Hi Everyone,
I am trying to create some resin photo coasters: I use a circular resin mold, place a fitted photo at the bottom (which I affix with some double-sided tape) and then pour resin over the top. The problem I am having is that a little bit of resin will seep underneath the photo, which causes unevenness in some areas.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Would it make more sense to do the resin pour separately and then glue the photo on to the bottom somehow? Is there a way to do this that won’t create residue or affect the image quality, and will the adhesion be just as strong

This is my final product of what was a water base clay sculpture of Ryomen Sukuna made into a urethane resin cast.
With all the time and materials put into this piece I've been told it can go from $600-$1,000 since it's a hand made piece rather than a 3D printed piece since it can be mass produced.
My question is, is this a reasonable price? If not what would you be willing to pay for this piece? Or a more reasonable price
https://a.co/d/33tQArb I’m looking to buy a respirator to use for making small resin crafts. Would this be a good one to buy or are there others in this price range that are better?

Hi guys, What is this paper she uses? This looks like different sheets taped into one. But what to do if I have to paint 36x40. I want to use Alcohol ink but if I join them together it would be seen, and wouldn't be as smooth right?
Can succulents be dried and put in resin?
Can cotton wool be used in resin to mimic clouds etc or would the resin just destroy it?
Can the led strips lights you buy in rolls be put into resin creations and still work without issues?
Hello everyone!
We made some coasters the other day but the bottom part had some amine blush so we had to sand it out. When we were look for alternatives on making the resin shine again, we thought of using like a clear spray paint. However, we already left it over night and it’s still not dry and some has leaked over the front part.
What can we use to remove the leaks in the front part?
Thank you so much for answering ^-^!
I’m attempting to learn content creation for my social media. I’m honestly not a fan. It’s just more work but I want to increase my sales so I guess it’s a necessary evil. What do you think of my video?
My newest wall art. Made with crushed Shungite for protection
Okay I’m going crazy because every time I finish a project, the entire thing is great and cured perfectly except for one single small spot that is cloudy and sticky. I have a small business so this is becoming a real issue because no matter what I do it keeps happening. I need any advice and suggestions I can get! A few notes:
Please give me ideas of what else could be wrong 😭
Hey there, I tried my first solo resin project and made some Runes for myself.
However, I have noticed there are a few very tiny bubble holes that have happened, mostly on corners. They are very minor, and I should imagine will reduce somewhat after sanding.
I was wondering though if there was anything I could do, and how I'd go about doing it when the bubbles are on the front and sides. I was considering painting the symbols and pouring resin over the top, but I worry that it would then not be flush with the bottom on the rune and cause a lip.
I'm not sure if I made any sense here, but hopefully someone can help me. I need to be thoughtful about the indents for the symbols because they need to be painted with gold.
Hopefully it leaves some cool patterning on this piece
