Hiii,
I was wondering to those of you whos been waitlisted for a program, like does it mean i just need to wait for next intake? or like does the chance of me being accepted is very slim?
I applied in July this year for Winter24 and i just received an email saying that i have been waitlisted.
Thank you!
does anyone know if the A&P course counts towards the 24 credit?
i just have a question for how long the courses usually are, because i made the mistake of not taking it in my last year of highschool and it's a prerequisite for the class 5 power engineering course id like to take any help would be appreciated c:
Anyone in the applied accounting, was wondering what to expect for job wise and if you're planning on becoming a cpa or cga what are the steps after graduating. Would love some insight and opinions.
I'm starting at RRC in the fall of 25. What is the bike locking situation like on the notredame campus?
hi im planning to apply for the nursing program but wondering what everyone thinks who's already in the program if should apply as a HSA or PSA and take some courses at UOFM and if that would minus the workload after I transfer to RRC
Has anyone taken the professional baking and pastry program at red river?
How is it for job opportunities after? Is it possible to make a decent living doing this without starting your own business?
Anybody who is joining rrc for Application development and delivery in may 2025 can dm me let’s be friends 😌
Hi RRC students. I'm hoping to write a story for the college newspaper about sobriety during the holidays. I'm looking for student perspectives about any of the following ideas:
Are you choosing to avoid alcohol this Christmas season? Why or why not? Is sobriety important to you? Do you have advice for students who may be sober-curious?
Local restaurants and market vendors are offering more mocktail options for non-drinkers. How do you feel about that?
DM me if you'd be interested in chatting. I really appreciate it!
Hi everyone,
I’m starting the Application Development and Delivery program at Red River College Polytech soon, and I’m wondering which programming languages I should focus on learning to prepare for and excel in the course.
For those who have completed this program (or something similar), could you share which languages were emphasized? Also, are there any other tools, frameworks, or skills you recommend I get a head start on?
Thanks
I applied for the fall 2025 start date in September of 2024 just to get a head start…. They asked me if I could switch my application start date to march 2025 intake as they said there were still spots available and I said yes. again I submitted my application in September, it’s now November 19. My application on the future student account says “complete” however I did not receive my AGPA yet. Just wondering how long it typically takes to hear back. I am also a post secondary applicant. is anyone in this same position that has heard back yet or anyone know what the ”completed” means on the application? Thanks!!
Wondering if anyone has hard copies these textbooks that I could buy! -Fundamentals of nursing 7th edition -Language of medicine 13th edition
Hiii, i dont know if anyone has been through the same thing as me, but heres my problem, i havent recieved my LOA until now and my program is Business Administration for Winter 2025 (start date : January 6th) I've called the manitoba student aid and they mentioned that i can only apply after i get the acceptance letter.
Considering I havent receive LOA and that the payment deadline for tuition is on the first day, should i just defer my program intake? because i think the student aid wont go through by January 6th if i apply this month (Hoping i'll get the LOA).
i think my biggest fear is for whatever reason my student aid is rejected and I wont have the money to pay for the tuition my self lol.
Thank you, have a good day!
Edit : I've applied to RRC since August 😢
I submitted my application at RRC and it asks you to submit an official transcript within 15 days. Do I get UofM to send over an official transcript to RRC Student Services or do I mail an official transcript to myself and then submit a photo of it to the application portal since you can only get paper copies from UofM unless sent to the institution.
Hey Y’all,
For labs and clinicals:
do you have to change at rrc NDC or the hospital( clinical setting ) or do you come with your your scrubs on from home?!
I am so curious lol!!
Thanks Y’all 🙃
Hi everyone! Is anyone applying/applied to DMS Program for Fall 2025 ? How was your Casper result? I'm interested in applying but the portal is under maintenance. Is it too late to apply now? The deadline says April 2025 but I also have to complete the First Aid requirement and Medical terminology course before applying
To anyone who’s taken or currently in the program, does the college accept credits from Athabasca University? I have a few credits from AU that fits into the pre-requisites of the program
I applied for a program for the prerequisites for 40s math and 40s English. The math being precal which I have both. I uploaded my transcripts for high school which indicate both of these courses and I was informed by an advisor that my high school transcript was marked not met. The system happens to be down right now so she said she can't check until next week but I am kind of freaking out. Anyone know what this means?
Has anyone taken (or is taking) that major? Is it Math heavy? Are there a lot of group works? How hard is it? Does it involve numbers? How is the job market? Any insight/advice would be appreciated.
I was just wondering if it’s possible to take nursing courses during the summer time to shorten the time needed to get the degree. Is this possible? Or is summer break mandatory for nursing students?
Hello,Mate
I have questions.

Admission staff e-mail me i have to submit English score for taking fewer term and my past student permit

Hello everyone I have a question about the waitlist for the winter term . I did not heard from my admission officer no email answers. How can i get in touch with him should i go in person is anyone faced this before. Thanks in advance
Does anybody know when RRC will be offering this course? I haven't taken the first course but I just want to know when so I can figure out my scheduling. Thanks.
I got my first email from NSLSC about making my first student loan payment coming up. I just got into nursing this year, starting in the spring term, and I'm currently not in school. What can I use as proof of enrolment right now? I'm a first gen university student so my parents aren't really able to help me with these things.
Hi! I am currently taking chemistry at Notre dame campus with hopes of getting into the veterinary technician program at red river next summer. I have talked to some advisors and they said it is 30 student per class and that they also don’t go off of GPA. However that leads me to wonder, how does one get into the program, what is it based off of? How hard is it and how good of a chance do I have?
I have been on honour roll for all of Highschool and middle school with my grades being in the 80’s and 90’s. I am already set to start my volunteering at a clinic next week too as I heard that I can apply for the program as soon as I have my volunteer hours. I am really nervous as I want to get in first try and I’m not sure what determines who gets in to the program. Is there anything I can do to make me stand out or increase my chances? If anyone has done or is in the program I’d really appreciate some input!
I have been enrolled in university for two years for both Computer Science and Business. However, my experience has not been entirely bliss due to the excessive number of elective and mathematics courses, as well as the deliberate difficulty of the first- and second-year classes done so by the professors. Therfore, I am considering applying for the Application Development and Delivery program at Red River College and would appreciate your thoughts on the program and whether it would be a worthwhile to transition or if I should continue at uni. Thanks for any kind of help!
Does anyone know what this course is ?

Hey Y’all, I got in for December 2024 at NDC.
I have been to the NDC many times for various reasons and when I am there I see many nursing students wearing their scrubs! Is this an everyday thing like a “uniform” almost or are they these students in clinicals (I don’t know what year they are in!).
Also, for the classes is it everyday ? When do you start time ish and end ish?
