hi hi hi! i just completed an exchange program with aiesec in rmit and really loved my experience! i got to volunteer in a local charity and really explore without academic responsibilities. i would love to go again but the program has an age limit of 30 and i'm turning 30 in a month. I just finished a diploma of teacher education preparation and I got all the credits expect for 1 credit which was the English semester 2 credit. As of now, this credit is the only thing preventing me from moving into the batchelors, because this credit is recognised by the the government as being a requirement to even enroll into the batchelors. Is it possible for RMIT to give me a credit if I do a make up task? Or and I just have to do something else?

Last year I got accepted into a course and applied for a deferral for sem 1 2025, I was told I'd be contacted in October but I haven't received any communication. I'm not sure how to proceed, and I'm really worried that I won't be able to enroll.

I've messaged them and explained my issue, I also mentioned that I can't login to the RMIT account any more (I think it was deactivated because I wasn't enrolled?) and they just told me to talk to IT but I'm not sure if that'll help because I just want to know how to enroll.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing and am really stressed, any advice?

I got accepted for an RMIT scholarship that was applied for through VTAC but I don’t think I’m eligible because I moved to a location in Greater Melbourne (That’s more specifically in a rural area) so that I could access transportation for University, the issue is that the scholarship is for individuals who moved into Melbourne.

I know there’s nothing I can do, but damn it sucks emailing them to verify my eligibility knowing that I’ll get turned down.

I tried to sign in to my school email account to enroll for next year but the 2 steps verification required me to enter the code that it sent me through an sms. But I’m out of Australia and I can’t receive the sms, hence can’t sign in to my account. Have anyone had the same problem before and how did you manage to sign in?

hi! so i was just notified a few days ago that i passed the selection test requirement and i was hoping to be slightly more prepared before starting the course next year.

i was wondering how much of our own devices/equipment are we expected to bring to lectures and also which programs are most frequently used?

A majority of people from my class received a 3.0 GPA including me. But I'm not satisfied with this as it feels like it will affect future opportunities. HI THERE!, I've been applying for jobs for a long time, but I haven't had any success so far. As an international student, I really need help finding something. I did approached to like some restaurants and the workplaces where i submitted for the position available to drop in my resume ,but to no avail. I'm willing to do whatever it takes at this point—I just need a job. Platforms like Seek and Indeed haven't been helpful at all. My family won't be able to support me financially for much longer, and I already feel guilty about relying on them. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do? i did reached out to people and asked like how they got their first job ,all they say is referencing is what works ,"COULD ANYBODY REFER ME?"

I've applied for Certificate IV in Design at RMIT and while I'm not going to purchase anything until I hear back, I'm hoping to get a rough idea of what supplies and things I'm going to need so I can budget for most of them ahead of time. Could anyone who is doing this course or has done it in the past give me an idea of what supplies I might need? I know I will probably need a new laptop because mine is super old and unable to run any design software but other than that I'm not sure. Thanks in advance!

Hey im an international student, who has got a scholarship at RMIT. Monash is expensive, but it being part of the group of 8 or it being a top 50 uni in the world, make it worth the extra cost?
Also it seems that Monash has way too much of coursework and that RMIT is much more oriented towards getting a nice job, is this true?

I am really interested in shifting to the urban Planning field and my professor has suggested me a few universities with RMIT being one of them. It would be very nice to recieve some suggestions and tips for the admission of this course.

Just checked my results on student enrolment page and didn’t get the results I expected. I checked Canvas to see what went wrong but they haven’t graded my final assignments yet or gave feedback. Is there a possibility that there will be an update or revision of my results.

The HE results were all published today. However, the grades TAB in Canvas does not show any results. This is my first semester so I am a bit confused. Will it take time to update the grades?

Hello, I finished year 12 this year and I have set rmit bachelor of engineering as my first preference on vtac. I am concerned I will not get the required english study score. Since i go to a disadvantaged school and applied for seas i believe i need a 20 but i very well could get less than that. I did well on all of my other subjects, plenty of maths and science, completing a few early and hope to get an atar around 85 so i hope this could help me. How strict is this english requirement? Will rmit still consider me if i don't get the english mark? should i speak to rmit about this? thanks

G'day fellow redditors, I was trying to understand if there's a higher research degree pathway for someone who did a bachelor's of computer science at RMIT (didn't do the hons year) and started working in industry. Do I need to do a hons year first or should I start a MS by course work and take some credits from my bachelors? Or is it possible to directly enrol in a MS by research? I’m an international student doing my last year, I’ve just found out that I failed one elective this semester. Can I do any course in the summer semester as my elective and then graduate in absentia just before my visa expire? Is it possible? I’ve asked RMIT Connect but no answer yet. Thank you guys :)
