Overall to me, this isn’t a speculation thing or trying to figure out the “general knowledge” people have. This is an account of my first sessions that I’m trying to record to my best effort now, since I can’t provide further evidence.

Edit 2: the thing I want to bring the most attention to is the change in my senses.

Hi all, recently learned about RV while deep diving into things at the start of these “drone” sightings. I’ve been reading all the information I can find on this forum as well as watching summaries of what Ingo and Daz have done. I don’t think I’ve ever been as interested in anything else ever, as I am now with this. This topic has overwhelmed my thoughts and is the only thing I can think about. The idea that I would be able to find the answers to an almost endless amount of my questions has been an incomprehensible driving force.

At the start of learning about this, I was of course skeptical. After studying into things further, I was somewhat convinced. I decided that the best approach was to start safe. I started reading forums involving meditation techniques and started looking into the studies of Buddha and the Tao. After reading through some beginners guides for meditation, I decided that would be a good first step to try calming my mind before a remote viewing attempt.

Everything is this thread is over the course of 2 nights. The first night, I tried meditation. I took what I had learned and did my best to apply it. I cleared my mind and I focused on counting down from 99. Around getting to the lower 70s, my counting slowed against what I could control. At this point, I started to become very conscious of my surroundings. I was meditating in my hallway, facing the open doorway to my bathroom. I can’t remember exactly what number it was on my countdown, but I became EXTREMELY aware of my surroundings. I immediately open my eyes and see a very tall shadow figure standing directly in front of me. They are at least 8 feet tall but presumably taller and standing directly in my doorway partially hidden behind my bathroom door. They step behind the rest of the door and the shadow is gone.

The next night, I do my first RV attempt. I go to a website that was recommended here, involving 🎯🎱. I was incredibly skeptical going into this session. I calm my mind and start. I have a piece of paper with me to write my “directions” on, but when I start seeing things, I have a hard time comprehending them in my mind. I see other people create illustrations for their viewing, but I felt if I tried I would lose my focus on what I was seeing. I didn’t end up illustrating either of my 2 attempts (going forward I will be recording everything that I can on paper. I understand the importance of this especially when involved with feedback).

Upon my first attempt, it began with shapes and colors. Specifically circular, and green and blue. This attempt lasts no more than 5 seconds. In my mind this has to be nothing. All I did was write something down on a piece of paper twice, repeat it to myself once and then close my eyes. Upon viewing the feedback, I’m looking at what looks like a picture of an underground bunker of some kind. And the bunker is completely circular with predominately blue and green color, only showing yellow as the only color I was missing. This shocks me some, but I think it could still be coincidental in some way. I decide to try another one.

This second attempt completely shook me. I do the same process. I write the “directions” down twice, repeat them to myself, and start to focus on the dark. I almost immediately start to see arching grey streaks. I read about trying to focus in on what you see, so I tried. I pushed myself forward and very vividly saw a large plume of cloudy grey arches. This is vivid enough to snap me back to where I’m at. The experience lasts no more than 30 seconds. I go to look at the feedback, and it’s a smokestack coming out of a volcano.

After seeing the feedback for that session, I was completely sold. There was no way something like that could have been anywhere near to as close as coincidental as the first one. At this point, I’ve terrified myself. The reality I’ve known for the last 28 years is false.

I have always been the skeptical type and was always interested in the idea of the unknown, but this was entirely new to me. Before this week, I had never even heard of RV and had always assumed that people claiming psychic abilities were false. After doing my sessions, and diving further into studies, I was totally convinced.

As per the title of this post, I’m accounting my first attempt at RV. But, I’m also very curious about what the forum has to say for this next part. Since I’ve ended my vivid second session, my senses have been off. For my career I’m a chef. Going into work today, after having my sessions, my taste has been nulled. Everything tastes bland and like paper, but to counter that, my sense of smell is immaculate, better than it has ever been before. With this sudden change to my senses, I’ve had almost 2 days of endless anxiety and cold sweats. The only time either subside is when there is an overwhelming feeling of emotion in a situation. I’m not really sure how to describe this. I have someone come up to me, and I can immediately tell how they feel before they’ve even said anything. The guy was so caught off guard he played it off and left.

