test. Is it hard than ielts? Can anyone please help me with this.
wondering if anyone has taken this course before and has any insight on what will be on the exams?? is it more heavily based on medical terminology alone or also focused on anatomy and physiology?
Hi! May anyone advise when winter term courses will be available for registration please? Part time student still trying to learn the ropes, I tried to find info on the website but it wasn’t clear unless I just don’t know where to look. Thank you in advance.
Hi, i had 2.5 gpa in business but i got all A in prerequisites. Do i have any chance to get into program?
Is there an online only option available with part time or is it only on campus? thank you
Hello. students who are taking/took this program. im hoping to start this coming winter term.
Is there anything that i can start learning before school starts. I think i have some ideas but please let me know. Thank you
Is anyone able to provide info as to whether Heal 1006- A&P 1 is offered for the Winter 2025 term. I’ve emailed student services and have received no response. Also can’t find any info on the website.
Hey, is anyone going into the occupational health and safety program in the upcoming term? I'm starting on the 23rd
Hi I was wondering to those who got into this years red river nursing program if they were able to get in with a low gpa? The competitive cut off was apparently 3.5 and I was wondering if someone got in with lower than that. I’m applying next year and I have a lower gpa and I wanna know my chances.
I recently put in a transfer credit form and it’s required for official transcripts to be sent directly from the institution where the courses were complete. While I was filling it out though it said to not re-submit official transcripts if provided at the time of admission. I already submitted all my transcripts in my nursing application so am I good?
