Hey I'm trying to find an interviewee for an assignment who moved to Australia any age after 15 and has been here for at least 3 years, from a language background other than English. Dm me if you can assist, the assignment is on experiences of cultural differences.
"After my Expression of Interest (EOI) was successful, I submitted the rest of my application for PhD admission and scholarships at RMIT University on September 20th. As of November 2nd, the status on my application portal says 'ACADEMIC SCHOOL ASSESSMENT IN PROGRESS.' What does this mean? Does it indicate that I have a chance of being admitted, and how long might it take to receive a decision?"
What's the major differences between Bachelor's in IT and Computer Science
Hey all, If you miss the submission date what is the penalty? Does it differ between courses and classes? Does it get fully denied?

I’ve had to defer my exams for this semester, and was just wondering if anyone knows when you receive your final marks if you’re sitting deferred exams? Thanks!

I'm transferring from USYD to a university in Melbourne, so I'm curious on what the split is like. In USYD (for CompSci at least), the split is around 90% international student to 10% domestic. Is that the same at RMIT, or is USYD just one big outlier and for some reason very attractive for Chinese students? (I say this as a Chinese student btw.)
I was interested in attending some games days because I’ve recently gotten into fighting games (Tekken 8 and sf6) and these are the best option for a local for me, how’s the turnout at these, and are they very noob friendly?
Hey guys, I’ve slightly put myself in a fucked situation and wondering how bad it is (or if I’m just overthinking everything).
I’m about to fail all of my classes this semester as I haven’t submitted any of my final assignments due to personal circumstances. Though, I’m moving to Deakin next year to the same degree. (Note: I’m only in the first semester of this degree as I’ve had to switch courses to get into this)
I’m not planning on asking for any credit, but is there anyway that this could fuck me over long term? Additionally, should I just cancel my enrolment now before I get my statement of completion for this semester? I’ve heard that I could get academic penalties if I cancel this late into the semester and I don’t know what that might include
Thank you guys so much !
Has anyone completed programming studio 2 here. Please I need help 🙏🏾
Hey guys, planning to move to Melbourne City early next year. I am doing a Cert Iv in Surveying to get started and thinking to do Diploma in TAFE after. Anyone else done this course or any related courses? How has your experience been? And my friend and I 3 of us are looking for sharing place. Where would be the most affordable to get stay? Near the city or somewhere like Craigburn get a big house and catch a train to City Campus?
Any feedback would be great, thanks!
What happens if you fail a subject that contributes towards your WAM? I don’t have a WAM yet as I just transferred from an associate degree of engineering.

I’m looking for advice and insights on transferring to RMIT after facing expulsion from another university (specifically UniMelb) due to academic misconduct. Has anyone here been in a similar situation, or know of someone who successfully transferred to RMIT after something like this?
Also, do you know if it’s necessary to explain this in personal statements or applications, or if RMIT has specific policies on situations like this? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
In my culture, gifting handmade items is common practice. I have a few teachers who I believe went above and beyond for me and would like to gift them but I’m struggling to understand RMITs policy on this. Can anyone confirm?
I'm considering applying for special consideration because my dad had to go to the emergency room. I’ve been taking care of him, and this happened just three days after my assignment was due. I had planned to submit my assignment three days late, but his emergency pushed it back to almost a week. Since this happened after the due date, will they allow me to apply for special consideration?
I've applied to start a Bachelor of computer science next year and want to know what the schedule looks like. I'm a full time employed shift worker, and I'm trying to see if its actually feasible to attend. The admissions team wasn't super helpful, so I'm hoping to get some advice from someone who has attended.
Any and all advice is appreciated!
