Watching a clip of NXT last night, I couldn't help but wonder why Tony Khan hasn't brought ROH back to places like the ECW Arena or the Hammerstein Ballroom for a show or two, opting for places like Texas instead.
Even when WrestleMania was in Philly, they did the bigger arena. Would you like to see ROH return to its classic venues, like the Hammerstein for Final Battle? Or do you prefer the bigger arenas?
If this happens again I will take steps. If something happens to me because you guys are being fuckimg children I may just archive the subreddit entirely and let you guys go somewhere else.
I will be looking to see if it tells me who did this and I will be banning that person
I'm the person in charge by who's grace y'all are even here. You can call me Cory and if pronouns are your thing I use they/them.
If they're not and you want to be here i suggest not saying anything.
I'm in the modern RoH isn't very good category so I don't watch the current product but I do keep up with it.
This group only had 6 rules Read them, know them, follow them.
And while I don't post much I get notified every time someone reports something and I'm always browsing so not much gets by me.
Be good, be kind and treat everyone with the respect you'd like to be treated with
Last but not least this is not a democracy. Cry to your mama or your therapist I promise you they'll care more.
While you're checking it out go reread the first 5 as well.
A new thing I’ve done while watching RoH is predicting Smart Mark bump spots. Location and how he is taking it. Makes it hilarious to see if it happens.
Only report something if it breaks the rules because if it doesn't break the rules I have to take the time to find out why it was reported.
People can complain about the current product. It honestly kinda sucks but I say that knowing what RoH used to be.
People can complain as much as they want
We aren't a hive mind and we will have different opinions. We're also all old enough to not get upset by people's opinions.
And if you don't like what they're doing but it doesn't break the rules then block them because of people report shit needlessly it's them that I will be dealing with.
Thanks
Somewhat new to the whole ring of honour scene. I have watched Ftr and Briscoe trilogy and also am a big fan of all elite so I do love Yuta and have watched a bunch of his pure champion matches with Daniel Garcia back in 2022.
That’s all I have seen from ring of honour besides g1 super card ladder match as well. I’m going to watch Dustin vs Cody today my friend told me that was a great one
Give me recommendations in the comments please and thank you.
In the last few years, the Final Battle PPV has already been announced by this time. The 2021 show was announced on 10/11/2021, the 2022 show was announced on 10/18/2022, and the 2023 show was announced on 10/18/2023. I'm wondering what the delay for this year's show is. Do we think that there is any chance that there won't be a Final Battle this year or that maybe the delay has something to do with a TV deal?
Does anyone have a complete DVD list they could share? Or can someone send me a picture of their collection? I tried looking online but there doesnt seem to be a site that mentions both events and compilations. Thank you for any info.
Thought I'd send this since there was no talk about it on the subreddit. Sorry if I'm late to the news.
Forged in Excellence will take place on Saturday October 19th and 20th at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
In all your time watching ROH, what are some of the strangest gimmicks? This can either be characters or match stipulations
