Picked up Stewarts for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it

I tried Stewarts for the first time and it is great. Ot is sweet with the cane sugar, not the most fizzy, great rooty herbal flavor, and some caramel notes, too. A solid root beer. What do you think? And how do you think it compares with other brands?

Dads Old Fashioned

Dads Rootbeer Company LLC Jasper, Indiana

Off the bat we have a nice carbonation level and what seems to be just past the median mark. A nice sweet, candy-like flavor I associate with the barrel candies.

There were really no lasting flavors or any that I could pick out in terms of wintergreen, vanilla or even licorice. Somehow it managed to just be a very sub-mediocre rootbeer with no merit points in any category except the history of the brand itself. It also left a slight numbness/tingle in my mouth.

I can’t really write too much about this and while I wanted to enjoy it based off of what I’ve seen here, it doesn’t really strike a chord to want to buy it again. There is no depth and no finish other than ‘sweet candy’.

I had high hopes but this one is a solid (or not so solid) 4/10.

It's just me right? For some reason birch beer tastes like how Altoids smell

Does anyone else taste the similarities?

I see the red cream soda and root beer in almost every gas station around me. I had never seen the cream soda from Barqs until yesterday. 6.2/10 nothing to write home about but to got the job done.

Cruise genie

Our suite concierge on our cruise understood the assignment when I asked for rootbeer in the mini fridge.

Where would you start?

All new to me! Any opinions on Black Bear also? I see it’s made by sprecher which I’m very familiar with.

Amazing 8/10

Great taste, but a tad too much bite….almost annoys the tongue.

Feels like a mix between Big Red and Root Beer. But worse in both regards…

Do not recommend.

Barq’s sugar-free is pretty good. Any other sugar-free recommendations?

Root Beer Advent Calendar

Thought I would share the advent calendar I built for my son last year. Filled it with 24 root beers he hadn't tried. Loading it up again this year.

Rocky Mountain Root Beer

First time trying this one, it was pretty middle of the road for me. I'd say it is wintergreen forward, very light body and too little carbonation. Like a watered down Dad's or something. I'd give it a 5/10, glad I tried it though.

Anybody ever try Angry Rooster?

Picked this up at the Grand Rapids, MI Christkindlmarket today. Strong bite like Barq’s with a sweeter flavor profile on the back end.

Anyone know where you can buy 1919 in SE Michigan? I’ve gotten it the UP before but have never found it near home and man I would kill for some.

I have a song called Root Beer Maniacs

Hi everyone!
I've released an album last year, and it's calles Root Beer Maniacs, with the title song of the same name.
The OG Root Beer Maniacs are my son and me :)

I am not expecting to like the song or the genre, just wanted to share.

A&W in Italy appreciation

I am an Italian guy who discovered root beer while in Canada. In my home country root beer is non-existent and regulations prohibit the use of sassafras due to a supposed cancirogenic potential.

I have been following this subreddit for a while and I know A&W is considered as the lowest quality root beer ever.

Nonetheless, I just found this can in a shop of American goods and let me tell you, I missed this drink so much.

Appreciate what you have guys, it’s not a given, even when it’s just a can of A&W
