How was the install? How is the performance? Can you ride it in the rain? Did you DIY it or go with a kit?
Context: looking to either install MK Design airbox deletes kit or a DNA air filter on my Continental GT 650. Weighing both options.
lately i have been searching for tyres for my interceptor 650,apart from not so confident inspiring mrf & ceat I haven’t found any solid options. Please recommend some which would be not so heavy on the pockets.
Looks little like himalyan 411 but it have a obsolent design ...
Basically the title. I have 2 years old baker express interceptor, 10K kms driven. It was good initially but now I am not feeling confident with the bike, wheel balancing and it’s not steady. I have given bike for service couple of times, they said they have fixed it but still the same issue. What could be the possible issue? Should I switch to alloy wheels? If yes, what would be the cost in Indian rupees.
Any idea what is happening? When I navigate during engine off, it causing the sound. I also get noise when I hit rear brake
What should be the perfect pair of riding jacket and riding gloves? i have a budget of 5-6k.
Is this normal or should i tighten it?
My 1.5 month old Interceptor 650 is making a slight THUD noise (described in Hindi as KHAT KHAT :) ) from somewhere near the front Speedometer or Headlight or maybe the Steering Cone Set of the bike whenever the bike goes over potholes, speedbumps, etc. in a slightly higher speed and manner however, this does not happen when I go slowly over these bumps.
I observed when the bike was new that this happened only when I went over speedbumps at a slightly higher speed but, day by day the noise is getting more frequent and has now started over when I go over a small stone on the rode at a low to moderate speed.
I have checked every movable thing in the bike's front area and nothing seems to be loose enough to make the THUD sound on hard impact on the road. I'm unable to guess where is this noise coming from.
Could the Steering Cone set be at fault? Should I visit the service center?
Thank You
So i was on my meteor 350 I suddenly noticed that my front/right indicator is not working at all and my rear/right indicator is flashing faster than usual ik i have to take to the service centre but i wanna know what can be the issue and if it is gonna be expensive to fix
RE has done has done damnn good job at refining the engine.

I booked my Continental GT 650 on 17th Jan 2025. On 27th Jan I got an email from Royal Enfield that my bike is in transit. I got in touch with my sales guy but he said it's not true and nothing of that sort is communicated to him. He went to the extent to say don't believe Royal Enfield customer care lol. Anyways I was not very convinced with this so I kept track with Royal Enfield. 5 days later today I got furious because the dealer is saying one thing and Royal Enfield is saying something else. I raised a complaint with Royal Enfield asking them to sort this miscommunication because the dealership still had no idea the bike is in transit.
Now after talking to the customer care they tell me the bike that's actually in transit is a 2024 manufactured. What the F. I booked a bike in 2025 so why am I being shipped a 2024 model -_-
I really don't know wtf is wrong. Could anyone throw some light on this.
I've already written two threads on this but this new info needed a separate rant.
So I bought my Classic Reborn back in August'24 in my home town in Punjab, India, but since then now I moved to Pune, India. It's been six months and due for second service ,so what do I need to do, like do I just show up on the service center , do I need to bring along some documents (except Vehicle Regitration, Insurance papers).
Please help out , if you been in a similar situation.
I need detailed measurements of the rear shock absorber, does anyone have them?
Went out yesterday and not by choice ended up riding some of the wettest, dirtiest roads the UK could offer. Bear took it all in her stride. Three hours later I was home with one dirty Bear and a huge grin on my face.
I got my Himalayan 450 tubeless wheels. Recently, I tried to check the pressure, which I do on weekly basis and fill it if necessary using my own pump. I do not believe in the accuracy of pumps at fuel stations as I had many instances in the past. Because of cross spokes, the pressure valve is placed in such awkward position, it is literally not possible to access it for the pump hose/adapter. I could access for the front tyre with some difficulty but the back tyre, it is impossible.
Probably, if I take it to fuel station, they may be able to as they have press type compact pressure head but even that I doubt. How are you guys managing this? Is this problem faced only by me? I am thinking to replace the valve with L shaped one to solve this problem but I am not sure if I need to remove the tyre from the wheel to do it.
Seeking opinion/advise on how we can fill the air using our own setup or replace the valve with L type.

I have booked Bullet 350 Military Black (base model) on 7th Jan 2025. The dealer at the time of booking told me 2024 model is available with him so I inquired which month? and he checked and said JULY. I rejected his offer and said will go with 2025 model. He said it will take at least one month to one and half month you are going for base model and base model are not much in production so it will take time. Go for premium model and you will get quick delivery. I once again said NO as my budget is not for premium and base is more than enough for my requirement. After booking I got the usual welcome message and you can track you booking on app. I downloaded the app and it showed tentative delivery date as 15th Jan 2025 I was like that's strange. Later, the delivery date go shifted to 22nd Jan later it got shifted to 1st Feb and Now no date is showing as the status is showing En route to Dealership. I message the dealer about the same on 22nd Jan and the dealer told 15 days. He once again offered me the 2024 model and I rejected his offer and said will go for 2025 model. I sent the screenshot of status in app and no reply for him. So, is the app reliable for delivery or should I trust dealer's word?
So I got a flat tyre yesterday. Probably punctured because the I was unable to fill the air with pump. I have parked the vehicle in the parking for now. Should I call RSA or get it fixed from local puncture shop? Is it wise to ride it for 1-2km with flat tyre to the puncture shop?
(Interceptor 650)