Now that we’re getting to the end of things, I want to say that even though this is still new to me, I wouldn’t call these experiences my entry into psychic energy. Even now, at 28, I remember growing up and having multiple instances of my “dreams coming true” as I called it. I would dream something, and then between 1 night to 6 months, it would happen. It was never a “Deja vu” situation, I’ve felt those and they are different, this was entirely something that as it happened I remembered it was something I had dreamt. On top of that and Deja vu, I would also encounter incredibly vivid dreams, that always happened at the same time of year. Specifically my birthday and mother/Father’s Day. Outside of those 3 days I’ve never had recurring dreams. I’ve only lucid dreamt once, when I was 11. The experience and what I saw scared me so much I haven’t tried again.

Again, I’m sorry I don’t have illustrations to show from my sessions, but I was unsure of the idea as a beginner and my sessions both ended up being incredibly quick. I understand that because of this, it is hard to validate my claims.

I think it’s quite interesting that I also chose to write pink in the lower left hand corner and grey in the upper right. Would love to hear your thoughts. Probably spent 3 minutes “meditating” on the coordinates and generally allowed my brain to produce of its own accord and didn’t judge what it did.

Yesterday i made a post about predicting the image of a woman in a red dress and I received the result image now and it was the correct one.

Additionally I tried this out with my dad and two photographs I took and he got it perfectly right on his second attempt too when he correctly predicted the photo would be of our old house we lived at 20 years ago

Every “successful” remote viewing session looks like someone half-remembering a fourth-grade art assignment. Sketches of vague shapes with captions like, “This might be a mountain… or a lamp.” No wonder skeptics flock to mock.

4. AI Worship

Users treat AI-generated prompts like sacred texts. “I said ‘circle,’ and the AI target was ‘a ball’—nailed it!” It’s like clapping for yourself after stumbling on a multiple-choice question with only one option.

5. The Masters of Vague

Descriptions are comically broad: “I saw something tall and made of metal.” That’s either the Eiffel Tower, a skyscraper, or a coat rack. The fact anyone responds with, “You’re a natural!” is tragic.

6. Skepticism Is Forbidden

The subreddit shuts down even mild questions with cult-like defensiveness. You ask for evidence? “You’re not ready to understand.” Translation: “We don’t have any, but let’s keep this illusion alive.”

The r/remoteviewing subreddit is like a psychic talent show where nobody wins but everyone applauds anyway. It’s a masterclass in delusion, filled with just enough sincerity to make the absurdity entertaining.

tldr: I saw a flash of the actual picture but immediately dismissed it.

It wasn't until after I stopped evaluating my line-drawings (trying to decide if they were really a match or me retro-fitting a match) that my mind relaxed enough to remind me that I had seen the exact image but it came so clear so fast, I dismissed it as me just making it up. It happened to have been a life-long familiar landmark. Thinking-mind blew it off "no one would use a picture of that!, you're making crap up, stop goofing around and follow the instructions and try to learn remoteViewing".

Apparently what I actually need to learn is to stop interrupting the view with misc commentary ... and of course to "goof around" more!

It was fascinating to compare the experience of the flash, with the experience of following the instructions and drawing lines on paper. It seems like there are two modes going on. One is slower and less accurate, but still brought a decent result. The other mode, I suspect, is where everyone here is practicing toward mastering.

I have been intuitive for much of my life, and trained in energy healing for a couple decades. In that world, there are folks who target other people to view. It was a huge line of integrity for both me personally and for my lineage training to never abuse the gift by spying on others without their permission.

What I appreciate so much about the paradigm of remoteViewing (as described in this subs wiki) is being able to explore and enhance a skill without any integrity qualms.

I tried out an app for remote viewing where you only get presented the real image the next day, but you get to choose between two pictures to make a guess before it's revealed but only after you made your sketches with a 8 digit number.

So I didn't receive my target image back yet but I'm still very freaked out because from the numbers I made out a woman in a red dress, and sure enough when it let me place a guess between two images there was one with a woman in a red dress in a dancing pose.

