This is my first draft so I'd like any tips for improving it. It's a little over 1 page so I'm not sure how to condense it. I'll also be applying for jobs soon and I'm interested in critical care.
I made the mistake of using Resume Genius to make a resume. I’m trying to cancel my subscription and cannot find a cancel subscription option on their website. They explicitly give directions that tell me to navigate to “My Account” where I will can cancel my subscription. Yet there is no cancel subscription option. There is no way I’m missing the button. Anyone else have this problem?
Please Review my Resume(s)
First one is my personal resume that I'm wanting to use for programs that don't have a template. I'm looking for general feedback about initial reactions/thoughts to the layout. I am so nervous.
Second one is based on a required template-ish (i had some freedom in formatting & font). I am wondering If i'd be better off using the second one instead for all of my apps. I dislike that it is 2 pages and wordy.
Any thoughts/tips would be appreciated ! I scribbled out private info so sorry if that makes it harder to review (I did not want to edit a version just for this)
Applied for more than 1000+ jobs, not received even a single call
4th year undergrad looking for internships.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been applying for full-time cloud roles but keep running into rejections. I’ve worked on my resume a lot, but I feel like something’s missing, and I’m not sure what.
I’m sharing my resume here and would really appreciate your feedback. What should I change, add, or remove to make it better?
Thanks so much for taking the time to help. It really means a lot!
I'm revamping my stale, text-heavy resume after a long five years.
What are your thoughts on embedding interactive media and using the first-person "I" pronouns? So many forums say "I" is the pariah, but I feel for creative industry professionals, it might be a nice break from the distanced, non-pronouned resumes. Please be brutal and honest. It's also my first two-page resume.
¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Hello everyone! I would like to ask for feedback on my CV after the recent update. Thank you in advance 🙂
Hey everyone! So I’ve been dancing(stripper) for almost a year, the first weekend I worked I made what I would make in a week at my waitressing job and quit immediately lol. Now I’m about to finish my degree so I need to start applying to internships. What do I put that I’ve been doing for a year? Taking time off? Bartending?
I am a final year student and I am having a tough time with placements, my resume isn't getting shortlisted of campus (my guess because of my CGPA and my college) and my college only shortlists people with 8.5+ CGPA for companies above 12LPA. I think I deserve at least 12LPA job based on my skills and knowledge but know I don't understand where I am going wrong. Please help me if you can tell me where I am going wrong and how can I improve.
Also I have completed my 7th semester and I am looking for spring internship from January 2025 to June 2025 with a possibility of a PPO, if you are looking to hire or can refer me I would really appreciate it.
Thank You
Hi all,
After close to 3 years in consulting, I am now searching for Strategy & Ops-related roles in the tech sector.
I have updated my CV and would much appreciate any feedback, especially from anyone working in BizOps. For my consulting experience, I long debated between listing key projects with few bullets each vs. summarising and highlighting key skills/achievements, and decided for the latter to avoid repetition and keep more concise.
Thanks in advance for any help! Hope this also helps other as I did not find that many resources on post-consulting CV building.
Hi Everyone
I have completed my Masters degree in Engineering Management, I am looking to transition into Technical Program Management (TPM) roles in software/retail/finance industries. I feel my resume isn't upto the mark, hence I am not receiving any callbacks.
Any honest feedback is appreciated, leave no stone unturned. Also it would be great if I could get detailed feedback around what worked well, what can be improved, and action items to take. any pointers on how to improve it to make it relevant to TPM
Thanks In Advance
100+ job applications in 2 months and 0 interviews. I have 0 experience in full time work at an organization, but since graduating University (one month after the COVID lockdown) i stayed busy learning new skills and building side hustles as i had a lot of time at home. I self taught trading and tutored aspiring trader for multiple years and they did so well. I self taught HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. and i have a few other side hustles but those are the ones i did some serious work on.
Anyways, i know i don't
have direct experience at an organization but 0 interviews?! Im great at
figuring stuff out and getting things done and i want to make sure that
translates in my resume. I really think my older resume played a big part in
getting ghosted and im hoping this one gets me some more attention. I tried
to add as much of what ive done so far as i can fit in one page.
Also, im currently
studying to takes the series 7, 63 & 57 so hopefully that'll get me taken a
bit more seriously.
Id really appreciate any feedback and if you
like my resume and are hiring by any chance id love to talk 😅
Hello everyone. I am a final year undergraduate student, and have been looking out for full-time SDE roles for about a month. I wanted to get some feedback on my resume so that I can improve my future applications. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Hello all, is there a way to list my relevant skills without putting all of my past jobs on the resume? I am trying to apply for a more professional position but afraid they will refuse me since I’ve always had 2 jobs at once and switched a lot because of moving/bad work environment.
Thanks for any tips!
I moved to Australia from India two months ago. Since then, I have been looking for part-time and full-time jobs (SEEK, LinkedIn), but I haven't found one yet. I created my resume with a professional writing agency in Sydney to meet Australian standards, but I've had no success. Please share your suggestions.
For context, I was the project manager for my own Roblox horror game starting in 2021-2023. I oversaw development across sections including (but not limited) to scripting/ coding, 3D model development, 3D landscape development, 3D animations and 2D UI interface design.
With this game, I had reached close to about 20 million overall player count and built a group of around 160k members on the platform. With this, I was able to foster around 10k discord community members, and built a social media following with about 150k followers.
I was nervous about adding this to my resume because Roblox is considered a “kids game” even though there real developers (freelance) and project managers like myself. I have paid taxes on all the income I’ve made from the game since I have been able to even do taxes.
Because of this, is it worth adding to my resume? I currently work a Customer Success position at an aerospace company but my heart yearns for my passion. I really want to pivot, but I’m unsure if this experience applies because it is not “professional” experience and more freelance. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. Thanks!