I'll post an edit tomorrow if it turns out to be the target but for a first timer this is making me pretty nervous already

Long shown an interest in these types of things and inspired by recently reading some books that made reference to the Stargate program I thought I'd give it a whirl.

First one blew my mind. Thought it must have been a huge coincidence. Second time round made me cry.

I am very excited to share this with all of you. I needed to find some documents, but I couldn't find them. I had previously searched for them in the most obvious places, but to no avail. This time around, I decided to use RV in order to look for the missing documents. I set an intention to find the missing documents and then I was trying to get into a meditative state. However, it didn't take long at all. It just took a few seconds for the impression of an old wooden armoire to appear on the screen of my mind. I felt enthused and decided to look for it there. From there on, I was led by intuition to find it. I didn't find the documents in the armoire, but the documents were present in the vicinity of the armoire (very close to it.). I understood that I got the impression of the armoire as it was close to where the documents were.

I feel so excited and enthused right now.The implications of RV and the whole topic of consciousness fascinates me to no end. I'll never let my ego mind and my left brain demotivate me ever again. :)

For all of my life I’ve been open to the idea of more — I remember contending with the ideas of consciousness as a six year old haha, but who I am is not important within the context of this post.

Karl Jung, a tried and objective intellectual, pushed forth such a notion of synchronicity so many years ago. Upon my learning of this Jung-ian belief, so many years ago, I cast it aside as wrong.

I’ve been tangentially aware of RV for probably just as long (I had a huge ‘conspiracy theory’ phase as a teenager). Over the last years, and with no clarified goading to the algorithms on my part, I’ve been pushed so much remote viewing content. Not even just in the medium of willed remote viewing… this may be lunacy, but I’ve seen like three TikTok’s the last week showing a remote control for a TV with a screen. I’ve been active in UFO subreddits for the last couple of weeks, where I haven’t been otherwise, so this could lead to this display… but it just feels intentional.

I feel as though I’m tired of viewing my own perceived intellect within the frame of man and am being pushed to go beyond…

Please tell me your experiences with remote viewing and how I should begin.

Hey folks, I am an author. During one of my sessions thinking up ideas, I accidentally remote viewed. I had a character and a first name. I needed to come up with a last name and a description. With little thought a name and description came to me (I even decided to change the character's gender because of what came to me). On a hunch I googled the new name combination....lo and behold...it was the person I had envisioned, literally the same name, same job, same description.

Now, my question is, have any of you authors ever had this sort of connection? It really did feel like new creation and I'm not sure I could tell it apart from my regular creative process. I'm just curious.

And for those that want to know, I ended up changing the character's name and changing their gender back to my original idea.

I am really grateful for all the replies, and I was super happy to see that there were so many in this community who want to help. Two days ago I did my first session, where I was spot on (assuming I had also sketched). I will provide the pictures of my first session in the comments. I did it again the next morning and was spot on again. Didn't take pictures of this one.

The help I'm requesting from the title is determining which method I should use. When doing my first 2 session, I went in clueless but like I said was spot on. All I did was go in with full attention, intention, and expectation that the impressions would come and they did... But that's all I did. What else is there to it? I still have so much to learn...

I recently came across farsight, I have known about remote viewing for a year or two now and have never denied it. I fully believe it exists, however after looking at farsight, doing that free trial and after 10 minutes into the first movie I watched, I get a strong intuition that it's bullshit. We should always trust our intuition, right?

Someone please help me out. Where can I go for real info regarding remote viewing. Are there any other institutions like farsight that might be legit?

I'm also not saying farsight is 100% fake, I believe that there might be some truth to what they put out, but I don't know..

We are going do conduct sessions where the target Will be exibihited 24 hrs after.

At each date we will meet at Discord and start a session, each participant sends me the drawing and annotations targeting a image that will be shown at the same time of the next day.

For week one for example we meet at Wednesday for the remote viewing (drawing) session at 7:30 PM, and thursday at the same time to show the real image and discuss.
